Chapter 4

Xenon's POV

I watched that woman again from my home. I was just getting up from my seat when it suddenly shouted loudly because of a kind of pineapple -shaped monster in front of her.

"Help! Help!" I heard its cry from afar. My power grows stronger because of her. I'm even more excited but why do I feel this way for this woman? I also feel pity for her. Like, I didn't want her to be killed or just hurt by this monster.

"Why don't you help her?" asked me by the little twinkle just next to me.

"If you're the one who help her." I said sarcastically to this little thing.

"If I only have a strong power like yours, why not?" she said. I just ignored her again. What will I gain if I help her? I would be more blessed if I didn't help her either. I turned around but before I could get away from where I had been before I flew to where she was. What are you doing, Xenon? What have you gotten in your mind?

When I got to where she was, I immediately rained sharp objects that were shaped like my wings on the monster. I also gave Copper protection to avoid the sharp objects I released.

"Xenon, Devera's daughter." it yielded to me. As deep as the crowned leaf that rests on his head is how sharp it looks at me now.

"I'll pierce your eyes when you don't leave my territory." I threaten it. If it was maybe its opponent and it told me that thing I would laugh. Is it the amount of its eyes that surround his face. If it was that, I can do it because I have the power to release sharp objects with just my wing, It will not be difficult and in just a few seconds I am sure when I do that this monster is done in my hands.

It just stared at me wickedly after I said that.

"We're not done yet." he said and then released Copper whom he had been holding before.

It just disappeared suddenly in front of the two of us so I felt good that the woman was just staring at me now.

I just stared at her for a long time. I was about to leave when she suddenly called me.

"Xenon!" I was just distracted because of that. It smiled at me loosely.

"Why?" I ask her.

"Can we talk?" its question. I descended from heaven and landed on the earth. I don't know why I feel this way for her. What's this?

She immediately approached me and then hugged me. "Thanks a lot." it whisper. Xenon? Her boyfriend is Zed. Her boyfriend is the friend you killed a decades ago.

She let go of her hug from me and I was just surprised when she suddenly kissed me on the lips.

I pushed her all of a sudden to do that thing out of panic. What is she doing to me?

"I like you." she said as she stared at me with mixed sincerity in her eyes. What is this? This woman seems to be fooling me.

"Copper!" Zed or Tan shouted at her in shock when she saw her girlfriend sitting on the floor. Tan immediately approached her with mixed concern.

"Are you okay babe?" he asked her girlfriend as she stood up. As usual he was still tender. What is this going on in my story? Why is it like this?

"You really are a monster!" it shouted in front of me as Copper finally got up from her seat on the floor.

Tan picked up a thick stick and then it approached me and hit me with the stick he was holding.

"Why did you live!? You monster will die!" its scream as it continues to slap me. Well, I really deserved it. In the past decades, I regret killing him. I killed my best friend who loved me so much.

I just let him do that thing to me until Copper himself stopped it.

"Babe, that's enough. It's my fault." I heard Copper say to him. Tan stopped immediately when he heard that.

"I want her babe, okay. So please stop hitting her. I'm not happy with us anymore. I feel like something is missing. I feel like I haven't wanted you since I saw her. I feel like I want that girl." I was also surprised by what it said. Tan was released from his wooden handle and backed away.

"Babe, what are you talking about? Has this demon turned you around?" he said while he's pointing his fingers on me. The look on his face was what he couldn't believe he had learned from Copper.

He looked at me and then glared at me.

"It's all your fault!" he says angrily to me.

"You will pay for this!" it growled before it picked up the thick wood that he had been holding before and then it hit me one after another.

I could do nothing but accept every blow it inflicted from my body until he was tired of beating me.

"Have you seen what you've done? Because of your hasty decision making everything look like this, I hope you were happy." I stared at him intently after I said that word.

"But I really like you Xenon." promise it again.

"Believe me." she added. I just ignored it and waved my wing to fly into the sky as it continued to stare at me. I have no intention of listening to that one again. I don't want to listen to people's lies like my Mother did.

I don't want them to just say that it's because they want to play with me. I know and accept to myself that I am bad but is it my karma necessary in that way? He hurt someone I love, Zed who is now in the personality of Tan. How am I going to play with him when I'm already a loser? How?
