3 The Start

One month later

"I'll be going master!" Josh was enthusiastic after all his hardships he had finally been able to cultivate and was successfully able to become an middle level adept magician. Standing there Virmir looked at the back of Josh as his figure slowly started to disappear from his view. Virmir turned back with a small smile and went back to recuperating.

"Finally with my heaven grade magic core I'll be able to go back and slap the faces of those bastards" said Josh with a grin on his face as he walked back to city 10000. As he walked he saw a level 2 middle level horned bunny. "A horned bunny! You'll be my test subject to see how strong I've become" Josh raised his hand and said "Fireball" flames started forming around his hand and had been launched to the horned bunny. The bunny wasn't able to dodge and was directly hit and after a few seconds the bunny was burnt to a crisp.

"Great with this I'll be as strong as a pinnacle level adept" Said Josh as he continued on his way back to the city. Along the way he collected all sorts of magic plants ones mainly being moon essence grass, sun essence grass, and spirit cleansing leaves.

"Finally home" Josh put down his bags and went to have a bath down by the lake. After that he went to lie down in bed as he started recounting back his experience from a month ago.

Flash back

"First to be my successor you need to have the best magic core in the world" Virmir said as he readied the materials to give Josh a magic core. "Your going to give me a pinnacle level magic core?!" Josh was ecstatic to hear what his master said and was touched by how generous he was. "A pinnacle level magic core? You don't need that trash, what I'm going to give you is only something found in the higher realms and not in a low realm like this." Said Virmir as he started to lay out the formation.

"Theres something higher than a pinnacle level magic core?" Said Josh as he was wondering what was higher than a pinnacle level magic core. "Yes and what I'm giving you is as if haven't 1000 pinnacle grade cores together combined as one. Oh and get ready this is gonna hurt a lot." Said Virmir as he started the formation. "Wait wait wait I didn't think this was gonna hurt, I thought you would just transplant it into me?!"

"Too bad kid nothing comes free in this world" Said Virmir as the formation had started. "ARGH AAHHHH HOLY CRAP IT FEELS LIKE IM BEING BURNED WITH A PAIN SENSITIVITY TURNED TO 10000 TIMES UP!" Screamed Josh as he started convulsing on the ground until he passed out.

After several hours the formation was successful and he had gotten the heaven grade magic core. "Ok kid here's the Origin Chaos Magician Cultivation Book" said Virmir as he handed a small red and black book to Josh who just started reading it like crazy. After reading it Josh looked up and said "How come there's only three chapters here?" As he stored the book into his bag. Virmir looked to Josh and said "I locked the rest of the chapters since you would explode if you kept ready past chapter 3 and those 3 chapters should be enough for you to become a grand wizard."

"Oh thanks for um not letting me explode" Josh had an awkward and thankful expression as he bowed towards Virmir. "No problem but you should start cultivating to adept level if not I might just unlock the rest to let you explode for making me waste those precious materials" Virmir said as he started walking away. "Wait aren't you going to give me some resources to cultivate?" Yelled Josh as he quickly followed Virmir.

Virmir looked at Josh as he said "Those were my last resources now it up to you to accomplish what you seek" as he walked away. Josh hearing this knew what he had to do and started circulating and gathering mana according to the Origin Chaos Magician Cultivation Book.

Three weeks later

"Good you have exceeded my expectations" Virmir looked at Josh and saw he had gone to middle level adept. "He he he what you said made me keep going and not stop and low level adept" said Josh as he grinned happily. "Well for this you certainly need a reward" with that Virmir waved his hand and 4 books appeared. "Here these are basic spells" Said Virmir as he handed the four books to Josh.

Josh happily took the four books as he proceeded to read them at a desk. After an hour he sat up and went to a wooden dummy as he raised his hand and said "Fireball" Fire started gathering around his hand and had been launched to the wooden dummy. With that he also raised his other hand and said "Wind cutter" and a gust of wind with the shape of a crescent moon was launched from his hand and onto the dummy. The third spell he spread his around him and said "View" which allowed him a birds eye view around 1 feet of him. As he canceled View he then activated "analysis" following which nothing happened.

Thinking he didn't do it right he gathered back mana and said "analysis" to which nothing happened again. He then heard a voice behind him "analysis is a passive spell that needs very little to no mana to form a 'second brain' to scan, analyze, and make a plan for you" Josh turned back and saw Virmir walking to him and said "so it's supposed to make a plan from my surrounding and situation, almost like a subconscious" as he said this he heard a voice from inside "Yes except I'm like a clone of you almost like a second soul inside a single body"

As Josh heard this he knew that this was 'Analysis' and looked to Virmir and said "Do I get a prize for mastering the 4 spells." Virmir who heard this shook his head and said "These are just basic spells with analyze being a spell that I created"

Virmir then said "It's time for your to go, it's already been a month and with the Origin Chaos Magician Cultivation Book which will increase your mana supply, absorption, and efficiency it will make you stronger than most who are in the same realm as you and coupled with the heaven grade magic core which will boost your Cultivation and strength you will become unrivaled in the future"

Josh hearing this couldn't wait had packed his bags and started to go. Virmir faced his back and smiled as he said "Go my little inheritor right now a new era is being made, this era shall be yours, and this shall be your start"
