4 Chapter 4 - Soul Realm

~ A week later ~ (Ye Xen POV)

It has been a week since I revealed my abilities to my father and uncle Xiu. As expected, they did request the president of the Alchemist Association, Gu Yan, a senior alchemy master, to come up and check my knowledge on the subject and possible elixirs we could make. When he discovered that I had found formulas to lost elixirs and pills, the old man looked like child in a candy store.

That is how I earned my position as an Alchemy Grandmaster. I gave him the formulas to 5 pills that Nie Lie had given him and informed him that we should release these gradually as it might also help the Dark Guild. He understood the gravity of the situation and thus, did not get too greedy. These 5 pills also helped solidify his position as the President.

Director Yang Xin also visited from time to time and with every visit, I became more and more sure of making her my woman. She is smart, funny and hot with a perfect mature body. The complete package. These people are fools who disregard her simply because of her status as a commoner.

Father was very happy with this development since it helped him with his cultivation as well. He would soon be reaching 3-star Black Gold rank alongside mother and uncle Ye Xiu. He has been using as Patriarch as well as City Lord to subtly suppress the Sacred Family and their influence. He doesn't know the meaning of subtlety so it is either uncle or mother's doing.

Mother is healthy once again and has started cultivating again. She has finally reached Black Gold Rank due to the elixirs provided by the Alchemist Association (they get 40% of the profit and a fresh batch of elixirs every time). She thanked me a lot after she woke up and always keeps me close to her along with Ziyun.

Father has also realized he has been neglecting his family for his duties and has started delegating more to uncle Xiu and uncle Shuo (his advisers). However, due to the poison, her demon spirit was damaged and as such she has to purchase a new one.

I told her to hold off on it as I might have something that will help her.

Today, finally my journey as a cultivator shall begin since Grandfather is returning in order to check the soul realm of Ziyun and I. Life will be much more fun from now on.

~ 3rd Person POV ~

Ye Mo, Ye Xiu and Ye Zong were seen sitting in a private room in the mansion of the City Lord. They were excited to see what kind of talent the two children shall exhibit. Ye Long was sent to bring the two children in while the three discussed Ye Mo's latest adventures in the wild.

Moments later, Ye Long walked in with the twins and all of them exchanged greetings. Ye Mo informed them he was going to check their soul realm and give them a cultivation technique. But before he could, Ye Xen started explaining his findings regarding the same.

He explained to them how the size of the soul realm, the color, the attribute as well as the form mattered. Needless to say, they were shocked. For years they had been believing such lies that the level of cultivation gradually went down. How many talents have they missed simply because of their soul realm color?

He gave them 5 books which explained the significance and different types of attributes and forms recorded in history, along with cultivation techniques for the same.

Ye Zong and Ye Xiu, who practiced the Seven Heart Technique they received from ancestor founder, Ye Yan, were given the complete as well as the flawless cultivation technique, increasing their rate of cultivation.

His mother was also given a cultivation technique that suited her attribute and form. The corresponding spirit she would perfectly blend with would be an ice type so she set out to search for one. He promised to find the Nightmare Demon Pot as quickly as possible and then give all of them a better spirit.

Ye Mo was told to practice Law Energy but even Ye Xen had very limited knowledge on that since the experts from earlier empires either did not write about how to cultivate Law Energy, were very secretive about it or the books were lost. He promised to look in the Holy Orchid Institute's Library on more information but that is all he could do for now.

Ye Ziyun's result were the same. She had a Cyan Soul Realm, Large Size (check author's thoughts), Snow Wind Attribute and Ice Phoenix Soul Form. The elders were extremely happy with the color of her soul realm as well as her potential.

He gave her the Nine Revolving Ice Phoenix Technique to cultivate. A truly strong one which would allow her to reach at least 2- or 3-star Silver Rank by the time she enters the academy at 14. Her progress would be slower at first since he only had the first 3 chapters of the technique which would only help her reach the peak of Silver Rank or just enter Gold Rank with the help of enough elixirs.

She was ecstatic and gave her big brother a very tight hug, causing him to smile.

But Ye Xen's results shocked everyone, even him.

He had the Legendary Indigo Soul Realm! Something people thought was a myth. But the surprises did not end there. The size of his Soul Realm was classified as Royal. His soul attribute was Snow Wind like most of his family while the form was that of a Chaotic Frost Wyvern.

Wyverns were a legend-rank demonic beast with extremely destructive abilities. Once when a pack of wyverns had attacked Glory City, each wyvern took thousands of life before it eventually fell. They were the nightmare of very demon spiritualist and haven't been seen in two centuries.

His cultivation technique was called the Elemental War God technique. When he explained what this technique did, his family was shocked but they were awed by his potential.

By evening, all noble families knew about the fact that the City Lord's son possessed an indigo soul realm, prompting the enemies to start scheming.

Things were about to get rough for them.
