1070 Rewatching

Apparently rewatching movies is something a lot of people regularly do. I'm not talking about watching a movie a second time because it's been a while and you've forgotten the plot. What I'm talking about is rewatching a movie well over 5 times.

Unless the movie is truly perfect, aren't you just going to notice more inconsistencies with each rewatch potentially lowering your opinion of the movie? Why not just leave it as a fond memory?

Humans also have this issue called limited lifespans which give them a very limited amount of time to work with. Thus each rewatch eats away at their time budget.
