Xerxes Wants a Break

Xerxes awoke with a pain in his head and a ton of past memories. Mad Hatter was still with him but different it felt like a part of him. Mad Hatter was far more sinister than it used to be, it felt like destroying or rejecting everything. Its abilities had evolved into something far more sinister, instead of a plain simple chain killer, it could practically kill anything as long as he inflicted a fatal death wound.

He looked at the note which was attached to a wallet.

[Don't waste your second chance Break.]

He sighed before tilting his head in confusion. His I.D card showed his age as 17? He sighed as he figured it was something to do with his second chance. He blinked once and then twice only to realise "My left eye is back?" He chuckled in happiness before feeling the surrounding socket and laughing.

He grabbed his cane before walking off to start a much needed break in life.

Xerxes wants a break.

Xerxes smiled as he could finally take a break and live a peaceful life. This world was far different but he adjusted anyways. The technology was magnificent but he had his eyes for the new sweets and deserts. He looked in his vest pocket before pinching out a sugar cube and popping it into his mouth. He had finally managed to find a school with no uniform as he preferred to wear his usual attire.

The school loomed over him as he smiled before walking in to his designated classroom. "Hello I'm Xerxes Break but you can just call me Break." With that he sat down and started sleeping.

The teachers all hated him but couldn't do anything. He simply was a genius, fit, smart and weird? Or was it creepy? Anyways he got the alias Mad Hatter once again. He was nuts, well that was what most thought of him, he liked biting and chewing lollipops instead of sucking them. He practically only ate sweet stuff. One had to wonder how he survived all these years.

He only had a few suspicious of his true nature.

Xerxes sat at the cafeteria as he munched on a piece of caramel as he kept his usual smile on. Everyone watched as the amazing feat was about to begin as well. They kept their attention on him as he grabbed a plate of cheesecake before eating the whole plate before pulling it out to reveal a string of flags.

Xerxes smiled before leaving and heading back to his class. A stupid pervert came along before asking him "Hey, I've always wanted to ask but why do you keep a cane?" Xerxes smiled "What is a cane used for?" The pervert thought for a bit "Helping with walking issues?" Xerxes nodded "Or it's also used as normal fashion." Xerxes soon left and slept through the day as he woke up at night. It seemed that the fake janitor of the school had left a note for him. "I didn't want to wake you up seeing how well you're sleeping. Just lock the door as you exit."

Xerxes smiled as he got up and stretched as he yawned before grabbing his cane and walking out of the school only to hear sounds of fighting. He walked over to the sound before seeing two people clashing. One was dressed in red while the other was dressed in blue body tights.

Xerxes sighed as it wasn't his problem as he walked away only to hear the person in blue shout at him. Xerxes turned around before seeing a blood red spear heading towards his face as he tilted his head back a bit causing a bit of his hear to be cut. His wine red eyes glowed in the dark as he smiled ad the man.

"Oh my! Is there something wrong with my eyes? Or did I just see someone attempting to kill me?" The man in blue spun his spear around before trying to hit Xerxes with the blunt end only for him to twirl to the right.

Rin was hiding while she looked at Archer before asking "Is that a servant?" Archer shook his head "No that's a human. He isn't a magus either."

They watched as Xerxes dodged each attack with incredible swiftness.

Cu saw an opening as Xerxes blinked, he thrust Gae Bolg in an attempt to take his heart only for Xerxes to reveal a blade hidden in his cane. His eyes opened to reveal two wine red eyes gleaming in the dark.

Cu jumped back as he got exited. Xerxes looked at the bloody red spear in a slight new light as he could tell it was dangerous.

Everyone felt a huge chill run down their spines as they watched Xerxes call for his chain.

"Mad Hatter!"

Mad Hatter appeared as a giant top hat with flowery decorations and cards with a pocket watch dangling, under the hat with the cloak as a background was one red gleaming eye.

The feeling of that entity was sinister as Cu threw his spear "Gae Bolg!" Xerxes looked at Mad Hatter as the eye twitched before rejecting whatever was happening. Cu widened his eyes as he realised that his spear had stopped and dropped onto the floor with a clanking sound.

Xerxes smiled as Mad Hatter faded out of existence, the sounds of his footsteps echoed as he left the battlefield with a smile.

"Looks like I'll have to postpone my break."
