10 Be With Me Forever

A sliver to killing intent leaked out from Aida as she saw the gun pointing at her, she coldly looked at the blondy. She resisted the strong impulse to kill him where he stood and quietly complied with his request. Now was not the right time to fight back. Otherwise getting into the airport would be significantly more challenging.

Ace on the side started to develop a small killing intent of his own. It was like a tiny kayak as compared to Aida's previous rolling ocean waves of killing intent, but even then it was unusual for an average person to have killing intent. Aida was different as she clearly had killed before, her killing intent was developed from the blood of others.

In some ways, Aida understood why they were stopped before the entrance. Their car looked like it had been through hell (and it had). If the car could express itself, it would surely protest at the inhumane treatment it received at the hands of Aida. The front bumper had fallen off and guts were embedded into the grill, the windows were stained with bloody hand prints, and the body of the car had endless indentations in the shape of human hands, heads and shoes. Not one part of the car was left intact.

If not for the inappropriate intent showing in blondy's eyes, she would have considered letting him go.

For now, she just went along with the situation. After getting off the car, she put her hands up to show that she was harmless.

"Good, now tell me where you came from cutie? What happened to your car?"

Aida internally rolled her eyes at his incredibly dense questions, clearly this man was the typical corrupt police that she read in all her light novels. Entirely changing her mannerisms, she adopted the persona of an innocent little girl. She cocked her head to the side cutely with wide eyes, and responded tearfully, "Mister, we are from City X and came to City A for a conference in the city. We woke up this morning and were suddenly chased by a lot of scary people! Then we got in the first car that we saw and drove over here to fly back home. It was so scary."

Acting completely out of character, Aida internally felt a bit disgusted but persisted with her act. She looked up at the man and asked, "Can you tell me what's going on? Can we go to the airport?"

The blondy stared lasciviously at her body as he responded, "Sure, as long as you give me a little twirl, I can consider letting you in."

Ace standing inconspicuously to the side got angry and was about to fight blondy, but Aida glared at him to stop him from intervening. She didn't want him involved in this mess. Plus, at the corner of her eye, she saw other people with Hazmat suits and guns coming her way. It seems those people knew the bad tendencies of this man and had some enmity with him.

Blondy also noticed his peers coming over and reluctantly waves them on, "Tch I guess you got lucky this time. You can go line up with the rest of them." Little did he know, the one spared in that moment was not her, but him.

Aida went back to the car to grab her servers, and then casually brushed by him as she walked by, making a huge cut in his suit. That'll teach him.

Ace quietly followed behind Aida. He reverted to his usual quiet and shy personality. This was his normal personality when he encountered other people. Aida didn't realize this, but the only times he ever spoke out was for her . In front of others, he was extremely reticent. Even Ace wasn't too sure why, but he just felt naturally drawn to Aida to the point where he was willing to call her Master.

Aida did not notice Ace's change at all as she was focused on a different problem. They were walking to the blood tests station, but it was not convenient for her to share her blood with them. It would reveal too much about her. This was going to be a tricky problem.

Assessing the time it would take to reach the front of the line, she estimated it to be roughly an hours wait. "There should be enough time." She muttered to herself.

She looked irresolutely towards Ace a few times, appearing to be making an excruciating decision. Rubbing her temples, she asked Xiao Ai, "Is this an okay decision?"

"Mm~ Doggy seems nice." Xiao Ai responded in text since there were people around. She buzzed gently using the watch as though to comfort her Mama. Aida's eyes warmed a bit as she patted the watch that was Xiao Ai.

Coming to a decision, her eyes turned resolute. She then turned to Ace with serious eyes and asked, "Are you willing to be with me forever?"
