18 The fight between Jirou and Kalino(POV of The Elder/Noshemute),a talk with god, and Jirou’s gift.

This speech of mine will suffice, now it's up to Jirou to end this. Even with my influence, he still wants to fight this pup. Why though, he doesn't have the potential you do.

(He's doing very well, he had a couple ups and downs but he's doing alright for the most part, right now he's fighting another of his species, whom I believe won't attain much as he already has issues with his mana)

{I see, well keep me updated on everything since I wanna know if I made the right choice on this. I just had another from his world whom wanted to be a dog so much just get killed by his "owner" who he bit by accident without realizing that he was next to him. Out of anger the "owner" put him down with his own blade. The wife and child are sad but the lil guy already passed on, I'm still determining where to send him. He has 2 more lives in this realm before he goes to another. Any ideas on where to do with him?}

*to the fight*

Jirou and Kalino both look at each other and wait for The Elder's go. While they're waiting, Jirou gets told to wait for a bit in his head and Kalino gets a question asked to him mentally. Afterwards, Kalino's horn grows back and is a little bit more curved then his original one, then they get back to their fighting spots before Noshemute gives the go ahead for the fight.

"Go!"

Both of them speed forward at top notch, going sword to sword in a fight that looks like two masters fighting it off as their swords are literally extensions if themselves, giving them mastery over their blades.

This went on for roughly 20 hits before Jirou changed it up by hardening up his tail and tried using it to tail swipe Kalino a few times while sword fighting him. This put pressure on Kalino as now he had two things to deal with while only having one weapon to fight with.

With this pressure, he knew that he had to rely on his new move again but had to wait since Jirou was immensely more agile then Berreus, so he couldn't get a shot in as easily. Learning from his last battle, he started building up his mana during the battle and now had 3 things to pay attention to, which for him made him believe that it will be worth it in the end.

Jirou saw this and backed off, deciding to wait for it to happen. This confused Kalino, but he kept building up as it seems more that Jirou is tired from the onslaught that was given to Kalino. This allowed Kalino to aim his horn instead of free firing it like he did with Berraus.

He aimed at Jirou as he was moving around, hoping that Jirou wouldn't notice it, which Jirou did but didn't let it show since he didn't want to discourage Kalino from firing it and especially if he tries to stop now, he could kill himself with the pressure that was building up in front of his head.

Kalino built up the energy and finally got to the point even beyond what he had last battle so he acted like he would go to Jirou and attack but at the last moment, he dove under and got ready to let go of his horn again for a second shot.

Jirou saw this coming but let it happen as he had something in mind for it. Kalino shot his horn and Jirou dodged it with ease. Kalino couldn't see much due to the blood but hoped that he hit. What he didn't notice is that Jirou already started moving while using his magic water to grab the horn that was shot and pull it down to the arena again. He did this for two reasons; first off, the shot was going for The Elder so he didn't want The Elder to be annoyed ore possibly injured by this.

And second, he wanted to show/test his proficiency over his water after all this time of cultivation and strengthening over his water proficiency.

Kalino moved away since there was no screaming or grunting, he knew that he missed. He looked up to see his horn being shot back down to the arena. He wonders if it is the one from earlier but this one is the curved one that he grew earlier. He was shocked to see it comeback, then saw it land right next to Jirou who is circling it.

At that moment Kalino tried healing his wound but was barely able to do it since he was immensely fatigued from the fighting to shooting two horns out of his head as well as healing the holes. He went through a lot so he was definitely tired. He knew his defeat so he just swam out of bounds and Noshemute called it.

"THE WINNER IS JIROU, MY NEW PROPHET"

The crowd went wild as that was a fight that could rival the fight between their current leader and his second in command.

Kalino was ready to go to his family when Jirou called to him, "OI KALINO!! YOU COMING OR NOT?!" Kalino turned to see Jirou looking at him from about halfway to Jirou's family.

Kalino looked at his family and they nodded so he went to Jirou. They both went to Jirou's family and Jirou's father said, "welcome to the family Kalino. And Jirou, congratulations on being a prophet for our legendary guardian"

Jirou was very happy from what I see, afterwards he thanked them and came up to me.

