19 Back To Academy And Get A Bad News

"Broooooooo~ther! " 

Pain erupts in my stomach (once again) as my body sinks on the soft bed with the force from the sneak attack of my little sister, Tiara.  

Even though I already told her not to wake me up this way, she's still persistently doing it. 

She's full of "nods" and "yeses" every time I am scolding her, but when morning comes, her evilness is always kicking. 

I can't blame her, though. Although we are siblings and we live under the same roof, we only have limited time with each other. 

Especially these coupes of days where I dedicated my time unblocking the memories and studying the world. 

I can understand that she also wants some of my attention. 

Now that I already got what I wished for, I can pay more attention to her once again. 

Anyway, these last few days, I always keep seeing her leaving at night time. Unfortunately, although I want to ask her why she's always leaving, I am suppressing myself to do so. I don't wish for her to think that I am trying to control her. 

Maybe I should take it slowly.  

...

"Brother, you've been absent for two months straight. Don't you think it's too much? The last time you didn't go to school straight, it only lasted for a week, but how come you did this time for two months?! " 

Before I could speak, Tiara's annoyed voice sounded in my ears. 

Fuck! So loud! 

I just woke up so my hearing is still sensitive. I have to use my hand to cover my eardrum and protect my eardrums from breaking. 

Because Tiara's voice is cute, every time she's angry, the pitch is too high that making it sound like two stones hitting each other. 

Annoying! 

Her voice made my muscles shudder. Not because I am scared, but because it's irritating.

After a few more minutes and noticing that she has no plan to stop, I pick up a pillow and throw it on her face before I hop down from the bed and run towards the bathroom.

Bam*

I shut the bathroom tight as soon as I step inside.

Hahahaha

After I guaranteed that my life is safe, only then did I laugh out loud.

I don't know what would the other going to react if they see what had happened; No one would guess that the so-called Star Section Student just flew away with a pillow on her face.

Of course, I am just teasing... I didn't exert too much strength in that attack. Hehe.

Because of what I did a while ago, Tiara got pissed off at me and didn't want to talk, nor even look at me. 

Stamping her feet from time to time, looking at me secretly when I ain't paying attention, the two of us reach the academy gate. 

Before we depart, she gives me a startled look, as if she is debating whether to talk to me. But when she sees me looking at her, she suddenly curls her upper lips and looks away. She gives a hump then walks away. 

Sigh*

What a troublesome kid.

I can't help but scratch my head as I walk in a different direction.

Because it ain't my first time in this place, there is no need to ask for directions. 

Instead, I arrive at the room with no hassle. 

...

As I am on my seat at a certain corner, I sense something is off with the atmosphere. For some reason, many eyes are weirdly looking at me; as if I am dead meat in their eyes.

I return the gaze to them, giving them a questioning expression, thinking that I'll get an explanation on what is the matter. Unfortunately, rather than giving me an explanation, they give me sneers as a response, then look away. 

Sigh*

I shake my head and look around. They all now returned their eyes back to the blackboard. However, they are still talking in a low voice while laughing with a touch of sarcasm. 

Are they talking about me?! 

They are looking in my direction from time to time, secretly pointing at me (assume) with their gazing eyes. Even an idiot can guess that they are talking about me. 

"Do you know what they are talking about? Or why are they giving me their weird gazes? " 

I ask as I lean over Jasmine's shoulder. Since we know each other, we are sitting next to each other again. 

She turns around but gets shocked to see my face just a few inches from her. She suddenly stops and bites her lower lips as she gulps.

"Jasmine?!"

I said, waking her out of her dream.

She subconsciously backs away in shock before she pushes me away with her hand.

"Yep. Hehe"

As if nothing happened, she sneers as she answered. 

Here we are with the sneer again! 

I raise my hand and flick her forehead.  

"Aww! " 

She cries and acts as if she's hurt; she covers her forehead with her hand while looking down. Seemingly about to cry.

Nonetheless, I can see the smiley face she has. 

"Could you just explain to me?! " 

I ask again as I put my head down on the table. My chin touches the table while looking sideways at Jasmine. 

Currently, I look like a lazybones of the class. 

"You have no fun at all! Tsk* Lazy idiot!" 

Seeing my action, she didn't let go of this opportunity to criticize me. 

"Hmph! U didn't go to school for more or less than two months. U didn't even come to meet me~ Ahem~ I mean, we have a deal, didn't we? You lost the fight, then you disappeared the next day! "

"Now! Do you want to ask me as if we are close?!" She adds, silently fuming in annoyance.

Haha! I can only scratch my chin as I laugh in a low voice, awkwardly. For real, I forgot about the deal just a moment after we departed back then. 

"I didn't forget about it! Of course, I am a man of my words! It's just, I'm busy and have no time to go to school and deal with it! " 

Of course, I would never say to her blatantly that I forgot it. Sometimes, although it ain't good to lie and won't ever be good, there are situations where we have to lie to gain something or to hide something from others. We are humans, sometimes we are lying. Very common. 

"Is that so?! "

She squint's her eyes as she looks at me, trying to discern if I am telling the truth.

Of course, I also show as innocent expressions as possible.

Although she's still pouting, I can feel that it got lessened. 

Fortunately, it works. 

"Of course. Why would I lie to you? As beautiful as you are, even a professional scammer will find it difficult to hide something from you! " 

To make her anger vanish completely, after telling a lie, I made sure to flatter her. 

I may not be good at words sometimes, but there are some situations where I have to generate hidden abilities.

I am dying of curiosity, so I have to do this, though embarrassing. 

I am laughing at myself, inwardly.

"P-please don't lie to me! I... I am not that beautiful! " 

She covers her face in embarrassment, then complains. 

However, although she said that, the small smile on her face is so big that it could touch both sides of her ears. 

Weird ass... She really is a tsundere.

"I am not lying! I am the most trustworthy person that you could find on earth! " 

Hehe! Actually, I don't know what I am saying! 

"I-if you say so, then I'll believe you for once! " 

Opposite from her attitude a while ago, she turns into a young girl who got what she yearns for and now beaming. 

Her two index fingers are touching each other below the table as she keeps her eyes on the floor. 

I can see red clouds on her face... 

I can even imagine smoke evaporating above her head.

After a while of explanation. 

I finally got the gist of it. 

Jasmine really is a good friend. She knows everything that is happening in this academy. Based on her intelligence, there is an online forum of the Academy, and in this forum, you can announce anything you want. 

A week ago, since I stopped coming to school, an anonymous individual sent an announcement that he was asking to have a duel with me. And for the time and date, it said that once I come back to the Academy, means; I am accepting the duel and we will do a battle two days after, in the academic arena. 

No name has been written in the announcement and no one can tell other than higher-ups of the Academy. Anyway, the Academy higher-ups won't tell. Everyone only knows the anonymous individual for the nickname Anonymous Mage.
