The most expensive cigarette

Lets ignore Ye Qiu for now. Think Poapasi. Think. There are still zombies in this building and lots of unlooted supplies. Ye Qiu can help me survive but I need to supply him with energy points. How many energy points does Ye Qiu have?

"You still have 4 energy points."

4 energy points, huh. That's enough for 4 fights. The earlier fight with 3 zombies lasted several seconds. Well, since he and my phone are one, its no wonder that he charges like telecommunications companies. But that's ok. At least I can rely on him.

Poapasi looked at Ye Qiu who pulled out a cigarette and began smoking.

Revise that. I can rely on him a little. Got to learn to be independent. If I remember correctly the kpop something have a concert this week. Hopefully that means less zombies in the area. What I need to do is to clear zombies in this building and the other buildings, grab every supply and level up.

The first thing that Poapasi did is to look for a weapon suitable for hallways and stairs. He have many ideas for weapons against zombies. If apocalypse did not come then Poapasi plans to reveal this weapons through the novels he is writing.

He tied a small shelf to his ergonomic chair. The shelf would be used to block the zombies and the wheels on the chair would make transporting the shelf through the hallway easy. Next, he gathered a lot of rope and placed it in a plastic bag. Then he picked up his coin purse and a few tennis balls and his tennis racket.

Poapasi took a deep breath to calm himself. Quietly he opened the door and peeked at the hallway. A couple of zombies are standing still in the staircase. This is it Poapasi thought as he threw a tennis ball to the stairway. The noise it would make as it bounce through the stairs would hopefully attract the zombies. The coins would follow one piece at a time to keep the zombies guessing. After seeing the zombie scramble through the stairs, Poapasi looked at Ye Qiu and said, "Follow me."

If Poapasi wasn't so nervous and waited for a response then he would have heard what Ye Qiu said.

"Let me finish this cigarette first." Ye Qiu replied as he pulled out a new stick of cigarette.

The entire fifth floor belongs to Poapasi so he is sure that the rooms are empty. When he reached the stairway, he tied the chair and shelf in a way that it will block the entrance. Of course he left a small crawl space so that he can return to his room later. Then he quietly walked through each floor and guided the zombies using small items to make a noise. Poapasi is being careful but even if he mess up there is always Ye Qiu. That's where his confidence is coming from. Otherwise he would choose a different course of action.

The plan is simple. Gather as much zombies as he can in the street then use two energy points to eliminate them. Increasing his level would enable him to better handle the zombies alone. With increased level comes increased strength and more confidence. Besides, he would need a lot of stamina to search the area carefully and a lot of strength to move any supplies that he discovers.

40 zombies have been successfully lured to the streets. They are cheerfully running after Poapasi as he shouts a certain persons name. He is thinking that this isnt a good way to test the stamina and reflexes of his new body. If only the reliable Ye Qiu is here. Where is he?

Meanwhile Ye Qiu is in Mobile Assistant form checking webnovel app. This is his only time to check it because he cant open the app if Poapasi is nearby. How come I don't remember anything and why didn't it bother me until now?

Ye Qiu did not tell Poapasi the truth. First, the thing about energy points is a lie. Its true that Poapasi can obtain energy points but its use is to build a body for Ye Qiu. There is actually no limit in his control to Poapasi's body. Its just that Poapasi needs to give consent everytime. The second thing Ye Qiu lied about is spirit stones. The actual use of spirit stones is to unlock Ye Qiu's memory. The chapters of the novels are not really locked. As for food and items mentioned in a chapter being purchased by coins. That's a lie. Energy points are needed to buy food and items. As for the use of coins, they are used to purchase guns and ammunition.

Ye Qiu needs Poapasi to obtain energy points and spirit stones. And Poapasi needs Ye Qiu because the system is merged with Ye Qiu's mobile body. Only through Ye Qiu could Poapasi use the levelling system and allocate his stat points. They need to support each other to survive. But Ye Qiu wouldn't trust his life to someone he doesn't know. Well, he doesn't know himself so he cant be sure.

The next thing Poapasi knew is that he managed to convince the zombies to join the fun run 2019.

Ye Qiu can see energy points increasing. So he didn't bother to even look out the window. It seems that Poapasi can handle himself. 2 hours later Ye Qiu has tried everything and it looks like the app is functioning normally just like how it should before the apocalypse. Theres just one thing that is different. Ye Qiu cannot create a novel. The secret must be there. Now, how can he con Poapasi into writing a novel?

While he is deeply thinking about that problem, Poapasi opened the door. He looked at Ye Qiu with anger in his eyes. After a while he spoke.

"Ye Qiu, I need to earn coins. Change form into a mobile device."

"Ok." Even though Ye Qiu had ignore Poapasi, he cant continue to do that. He needs him to obtain spirit stones and energy points.

"Start the webnovel app, open the novel 'The King's Avatar' and unlock chapter one then read it out loud."

Ye Qiu put out the cigarette that he is smoking and threw it out the window. As he was about to start reading Poapasi asked him where he got the cigarette.

Ye Qiu stood up and looked Poapasi straight in the eyes. He took a deep breathe, looked at the sky and answered with an air of mystery as if he is trying to explain something profound.

"It was a good cigarette."
