My body feels weak yet at the same time energized. Weak because I just woke up and energized because the fatigue I had yesterday now disappeared.
Yawn*
I yawn as I stretch my hand and hear the familiar cracking sound within my body.
I don't know, but I got used to cracking my bones because it is making my fatigue get eased. Although it isn't good for the body, as long as I don't do it from time to time, it won't cause any trouble.
In a blink of an eye, it had been over two months since I came into this world. Finally, I can get a gist of some changes in my atmosphere, in my new world.
I didn't come to the academy since I gave back the books that I borrowed. What I did instead tried to discover things from my new world. I went around, looked at every corner to analyze the place where I was, and studied the information I needed to know.
For example, the names of the city I am in, the name of the streets, the place where I can go if I want to relax, the shop where I can eat delicious food, and so on.
Just some basic information.
Why did I go this far just to learn?
It is because I know I wouldn't progress if I relied solely on the memories that I have from the Old Rolan.
I thought that rather than waiting for it to be fully open, which would waste too much of my time, it should be better for me to take the initiative to learn.
Having said and done, I learned so much in these past two months of my little journey around the city.
First of all, the name of the city I live in is Mahika. A small city with a population of around two hundred thousand individuals and divided into hundreds of streets. The name of the street where my house is located has named Pintas. A street where neither poor nor rich families are living. Just like me and Tiara, although we don't have a lot of money, at least we can eat three times a day.
There are many things I found out these days about this world. This world isn't a world of the medieval era. There are many technologies, too. And somehow, I can say it is more advanced compared to the earth I once lived on. Or, to be precise, advance in different ways.
There are many technologies, but they are being run by magic.
Just like; Bulbs, phones, Cars, etc. rather than being run by electricity or gasoline, they are being operated by mana.
This is the world where people can accumulate mana and use magic. I can say that it is more convenient for them to use what they have than to buy what they don't have.
Just like on earth, they are using gasoline but humans don't own gasoline themselves so they have to buy, just like people don't have electricity themselves so they have to pay per month, electric bill.
At least, because the people here already have what they need to run their technologies, they don't need to spend too much money and they can earn more because they can use what they have. Mana.
It explained why there are almost no poor people in this world, maybe, only about 1% are poor, and they are poor solely because they are too lazy. (Lazy to work)

Pintas Street.
There is a well-made wooden house at the center of many houses that are uniform in each other.
The howl of the wind is the only thing you can hear amidst the death of the night, which gives the feeling of drowsiness.
The house has made of wood, so the wind can enter and exit freely. The atmosphere is fresh and pollution-free. Compared to my Old World, what is with the wind isn't pollution, but mana which helps one's body to feel warm.

I yawn again as I stretch my arms wide before I take a deep breath again.
I just woke up from my meditation state.
Sitting in a lotus position while having yourself in a state of concentration, calmness, and the constant rhythm of breaths was the way of mages' cultivation towards advancement.
Having just woken up from meditation, although my body doesn't hurt, my mind feels otherwise.
I need to replenish my lost soul energy.
There are two types of energy in this world, Physical Energy and Soul Energy.
Physical energy is what I am using when moving my body/physically.
On the other hand, Soul Energy is the energy that we consume when we are using our mind. It depletes as we think or meditate.
Once soul Energy, if one's soul energy runs out, one would feel sleepy and have headaches. Depends on how much soul energy they lost.
Compared to it, physical energy is the energy being used when moving physically.
Well, the name already can explain it.
When physical Energy gets exhausted, one's body would feel fatigued.

A smile forms on my lips as I retire from my body to my soft, comfy, and cold bed.
Happiness and excitement are circulating through my body, opposing the lightheadedness I currently am experiencing.
After two months of continuous attempts, walking in many paths, and finding answers to my doubts, bit by bit, I opened countless seals of memories of the Old Rolan, and so, after two months, almost the memories no longer locked. My memories and Old Rolan memories are now close to being one.
I know, it won't be long and the Old Rolan will hundred percent going to disappear.
Not only that, but I also successfully level up my power ten folds at a quick pace with no one knowing.
Now, the only thing I need to do is to sleep.
