83 New Little Brother

Surprisingly, Rin performed better under high pressure. He was able to disappear and reappear from the shadows more accurately than usual and dodge most of the incoming attacks from the Reapers.

Proud, he looked over at his twin brother and laughed, "Brother! See how cool I am!" He said this as he pointed a big thumb towards himself.

Yukio at the back, rolled his eyes and responded, "Yeah yeah whatever you say brother, you're the best. Focus on the fight!" While saying that, he shot a couple more rounds, preventing the Reapers from catching Rin off guard.

Flashing a giant smile, Rin disappeared back into the shadows again. As he reappeared, he quickly dashed up to one of the Reapers to give it a smack on it's head but accidentally tripped on a rock. Seeing this, Yukio called out in horror as the Reaper quickly approached with a punch towards Rin's head. If the hit connected, he would surely be badly injured. "Brother!!"

Aida, who had been monitoring the situation from within the building, also immediately dashed out. She wasn't sure if she could make it in time, but she had to try.

Light also turned around in time to see this occur and sped up his hits, trying to break away from this Reaper. As his concentration reached the utmost, something in his mindscape seemed to rush out and hit the two Reapers approaching Rin. The two Reapers suddenly froze. Light, who was too concerned about Rin, didn't notice at all.

Little White, who seemed to appear out of nowhere, sliced with his hand and chopped the necks of both the Reapers. Then disappeared again, reappearing before the other two Reapers that Lucifer and Light were fighting. He stretched out his hand again and made the same chopping motion, dismembering the two other Reapers as well.

By the time Aida reached Rin, the fight had been over. Rin sat up rubbing his forehead as he called out, "Ouchhh stupid rock! Why are you in my way of looking cool!"

Everyone breathed a sigh of relief as they saw that Rin was okay. Aida rolled her eyes and flicked his forehead, "Being careless in a fight is unacceptable, looks like we will have to go through some training."

At this point, Xiao Ai had finished recharging and floated towards Aida. Similarly, Little White appeared out of nowhere and expressionlessly stood besides Aida as well. The others similarly ran towards them as well, with a sigh of relief.

"Eh?? Who is this little brother?" Xiao Ai asked in a cute little voice. She circled around Little White with great curiosity.

Little White was covered in blood that had come from the Reapers and he was in a mess again. Aida ignored Xiao Ai's question temporarily as she quickly gathered the gems from each of the Reapers as Little White's eyes gleamed with desire. They couldn't afford constantly having to fight the onslaught of Reapers at the moment. She was also inwardly shocked at Little White's strength. It was only a level below her own when she was at full strength.

She quickly brought everyone into the building first to rest up from all the excitement. Lucifer and Ace went to scout for a new vehicle. Ace had his head hung low as he knew he screwed up yet again.

Sitting in a circle, Aida explained to Xiao Ai. "This is Little White. He's going to be your new brother from now on."

"Little Brother!! Hehe~ I like it!!" Xiao Ai bounced around and settled on top of Little White's head, not minding the blood at all. From Xiao Ai's perspective, she liked anyone that Aida liked. So if Aida said this was her new brother, it was her new brother.

Aida watched on, surprised that Little White didn't seem to mind Xiao Ai's presence at all. He seemed to have accepted her presence as well. Opening his mouth several times, he seemed to be trying to say something. Finally, a sound came out of his mouth, "Sis….ter…."

For the Nth time today, everyone froze in shock. He could talk! A reaper could talk!!

In contrast, Xiao Ai was not shocked at all. Rather, she bounced around with even more excitement as she responded happily, "Yeah~~ little brother! I'm your sister!! Welcome to the family <3"

Rin came up with Yukio timidly following behind as he exclaimed, "Hey hey hey, don't forget about us!! We're your brothers too!"

"Mm! You're Bro Rin and Bro Yukio! You're my brothers too! Little White, say hi to your brothers!"

Little White cocked his head, slightly confused as he tried to process what he was being told. Then he reached out with two hands and pointed one finger towards each of the twins and said, "Bro….ther…?"

"Uh huh! Good job little brother!!" praised Xiao Ai enthusiastically. As a naturally happy bun, she loved this new family of hers. She had been lonely most of her life and her wish of having siblings had finally come true.

On the side, the others secretly wiped away their tears. Aida silently praised Light's method for teaching his two younger brothers. In modern society, most people have so many barriers that caused them to discriminate against others through gender, race, ethnicity or identity. Yet, here there were 4 kids of different species who were able to happily coexist with no barriers at all. This was a rare and valuable sight.

Soon, Ace and Lucifer returned with a pair of car keys in their hands. "We've found a double decker RV bus that's suitable for everyone. Let's get moving."
