Chapter three a power burn within
Xenovia pov
See their leader's head fall to ground as he turns into dust. They all charge at Xenovia.
Seeing this I dodge very quickly and lead them to the back house once there I start to create magic circles. Time to use what I learn from the book in real practice by quickly launching lightning at one of them, killing him and instantly jumping into the backyard.
A devil with a scythe tries to cut my arm off, dodge it by a hair's pin, quickly sidestep him and slash his back with the dagger. Roll forward as the next devil slams down his hammer, try to splatter me, dash around him, get behind him, cross cutting him with the sword and dagger with the blow landing end him in an instant.
Not paying attention and getting a deep slash on my back from a sword making me spit out blood, tumble forward and get into a crouch position holding both blades in a cross motion. Ignore the pain, but a voice tells me "not to bow for they are weak".
Just agree with it, feeling a burning sensation. I just dash forward as the feel of a flame grows bright and more powerful in me. Appearing before the devil with the sword cut his arms off caused him to scream in pain. Since the holy power in these weapons most likely feels like being hit by an atom bomb. Jump behind him and cut his head from his neck.
The devil with the scythe gets behind me and tries to cut my head off. Feel the wind around me clearly enraged for the attempt on my life. Just trust the feeling I roll to the side as the wind blasted him back and get into a proper stance for myself. Quickly dash forward, finally feel the flame at its apex. I take a deep breath and blast out rainbow color flames with my breath the flames get increased by the rage wind. Set the devil on fire and kill him instantly.
Taking a deep breath realized that I am getting tired but no hope of a break with more devils appearing.
With an ultimate class devil among them say "they die to a little girl and one of them was a high class, pathetic you lot kill her quickly while I enjoy the show".
This devil summons a float chair, summons popcorn and sits down to my annoyances, starts to eat the popcorn.
A group of twenty devils fly down at me now.
I am injured and weakened, it is still going to take my mother at least an hour to get back even though she has been warned about what happened so I steel myself. That voice again said "don't worry you have the power to surpass these filthy weaklings".
With this strange light and divine feeling take over me just take another breath as I start to feel stronger and better. They all fire magic at me to make me create a magic barrier knowing it will not last more than a few seconds. Dash to my right with the barrier crashing down and a smoldering crater taking its place.
They think I am dead. I use the wind to jump up and use the dagger to support my power. So I use the surrounding wind pump into the dagger and breathe out rainbow flames to increase its power making a small fire tornado in my hand. Launch an attack at them.
Before they realized that I was still alive. Quickly slice ten times in a quick session, hit the group and burn most of them away. Leave about six alive but severely damaged from the attack. Use the wind to boost my speed, dash forward with my weapons, slice three of them down with the remaining three charges at me. Two of them make a magic circles and see that I create ten of my own pointing towards them, blast ice at them in the form of icicles and pierce one of them.
The other devil launches lightning at me and uses the wind again I knock it away. The last devil charges at me with a bo staff and launches an attack to my side, making a small barrier of wind make the staff go back a bit. Turn my body quickly around and slash at the devil in front of me to kill him.
The last devil appears behind me and stabs a dagger into my back and I spit out blood again. Turn the wind into a spear, pierce him in the heart and kill him. Pull the dagger out, cough and feel weaker again. Though that strange light and divine feeling is near its apex like with the fire and wind before it.
Hear a lot of clapping with a devil laugh and say "that was impressive from a three year old child, to be honest with you if you were not my enemy, I would offer to make you into one of are kind. Sadly it is not meant to be. Now let me introduce myself. My name is Kane Lucifer. I may be from the branch family of the lucifer. Though I still believe in the original beliefs of my father, king of the devils. Even if he has softened over the years. So I will make this death somewhat painless for you since you entertain me".
He erases the chair. Dash forward and slam his fist into my stomach and start to beat me with various punches and kicks and send me flying back. With my sword being broken by him he picks it up and crushes it. clutch on the dagger for my life though I am laying on the ground since he turned me into a blood mess. Using some of my remaining magic power to heal my body back to a decent state.
The fire burned in my eyes and the voice said "don't worry just imagine something and say create".
The light and divine feel at its apex and a serpent swallowing its own tail tattoo appear on my back, unknown to me at this time. A bright smile on my face with Kane appeared before me with a lightning blade in his hand saying "this is your end little one".
In my voice full of pride "create chains"!
As they wrap around him and with my free hand make motions that slam him all around the backyard. Finally pull him at the speed of light, stab him with my dagger, wrap my fire around him but instead of dying he disappears at last sec.
See a nearly dead man Kane scream "this not over girl"!
With my final move I sent the cross at him with a chain jab into one of his open wounds. He hissed and then He disappear from my sight. Feel all the remaining strength leave me. I drop to the ground coughing up blood and the voice says "good job little one".
My whole world gets dark. Reawaken to see that I am wrapped in bandages, look around, see I am in my mother's room on the bottom floor. I wonder what that voice was? It seems to be helping me. What was that weird power I had? Try to sit up more, notice it hurts alot, decide to let myself fall back down. Prevent further pain from happening.
Now lay on my back trying to piece together what happened before. Though since I don't know how much time has passed before passing out. for a while now take a deep breath in and out think.
What is going on? Not only have my Dreams been getting weird for a long time now. Wait what if this is why I got those weird powers during the fight. That would make sense but it is still weird that I get power from a dream.
Shake my head and realize I am an idiot. This is a world filled with supernatural beings so I should not be surprised about it. See I am still tired going back to sleep and waking up again. Clearly at night see the light from the moon in the room.
Look down, see that both of the girls are in their cat form and curl up on me. Petting both of them and seeing their ears twitch a bit was a nice sight. Take a deep breath in and out and think how will I explain this to mom. Well that is a worry for later since I need to get rest from this let my mind wander and go back to sleep.
In a dark place a voice with a hiss sound of a tongue says "she is truly worthy of being my partner. Sadly I have let the merger finish before we can even talk to each other again, but this is going to be a very interesting and fun time for me. I can't wait.

Why did this have to happen? I am proud of her for defeating that many middle to high class devils at her age. Though she should be allowed to train, get stronger and have a childhood too since she is only going to get it once.
I just wish her mother was here and that she would be able to help her so much more than me. Though trust me my old friend, if I can get that deadbeat and have his neck within grab reach I will kill him.
Walk out of the room and close the door and enter the living room. With that angel waiting on me she had blonde hair, crimson eyes and a body that would be the envy of all women. Wear a simple white dress with a golden necklace on her neck and the red gem in it glow brightly.
Sit down across from her.
"So why are you here lady Gabriel".
she smiles
Gabriel answers back "simple to give xenovia an offer that all plus I think she needs it after last month's events".
Seeing that smile I honestly wanted to deck her right in the face but keep her calm.
"we will see if Xenovia wants it at all. Am I making myself clear? "
Gabriel smiles back and says "of course".
Next time will xenovia be able to walk will we find out what those powers are and what is Gabriel's plan, found out on all new chapter of Xenovia Quarta the goddess of creation.
