12 Experiencing Nature's Kaleidoscope

New animals began to appear in the view as I commenced my P.W, embedding their awesome and majestic existences into my memory encyclopedia.

There was a fat duck with a rather humanoid body leaning on a cool and shady tree.

They were chill, and even accepted me and the centaur rabbit to rest beside them for a couple of minutes.

There was a curious squirrel-like creature the size of a tractor with a bodhi-leaf-like structure of a tail.

They wanted to eat me, which they certainly attempted. It didn't go very well for them. A pleasant and cool experience for me, on the contrary. Never thought that getting lifted and chewed like a gumball would be this exciting!

I definitely didn't awaken anything new inside me.

I definitely didn't.

The nature and its ecosystem began to warm up to me, revealing more of their presence as I traveled more of this forest.

Beatious flora and fauna creating picturesque views worth millions of likes on social media were there proudly presenting themselves.

Insectoids that may or may not terrify a human on earth due to their given size were also there, churning the gear of nature balance into action with their existence.

There were also those jiggly translucent slime with the body texture of comprehensive water. Yes! A literal fantasy slime was there right in front of my eyes! Or body, or whatever the hell I'm using to perceive this world!

I thought they were my friends, but we couldn't communicate with each other in the slightest… Either that, or I haven't found out how to do it. They all also ignored me as if I'm non-existent to them, it hurt what was left of my pyrite-woven heart.

A rather menacing orange boar with glowing tusks was also present in our jogging journey. Unlike the rabbit, it didn't act any hostile at first encounter. Really, they were only trying to mind their own business. I respect that and did the same as I admired them passionately.

Maybe too passionately. I noticed this because the boar eventually tried to run away from me.

Then after we passed a certain checkpoint, I noticed that the rabbit began to gaze in a certain direction while following me. I stopped and decided to take a look.

The moment I shifted my path, I saw quite the confused expression on the rabbit's face. They didn't show any sign of discontent so I carried on.

It might be really brief but I saw the rabbit take something on the ground and immediately shoving it into their mouth.

My relaxed brain cells almost labeled this poor creature as a dirt eater. Nonetheless, I kept on going with the determined direction while the rabbit vibrantly followed along.

There, I stumbled upon a peculiar tree that stood out from the rest. It was a large reddish tree with crimson leaves and golden veins. The tree itself was not any taller than the average tree of this forest, which made its rather inconspicuous existence to be concealed under the nature canopy.

This place felt a little bit refreshing, otherworldly, even — with how there was more space and wild flowers than everywhere else.

On the red tree's roots, there was a broken small platform made out of a crude woodcraft. The damage appeared in the form of a thundering split, as if something had struck it with a karate chop and malicious intent.

The rabbit didn't have any change of expression. Instead, they immediately grabbed the hanging vines from the nearby tree and began approaching the broken woodcraft.

They seemed to be attempting to fix it. I noticed that if they really want to conjoin the broken part that way, it would need more vines than what they currently possess.

So I worked my way to gather more vines on the nearby trees. They were surprisingly abundant in this vicinity.

I gave the rabbit my goodwill gesture, stretching out my feeble stub of jello with a bundle of vines on it. Without thinking twice, the rabbit took them and just went on with the repair.

It didn't take much longer for the woodcraft to be fixed.

Albeit looking even more cruder than its damaged state, I could see the outline of the object structure. The excess vines were improvised to be some sort of idol, like that of a mini altar for one to pray with.

The rabbit then stood in front of it, clapping their hands twice with eyes closed before pulling out a small red fruit that they stored in their cheeks, placing it on top of the altar.

To be here to witness all of this play out was nothing but a gift and blessing in itself. If I were gone back to my usual day of being an internet vagant, would my online friends believe the story I told to be true?

But just as I was about on a tangent in my mind, the temperature of the surrounding rearranged itself as if something had been playing with nature's switches. My body felt like being surrounded by strong floral scents and a deep hint of mint.

Then, mist began to appear above the praying centaur rabbit. My Plato's cave mind couldn't really do anything but to stay as a bystander as everything unfolds.

Form began to get discernable as the sunlight was ticking.

The mist formed the shape of a moose.

An incredibly gargantuan moose.

Winds converged into a cyclone for a second, but gentle enough to do nothing but caress the grass and the crimson leaves of the giant tree. Then, the space exploded in bright white as pinkish petals were scattered by the entrance of a majestic beast.

Its antlers spanned more than ten meters each, sprawling about from the innocent face of the wise and knowledgeable moose. Its body stood higher than a house, showing how much of a powerhouse this entity represents by just existing in this world.

A towering beast of indomitable magnitude.

It was like watching a deity descent into this world, something that I have never expected to be this radiant of an experience.

Gently, the moose lowered its head and onto the impoverished altar that the rabbit had repaired, tenderly snatching the offering from the presentation.

"'Tis has been a while since the last offering."

Am I hearing what I'm hearing?? Actually, am I hearing anything at all??

"Tell me your desire, little one."

It seemed like the moose deity was currently conversing with the rabbit.

As expected, there wasn't any sound at all. All of these words appeared telepathically in my mind like a piece of sentence manifesting itself from invisible pages.

It's like reading the subtitles of a dubless movie.

"I see. Such a mere wish from a humble critter." The giant moose then laid its gaze on me. "You're in quite the luck, to meet with such an otherworldly case of Knowing Hardness."

Knowing Hardness?
