17 The Five Continents and Seven Races

Jaerica, Aria, Dura, Ranor, AFdragon continents... 

These are the five main (alive) continents. 

There used to be twenty continents, but because of the waste war that occurred hundreds of thousands of years ago between races/continents, some got destroyed and are now dubbed as Ancient Continents. 

(Meaning: Ancient Continents - A dead continent that once had its ancient civilization but died by the gist of time/specific reason) 

There are also some cases where the continents got destroyed or got occupied by monsters. That being said, it is normal to find beats in this said; Ancient Continents. 

Beast-Men, Elves, Humans, Dwarves, Demons, Mermaid, Beasts... These are the seven dominant races in the world. 

Beast men are good at physical strength while weak in magic or mana manipulation. There might be some mages in them, but it is relatively rare. 

Elves have been said to be the oldest race. Many individuals said that they could live for ten thousand years, but in truth; they can't. They can only live for two hundred years. What makes them unique is the fact that their appearances aren't aging as how other races did. They got also known as intelligent races and are good at the magic that is connected to nature. Healing. (They are very racist though) 

Humans, a well-known wonky race, some are weak in mana, some are strong, some are weak in physical strength, some are strong. Greedy individuals and the latest race who learned how to manipulate magic.

Dwarves, the smallest (in terms of height) race, good in technologies, good at building structures, and creating weapons.

Mermaids, the most peaceful race because they have yet to find their nemesis, the sea is their domain and no other race is, like them, able to live in the sea. They have a human upper body with the tail of a fish rather than legs. They can be considered as the Beast men of the sea.

Demons have been known for having an unparalleled physical body just like beast-men, but the most astonishing thing about their race is their ability to manipulate the element of fire. They also have a bad temper and are always seeking trouble, but not as troublesome as beasts. 

Beasts have been dubbed as troublemakers; they were the individuals that once supreme existence and tried to rule the world but failed because of the existence of magic. 

Also, because of the constant beasts' invasion, there are many beasts around the world, whereas the races that live on specific continents are trying to eliminate them. 

As an example, the Continent of Humans, the Aria continent. Some places already occupied by beasts; cities, and villages. And so, the heroes, hunters, mages, etc. works are to eliminate all these monsters and make the Aria continent become a safe place for humans. 

However, Beasts or Monsters are difficult to deal with. Not only do they have an enormous amount of power in them, but they also have an unimaginable number. Their number is increasing every day. 

Of course, these seven races are not the only races in this world, they are just the dominant races because some races didn't want to appear in public yet remained hidden in isolated places.

Time passes without me realizing it. 

Tap* 

Suddenly, someone taps my shoulder, which wakes me up from my deep concentration. 

I turn my head to see who it is that is tapping me and see a cute little face with a big smile standing right beside me, making no noise. 

"When did you come here, Tiara?! " I whisper as I close the book and stand up from my seat as silent as possible. 

I pick up the book and put it with the other one before I excuse myself to Tiara and go to the Librarian. 

I am in a library, so; I want to minimize my noise. 

I will talk to her once we leave.

After some questions and so on, I signed a paper, the name, the date and the reason for borrowing the book, the name and the number of the book. 

At first, the Librarian seemed to want to say something, but she halted her sentence because Tiara appeared next to me. Just her expression, I know she is about to reject my request to borrow the book.

Star section really is a good status.

(The librarian don't know the faces of Star Section students, she only saw the Golden Coin on Tiara's Chest so she found out)

After she permitted me to borrow the book, I didn't forget to give her a smirk before I thanked her.    

I know that it isn't against the Academy rules to borrow so she can't and should not reject my request, but maybe because it is so complicated and I am just new here, she wants to reject my request. If not because of Tiara, I might end up fighting with the Old Lady.  

Although I am just a mere student, I don't care if she is the librarian or if she had a connection in this academy. I am the one on the right side and I won't back out. 

I respect those older than me, but if they try to do something I don't want, of course, it is a different story. 

After a not sincere thank you to the Old Lady, I and Tiara left the library. 

I don't know why, but I feel more pissed off right now than when the red lady professor did something out of the line.

Having the book stored in my spatial ring, me and Tiara walk straight towards our house. 

We don't own a car, so, of course, we can only have a walk. 

Although Tiara once said that she can use her achievement points to exchange it for money so we can buy our car and buy a new house or renovate the current one, the old Rolan didn't accept that because he wanted his sister to use her achievement points for her study. 

After all, once she graduates and becomes successful, what she proposed to buy will be nothing to her. Once she becomes successful, she could buy everything she wants or everything we want. 

That Old Rolan is right! 

I sigh as I turn my eyes around.

The world is so beautiful...
