186 Reading

Reading is a very important part of our everyday lives. Without the reading skill, we wouldn't be able to pass on information to future generations as efficiently and most of our collected knowledge would disappear. Although we could replace the wording on songs with pictures, it still wouldn't be nearly as efficient as plain words.

A sub branch of the reading ability, is the ability to concentrate on what your reading under any circumstances. Sadly this ability is language specific and even if you are able to concentrate whilst reading English, you might not be able to whilst reading using another language.

The English language already has very few letters in comparison to most languages, but the East Papuan language, Rotakas, trumps that with a meager 12 letters.
