13 Beaten By The Earth Lizard

'It seems my new skill isn't that bad, Hehe!'

Even though the earth lizard is just right beside me, taking a sniff and swinging its claw randomly, it still has difficulty tracking me. 

However, with the fact that it stays nearby, it means that it has an idea that I am just around; it merely can't say the exact location. It seems it's trying to determine my exact place as it attacks. 

I want to tease the lizard, but I hastily contradict that idea before I could do anything stupid. I remember it's impossible to remain hidden if I move because it will create noise. 

I continue to watch the earth lizard's action. 

Hiss~ 

As I watch, I see a red light flash at the earth lizard's eyes as it hiss when its eyes fall on my location. 

'What does that light mean?!' I have a bad feeling about it, but I don't know what is wrong. 'Isn't it merely a light? But it could also be a warning!' As I am startled, the earth lizard turns back. It shows a sign of giving up and seemingly about to go away. 

However, contrary to what I am expecting, its whip-like tail suddenly stretches up, and with afterimages, with a speed that cannot seize up, it suddenly flies towards me. 

'Wait... Did I get fou~?!' 

I don't even have enough time to ask as the whip-like tail with a *boom* hit my face, and it sends me flying. 

I feel like something hard but elastic hit my face. My jawbone got dislocated with a *crack* as I lost my stand.

With another explosion, my face hit the ground before my body. The force is powerful enough to sink half of my head to the ground.

I hastily shake my head and struggle to pull my face out of the ground. 

Fortunately, it didn't take me a long time.

'That dive made me ate fucking mouthful of sand!' I say as I regain my balance and take a few deep breaths. 'That almost suffocates me!' I say.  

Bloods mixed with dust also can be seen on my lips. 'It's fucking awful! ' I say.

'Another flaw.' Hearing the system, this is the only word I can think of. 'Once you get hit with a fatal move, the skill will be deactivated forcefully. ' I say. 

Before I know it, my camouflage is already depleted and my body reveals itself. 

Nevertheless, although that attack hurts, it helped me gain an important detail. 

Now that I ain't hidden anymore, there is no need to make the real battle await. 

I shake my body to dust myself as I steady myself.

Actually, even with my entire power, which is at the Mortal Martial beginners stage, my power doesn't have a vast gap from the power of the early lizard that is at the level of Tier Nine Middle Stage. It isn't a big surprise that its attack could have a tremendous impact. 

'I am just stupid to underestimate and play with fire with it!' 

'Fortunately, it doesn't hurt that bad, I still can make it!' I tilt my neck and try to feel my face. I move my cheek to feel if it's painful. It hurts a little, but not enough to make me groan. 

Fortunately, although I underestimated my enemy, before the attack could hit me, I successfully formed a defensive energy shield around me that lessened the damage I got. 

I shake my body again, which makes the dust scatter. There's no more blood, as my healing power is too overpowered.

I spit saliva with a mixture of dirt and blood to the ground before I take another deep breath and turn at the earth lizard with my blazing eyes. 

As I gaze, I see its tail move. 'Its tail looks so broad. Ain't that surprising that it engulfed my entire face!' I say. 

I smile as I mock myself in my mind. 'I just got beaten by two individuals in the same race, consecutively. Because of my ignorance, of course!' The smile turns bigger as I think 'No need to hold back right now!' 

As an idea pops into my head, a massive amount of aura that I am suppressing finally leaks out. This move of mine even causes a stir of nature. 

That's so cool!

As I am lost in thought, I hear a weird noise and spot the earth lizard who is about to do a sneak attack again.  

'For some reason, I doubt if their race has a low level of intelligence, or I am the one who has!' 

But of course, there is not much time for me to spare to insult myself. I quickly stabilize myself and wait for the tail to come again. 

The earth lizard's tail extends about five meters long, and it has become its major weapon. 

I don't have too many skills that could help me defend myself from this attack. However, I still have some tricks hidden from my sleeves. 

This should be the first time I will try this skill to attack. 

As I think, my head (just head alone) extends into as big as a basketball ball and my mouth stretches like the mouth of a snake and my teeth turn into sharp fangs that are ready to grind anything on my way. 

This trick is a new trick I learned after the supreme bite advanced. Yes. I am planning to catch the tail with my mouth. 'Although the momentum of the tail will be strong, using all my power, I know I can catch it without difficulty!' I say.

The scene looks so slow, although, in reality, it didn't even take a few seconds. Seeing the tail that is about to descend towards me, I don't dare to idle or wait for it to come, I take the initiative to confront it in the air.

Rather than sounds of meat, what sounded is a rock and a metal. The tail is armored by the earth element, although tough, with the exceptional power I have in my teeth, Supreme Bite Skill, my teeth that are that has three inches long breaks the armor as it touch it and I successfully bit the flesh of the tail. 

However, the flesh of the tail didn't shatter, but my teeth got stuck at it, which once again gives an opening to the lizard. 

Seeing that I am stuck on its tail, it swings its tail from left to right, and smashes me back and forth, from the south to the east, on the ground. I get smashed to the ground for unknown times until my teeth loosen from the grip and I get thrown away.

Although I catch the tail, that also brings bad luck. 'Not a great move!' I say.  

All my bones break and my flesh has cuts and wounds. My jaw desort and my eyes feel sore.  I am no different from a walking fresh meat. 

'But of course, no one should expect a beginner like me, who didn't get into a fight for his whole life!'