"So we meet for the first time Elder, at least outside of our imaginations"

(So we do, I will keep talking in here as my actual voice would travel too much. Let's take our leave, my new prophet)

*back to sharky bro's POV*

I can't say it or even think it but I know that I am amazed to meet the elder for the first time. We start swimming away from the clan and I don't know where we are headed but I don't really want to ask since he looks so determined for some odd reason.

We keep going till we reach this piece of land that is protruding out of the ground all the way up to the surface of the water. There is a cave that looks a tad bit bigger then The Elder so he can get in and out without scraping on the sides, but I'd still be kind of a tight fit.

He heads in through the cave entrance with relative ease before I hear him again.

(Wait here for a moment, the mana is too thick for you inside. I will come right out, I have something for you)

I wait as I hear him swiveling around in the cave, looking for something. He stops and comes back out with something floating next to his head that looks an amethyst color and is glowing in the middle. The amethyst crystal looks dazzling as it looks like it couldn't have been made naturally.

Did you make that Elder?

(No, it was made by a friend. In it is something to help you in your journey)

Really? What is it?

(You'll find out in a bit, I see that you've improved your control over water. So grab the crystal and bring it to your head and leave it there for a moment)

I grab the crystal using my magic water and bring it up to my forehead, after a moment I feel something come into me from the crystal. After about half a minute, the crystal lost its middle glow and I hear a voice in my head.

"Hello, is anyone there?"

I'm lost as that didn't sound like telekinesis or the Elder. I head into my imagination and see a glowing orb, after I focus on it, it looks like another person. However, this guy looks like he hasn't even reached adulthood. He is definitely fit but he doesn't have the refinement of someone that has seen enough BS to be called an adult.

Hello comrade, how are ya?

The kid looks at me with confusion, "where am I?"

"My name was jacob, but my master named me Roddin, so I'll stick with Roddin"

I put my hand out, 'nice to meet you Roddin'

He grabs my hand and is still shaking.

Is there something wrong Roddin?

"I feel something watching me but I don't know what it is" he looks around looking concerned.

I believe that might be Elder watching our conversation, I'm probably just floating next to his cave so he must be checking to see if you were able to join my mind correctly, at least that's what I think after all.

(.....Sure, but prepare Roddin)

Ok Roddin. He looks towards me

The Elder is going to show himself to you, but be ready to see a massive leviathan that sorta looks like an ancient eel.

"Is...is he a friend?" He says in a low voice

Yes he is and one whom I owe my life to since he saved me multiple times and have been helping me ever since coming to this world.

Roddin feels a presence and turns to see the Elder in his entirety. This sends Roddin into shock, with him instinctively going behind me to hide. I move to the side and move my hands to act as if I'm presenting The Elder saying, 'this.....is The Elder'.

Roddin looks at me then The Elder and is slowly calming down but at the same time is giving me the most confused look I've ever seen.

I try my best to not laugh at the guys face cus I can tell that he's mentally unstable rn.

As I've said, this is The Elder. He has no reason to hurt us since he is the one who brought you to me, and he is the one who has been mentoring me while I am in this realm.

Roddin is looking at The Elder, trying to see the details in his scales but doesn't see much since The Elder isn't projecting himself completely, just the size and aura to show who he is.

(I am doing this for personal reasons so be sure to get along with him. someday when you get stronger, you can make a body for him to reside in as I am too weak currently to do so after all the energy needed to put him in the crystal)

Well Roddin, we are gonna be body buddies so it's best if we get along.

"Body buddies?" He looks back at me in confusion.

We are both in my body so chances are, we will both be making sure that my body stays alive until we can get you a body. So yea we are body buddies.

"That's interesting, but what will I do when I'm not using the body?"

I have a screen telling us what the details of our body is so I guess whoever isn't using the body is checking the screen more frequently then whoever is using the body, and telling the user if something changes in the screen that could effect the body's condition or tells the good news of something getting better.

So since I have more experience in this body, I'll use it first and you check up on the screen to see what we are and what can be done with this body, is this ok with you?
