Lynx Hoshimoto is a royal demon prince whose life was pretty normal until one faithful day. An asteroid threatened his planet until his mother sacrificed herself to save the planet and her two sons, Lynx and Onyx Hoshimoto. After that faithful day, nothing was the same anymore; later on, his father caught a severe illness that cost him his life. The last words Lynx heard from his father was that he was next in line to become king of the planet Xenofia. While this was happening, Onyx overheard and became jealous. In an act of anger, he went to war with Lynx, and unfortunately, Lynx died. But after Onyx killed him, he wanted more than to become king of his planet. He wanted to become a god. And to do that, he searched for elemental orbs, which, when all were collected it would grant him the power of a god. After Lynx died, his soul managed to live on and was able to move away from the planet he was on. Later, he was reborn as a regular villager, Lucifer Harayama. A few years go by, and he's 18 years old, and he decides to go to the village carnival, but as he exits his house. A shiny orb came across his path and went to the forest. Lucifer, curious, decided to follow. When he found the orb, he decided to grab it, and all hell broke loose. Lucifer reunites with his past life, Lynx, and is now threatened by his past life twin brother, Onyx. The only way to defeat Onyx is with all the elementos, so he goes on an adventure with his best friend Kris and an old-time friend from his past life. As they go on their adventure, they meet new allies and enemies.
On the war-torn plains of Exfodia, beneath a darkened sky, two warriors faced off. The battlefield was littered with shattered rock formations and scorched earth. The air trembled with raw energy as Lynx—bloodied, exhausted—struggled to rise from the ground. His breath was ragged, his body bruised, his power nearly depleted. A gust of wind carried the echoes of distant voices. "Lynx! Please, don't give up! You can win this!" A small group stood at the edge of the battlefield, their eyes filled with desperate hope. Lynx clenched his fists, his hands trembling—not from pain, but from the weight of their belief in him. A faint smirk formed on his face. He reached for the hilt at his side. In a flash of radiant energy, a blade materialized in his grip—a weapon forged from pure will and energy. He pointed it at his opponent, Onyx, who stood several feet away, shrouded in a sinister, crackling red aura. "Onyx, this isn't you! He's controlling you!" Lynx shouted, his voice laced with both anger and desperation. "Snap out of it! I know you can fight this!" For a brief moment, Onyx's expression flickered—something almost human beneath the malice. But then, he grinned, baring his teeth. "The Onyx you knew is dead." His voice was deeper now, laced with an unnatural resonance. "This… is who I was meant to be. And now, you will die." A pulse of red energy exploded from Onyx's body, distorting the air around him. His form twisted, his muscles expanded, and in an instant, he was no longer human. A demonic bull stood in his place, its black horns wreathed in purple lightning. The ground beneath it cracked and burned, its mere presence warping reality.
Lynx's heart pounded in his chest. His energy reserves were nearly drained, and even his sword—the last extension of his will—was beginning to flicker. He gritted his teeth, trying to summon more power, but his body refused to respond. Onyx's voice rumbled from within the monstrous form. "Such a shame… I thought we could have ruled together. But you forced my hand." He tore a massive chunk of earth from the ground and hurled it straight at Lynx. Lynx's breath hitched as the colossal boulder rushed toward him. He shut his eyes. "I'm sorry… everyone. I couldn't save you. I… wish I could have done more…" Then, silence. The battlefield was still.
Two Months Earlier…
The village of Varun sat nestled on the outskirts of Exfodia's Western Woodlands, its cobbled streets and warm lantern glow a stark contrast to the chaos Lynx would one day face. Here, a boy named Lucifer lay sprawled in his bed, tangled in his sheets, snoring softly. That peace didn't last long. "LUCIFER!" A sharp voice jolted him awake, sending him tumbling off the bed. He groaned, rubbing his head as he glared toward the doorway. His mother stood there, arms crossed, tapping her foot impatiently. "That's one hell of a wake-up call, Mom," Lucifer mumbled as he squinted at the clock. 9:00 AM. He groaned again. "It's barely morning…" His mother arched a brow. "You stayed up all night again, didn't you?" "Wha—no! I just… lost track of time." They stared at each other for a long, awkward moment. "Uh-huh." She tossed him a small bag of coins. "Go to the town fair. Get some fresh air. And while you're at it, fetch some water from the lake." Lucifer sighed but took the money. "Fine. But I don't spend that much time gaming." Another long stare. "I'm going, I'm going."
