Chapter one a …..? And two ….?

A three year old girl was playing with a toy. She had blue hair with a green streak in it with brown eyes. She was wearing a white shirt with brown short pants and her choice of footwear was small boots. This is Xenovia Quarta. She was waiting for her caretaker to come back.

She knows that her caretaker is not her real mother after all they look nothing alike but she still wishes she was around more in her life. She walk into the bathroom. She already can use the toilet and she can speak and read both Latin and English pretty well.

She is trying to learn Japanese, Spanish and Italian right now and it is slow but there is progress. she seems to have begun to develop an eidetic memory with Afterimages and an autobiographical memory means there is nothing she can't remember no matter what.

It is actually very irritating for her but she still has to learn things but once she does she never forgets to point she hates the saying an elephant never forgets. She tries to learn to put up with it and make her foster mother being gone even harder on her.

She returns to a small library and starts to read some books on religion since her foster mother is an exorcist. She knows about the supernatural because of this but since she is a woman of the church, she has to be careful around other supernatural beings since they don't know if she has a sacred gear or not.

They do know she is a natural holy sword welder since accidentally picking one up a month back and handing it to her foster mother. It was a nice discovery that she has now been doing the basic drills of swordsmanship lately. Since they want her to have the basics down by time she has at least five since that when she is going to be taken to the church to become an exorcist officially.

Thanks to her memory all she has to do is get the experience with it and she will set. Close the book she walks out into the backyard. Start to do her drills and spend about three hours until she finally gets done and put down the wooden sword. walk into the house and take a quick bath.

She is lying in the bath and a vision of a snake-like creature pops into her head. It is a long white and black serpent. That seems never ending. This is her guess with blue highlights surrounding its body in a unique pattern that makes yin-yang signs and weird symbols as well.

She has not found it in any book and is trying to figure out what it is and what the symbols are, to be honest thanks to her memory every time she sees this it bugs the ever living heck out of her. She does not know why she has been having these visions lately but it has helped her get through the boring days without her foster mother around.

She has been trying to think of her more as a mother lately, calling her as such now. Only in her thought is she the foster mother. Get out of the bath and remember what she has to do while her foster mother is away going outside to the front yard. to a small patch of land where they grow their fruits and vegetables since it is cheaper that way. Thanks to magic, as long as they properly take care of and replant they last long and grow quicker. She waters the final ones as she finishes she hears a noise in the nearby woods.

Xenovia pov

Take a deep breath, grab the wooden sword that was nearby and walk towards the noise to see a large black cat hold a small white cat in her paws. I walked up to them. The black cat hissed at me but was clearly weak, used a heal spell and healed them both up and the black cat looked at me.

I smile "why not come home with me I will keep you safe for now".

The black cat nodded at me so I picked up the white cat into my arms and the black cat jumped on my head. I began to walk into the house, place the white cat on a pillow and let the black cat snuggle up to white cat.

Walk into the kitchen, make a bowl of water, and bring it to the cats. Turn back around and dice up some fish we have into little bite sized pieces and place it on a plate.

"this for you two just stay here and I will get a small blanket for both of you".

Walk away from the living room going up stairs to my bedroom, walk into it and take two small blankets and walk back down. Both cats had already eaten the food and were drinking the water very happily. Walk over to the couch and lay out two blankets one was white and blue the other was black with red on it.

The white cat took the white blanket and Black one took the black blanket. I made sure to clean up the plate I use.

walk out the living room "if you want to find me I will be in my room upstairs, its first door to your right and if not there I will be in the bathroom and it's ok to show your true form. I sense it early so you can be more comfortable later".

Both cats nod their heads and I walk up to my room. I decided to read a Spanish language book. Since that was the closest one I have to finish right now next to Italian. While I study both the cats down below talk.

The white cat says "big sis Kuroka are we going to be alright".

The black cat, Kuroka, says "of course Shirone".

(aka Koneko this is her real name Shirone for those who don't know).

Kuroka licks her paws and says "if she wanted to kill us like those devils for refusing their offer she could have done it. She heals us though and thanks to that I believe we should do the oath tomorrow".

Shirone nods and says "I agree".

While I was sleeping I had that dream. It was that snake or serpent again. While I thrash around multiple times it speaks but I can't understand it but I think it is Nahuatl language. It dances in the sky, reaches what seems to be the heavens and comes back down.

See a new flash happen, see a fight between dragons and this being.

Another new change to see a small girl in weird clothes say "it seems that you are very powerful enough to even defeat me so I ask you this why do you fight".

The being answer and for the first time I could understand it speaking in a voice say "I don't fight I wish to remain neutral but all beings in creation seem to only know violence so that is my answer".

The little girl says "ok then how about I give you this inreturn one day you will find a partner in this world".

See a weird magic circle with an infinity in it appear, I bolt up sweat bullets, realize I am very filthy, get up and wash myself and walk down to the living. See the cats still asleep make breakfast for us even though I can't do much I do my best. Seeing the food and its lovely aroma, cats came to the counter near the kitchen.

Place down a plate of grilled fish for them and they eat it happily. While I had scrambled eggs with some bacon and a glass of orange juice.

Once finished the black cat said "my name is kuroka and this my little sister shirone we thank you for helping us".

nod they then turn into a girls see the black cat girl at least six. If I am guessing right, the white girl looks between two or three. They both wear shrine clothing with their cat ears and tails out, they walk up to me, kuroka kisses my right hand and shirone kisses my left.

say at the same time "we now recognize you as our only master".

After that a quick flash happened and I felt magic but not one I am used to and not mine to realize what they did look at them.

"you enter a familiar contract with me".

They both nod and I look at them bewildered and say "why would you do that?".

Kuroka spoke up "simple I can tell your good person plus all this holy energy will help keep us safe from the devils that are after us".

I sigh and say "ok there is nothing I can do about it but I need to talk to my mother about this".

just then a voice says "why yes you do my little Xenovia".

my only thoughts are that I am a dead well birth mother. I will be with you in heaven very shortly.
