Boss is a Bandit!

'80 Points...This was 80 points!'

Xi Lian couldn't understand how she could've gotten so lucky this time, she really just randomly chose the card under hand when she heard footsteps. Could it be...she obtained god's approval?

She laughed silently in the corner and wondered if her tag was actually just a small amount of points, and if there were tags with a much larger number. After all, 80 points might just be a drop in the ocean for higher ranks otherwise they wouldn't have bothered to come to point events.

She tried observing everyone's expression once they flipped over their tag, and more and more people came in as time passed. The tags disappeared one by one, and soon they were all gone. The thirty minutes were also up. Cheng Tu was able to take the last tag while Bao Bao couldn't make it to the tent.

Cheng Tu joined Xi Lian in the corner and showed her his tag with an excited look on his face.

He whispered, "Boss Lian, I got twenty points. How much did you get?"

Xi Lian covered the tag with her palm and angled it so that only they could see, quietly saying, "Eighty points."

Cheng Tu have a small thumps up and grinned, "Boss Lian never ceases to amaze me, you might become purple rank soon."

Xi Lian didn't say anything else and only gently smiled. At this time, men in black brought in a few speakers.

The assistant principal's voice came on, "HoHo, I heard from my fellow friends that quite a large number of you have made it to the second mile mark. I wish I could see the faces of some of you guys, haha. One of the tags has eighty points, the highest amount, and a few of the tags has one point, haha."

Indeed, when Xi Lian looked around there were many darkened faces. Still, her tag having the highest amount shocked her and shocked Cheng Tu. She had to pinch him in order to keep him quiet, making him "Welp!" instead.

"Anywaysssss, the second and final round of this event is easy. For the remaining one and a half hour, you're free to steal the tags from everyone else. When the time is up, you just have to scan the tags you've with your badges. For example, if you have a fifteen point tag right now and steal a five point tag later on, your amount of points will increase by twenty. Of course, if your tag gets stolen instead, you get nothing."

A click was heard, and the speakers shut off, revealing a dense amount of tension in the air. For the first few seconds, no one spoke and only sounds of shuffling by the men in black leaving were heard.

A purple-ranked junior was the first to speak, "Whoever has the eighty point tag, come out. As long as you give it up willingly, I'll let you go." A few freshmen looked at him in fear, and when the junior saw that no one was stepping out, he shoved a few freshmen, taking their badges.

When he checked that none of them had a high amount of points, all in the single digits, he threatened, "When I find whoever has the eighty point tag, I'll kill you."

The other juniors and seniors didn't care at all, and began doing the same. They targeted the weaker bunch, and fights began around the tent. The older and larger students would forcibly take away the tags of the scrawnier and younger kids, and when there was resistance, they would get horribly beaten up.

Probably out of pride, the boys didn't try to do anything to the girls, other than scaring them into giving their tags up. Some girls, however, did pick fights against the guys and between the girls. Sounds of smashing and yelling filled every corner of the room.

Xi Lian for now, hid under the tables just like the other girls that didn't dare to come out. She beckoned for Cheng Tu to hide with her, and once they were in the shadows so that even the other girls wouldn't be able to see what they were doing, she whispered, "Give me your tag."

Cheng Tu's mouth dropped open slightly, "You—-Boss Lian—-you want to steal my badge?" Disappointment flashes across his face before saying, "Boss Lian, I could have just given it to you when you asked, you didn't have to come over here..."

Xi Lian was exasperated, "Little Rabbit, I'm giving it back to you later, what are you thinking about?"

Cheng Tu's cheeks flashed pink, "Wha—-What do you mean?"

"Later someone's going to eventually find you, when that time comes then just tell him your tag got stolen. Even if he searches your entire body he won't find it."

Cheng Tu's cheeks became even more pink and his head tipped down in shame, "Sor—Sorry, I knew Boss Lian wasn't a bandit!" He hurriedly took out the tag in his pocket and handed it over to her.

"Ah, actually I am...a bandit..."

"Huh?" He looked at her confusedly but Xi Lian ignored him and placed the tags into the chest area of the undershirt she wore comfortably.

He looked agape and suddenly realized she didn't only place two tags inside...that area..."Boss—-Boss Lian, did I see wrong? I think you had four tags..."

"That's right! The two boys were busy fighting just now and didn't realize when I swiped them away."

Cheng Tu's look of realization turned into admiration and he cheered her on, "So...this is what you meant by you were a bandit...You're amazing!" When he looked out from under the table, he indeed saw the two boys fighting even more harshly, thinking that they each stole their badges away.

He was just about to crawl back into the shadows of the table when a foot descended onto his hand. "Ahh!" He cried out in pain.

The foot kept its place and pressed harder, making cracking sounds. Cheng Tu's clenched face and scrunched eyebrows revealed how much agony he was in. It took great difficulty for him to breathe out, "You—-You're stepping on my hand!"

A cold, deep voice revealed itself, "I know," before the foot moved away. The second Cheng Tu breathed a sigh of relief, the foot stomped down again. Cheng Tu cried once again in pain and his sweat dripped onto the shoe. A pair of hands grabbed onto his shoulders, and he was raised up away from the table.

Xi Lian crawled out from the shadows and looked up at Cheng Tu's attacker. The foot that stepped on Cheng Tu's hand belonged to a good-looking purple-ranked sophomore. The hands that were still clenched on Cheng Tu's shoulders, however, belonged to the well-built boy behind him.

"I don't have a tag! You don't have to attack me!" Cheng Tu yelled.

The good-looking young man replied tensely after another boy searched his body, "Even if you don't have a tag, you need to be taught a lesson."

"Wha—What? I didn't do anything, you've got the wrong person!"

The well-built sophomore laughed coldly, his voice even deeper than the suave young man's and said, "You were Zhang Wei's lackey yet you disobeyed him. Zhang Wei is under Boss Teng's command, so consider the owner before beating the dog."

"Bo—-Boss Teng?" Cheng Tu had round, frightened eyes, not daring to look at the purple-ranked sophomore called Boss Teng.

Xi Lian crawled out completely from the table this time and stood up, in front of Boss Teng and near Cheng Tu. Seeing a girl pop out of nowhere, they were all bewildered.

Her face was scrunched up and she stared at the purple-ranked sophomore, 'Could it be him? He does look a little similar...and they called him Boss Teng...'

The short boy dazedly looked at the girl, 'How beautiful...'

The well-built boy on the other side looked at her baffled, "....??? Who is this girl???'
