1 Prologue

"You're a cold-hearted...," Kai said as Freia smiled faintly. No one was her match in this industry. She was the fastest that the organisation ever had. They had taken many years to train her to be who she was anyway.

"You trained me to be that way, K. I'm just repaying you what you taught me to be," Freia uttered. Her knife was on his throat and she drew blood. Kai smiled thinly without mirth, "Very well. As it is, then. We're quits."

He said just as Freia pushed the blade through his heart.

Almost as soon he had collapsed unto the ground, the sky turned a devastating shade of red. It was almost as though all hell had broken loose. The winds howled and the trees swayed dangerously. Lightning struck and thunder roared.

What tf is going on? One tree fell and Freia jumped out of the way just as the skies opened and two figures appeared.

"I told you she's just going to be a stupid little brat, doing the same thing to Him over and over again," the girl with the furry wings complained to her companion as she shot Freia a disapproving look.

"Poor Master, after all that trouble...," the guy with the peculiar appearance said. Freia nearly wanted to run away then and there as he had the body of a healthy young man but a mask for a face. They carried Khai quickly away and almost as soon as they had appeared, they disappeared as quickly as they had appeared. Calm and experienced in all sorts of danger as she was, Freia could not shake the spooky feeling that she had gotten herself into some sort of deep trouble. Almost as soon as she thought that, a bolt of lightning struck her and she collapsed unto the ground.