The walk to town was peaceful—until it wasn't. A sudden, powerful gust of wind swept through the trees, almost knocking Lucifer off balance. Leaves scattered, the air crackled with energy. Then, something strange—a glowing blue orb shot past him, vanishing into the forest. Lucifer frowned. "What the hell was that?" His mother's errand was quickly forgotten. Curiosity overpowered caution as he veered off the path, stepping deeper into the woods. The deeper he walked, the heavier the air became.
Then, a voice. "Lynx… Lynx… you are the chosen one." Lucifer froze. His skin prickled. "Who's there?" His voice was steady, but his hands weren't. Before he could react, the blue orb reappeared, hovering inches from his face. The voice grew louder, its words repeating over and over. "Lynx… Lynx… you are the chosen one…" Lucifer's pulse hammered in his ears. "Why do you keep calling me Lynx?" He reached out, compelled by something beyond reason. The moment his fingers brushed the orb— A searing pain shot through his body. His eyes start to glow white. The ground trembled. The lake water rose into the air, defying gravity. The very air shook with unseen power. Lucifer screamed from all the pain. Suddenly everything goes back to normal, everything just drops from the air and Lucifer passes out.
When he awoke, he wasn't in the forest. He lay in a grand stone chamber, draped in royal banners. The scent of burning candles and aged parchment filled the air. Lucifer sat up, disoriented. Where am I? He staggered to his feet, wandering through dimly lit corridors. Paintings of royal figures lined the walls. Then, one portrait caught his eye. His breath hitched. It was him. But not him. Before he could process it, a sudden crash echoed down the hall.
Lucifer ran toward the noise, his heart pounding. He burst into a throne room, where a man lay on the floor, coughing up blood. Lucifer's entire body went cold. He knew this man. "Father!" The dying man turned to him, weakly grasping his arm. "Lynx… my son… you must… protect the kingdom… promise me…"Lucifer's breath shuddered. "Dad…?" The man's grip loosened. His body went still. Lucifer screamed. A cold, ominous voice whispered behind him. "So… you're next in line. Lucifer turned. "What's wrong with you Onyx?" Onyx suddenly snapped and his aura shook the room. "I don't know… maybe it's the fact that you get to be THE NEXT KING!.. WHY YOU?!? It should have been me… You're just a whiny piece of shit… But our shit of a father decided to go with you…" Lucifer gets angry from what Onyx is saying to him. "Don't talk like that about our father… He knows best." Suddenly Onyx's energy explodes. "OH DOES HE NOW LYNX?.. Then he should have known how pathetic and weak you are…" Onyx starts to emit a red blade from his hand, as this is happening Lucifer is confused and says to Onyx "Onyx?.." Onyx suddenly rushes and stabs Lucifer in the heart. The last word we hear from him is "ONYX!!!".
Lucifer jolted awake in the forest, gasping for air. His hands trembled. His chest ached where the blade had pierced him. But it had just been a dream… hadn't it? He looks up into the sky and sees that it is getting dark. Lucifer then goes into a panic. "Wait!!! It's already dark?!?! How long did I pass out for?!? I didn't even get the water my mother wanted!!!" He rushed over to his house to go get some buckets to pick up the water.
Meanwhile, somewhere above Exfodia's galaxy, a ship loomed in the void. On the ship, there is someone running to the command center. The person suddenly stops in front of a greater figure who is sitting looking in front of a monitor. Suddenly they start saying to the greater figure "Boss?…". The greater figure turns off the monitor and puts it to the side. Two red eyes appear and they look at the person. "What is it, Minion?" Minion starts to tremble a bit but replies. "We have found strange power signals coming from a planet in section 17-Z green. The planet is called Exfodia." Suddenly the greater figure in the chair stands up and walks to a window near the command center. He looks at the window. "Exfodia?.. Interesting… Set course for that planet immediately… I think we found what we were looking for." He then grins and says out loud "After all these years… I may have found something not even my father or brother Lynx could find… An Elemento".
