24 24. Counter-attack

Friday went with lots of gossip but nothing serious, everyone was concerned about future Alpha. Not lots of people have met or seen him but who have, had serious stories about his look. Stories are a little exaggerated but not baseless.

Cody has lost lots of weight, his body temperature was high, his body is shivering, his body colour was too pale. And all of these above he is eating well for the last two day and still his condition is going bad.

Cody was restless, he wanted his divine smell at any cost, his wolf was too impatient. He decided to repeat the scenario, he ate soup, took a cold bath and two sleeping pills. They didn't work like last night but sleep came to him eventually. He decided to shop up on the weekend exercise and saw his divine smell. It's not enough but he has a plan for the evening.

In the morning Cody was there before everyone else, everyone was surprised seeing Cody's condition but no one reacted, All knows about transition and it's too hard on future alpha. Cody was looking like a ghost, Dale started feeling guilt, he knew wolf-bane could harm but he didn't use that much quantity.

Exercise went normal, when combat started, Cody came towards Dale's ring. Generally fighters have different stronger groups and they enter the ring late.

Dale was already in the ring and other opponents, Cody asked one of the members to let him replace him. He was too weak looking so no one questioned his appearance in the beginners ring. Everyone thought he wanted to get over with this combat early and it will be easy in the beginners ring.

Ruth was in the different ring, there was not anything suspicious so decided to fight in the fighters ring. Because, if John saw Ruth in the beginners ring too much he would react. That's why Ruth always judges the situation if there is no danger in the ring for Dale then she participates in the fighters ring. She can't change now, Cody planned this better.

Dale was terrified, Cody can beat him any day, he was ready for a broken body part also now. Combat starts, Dale was expecting an instant attack but it was the opposite. Cody protected Dale throughout the fight and Dale won, two more to go. Dale took time, he didn't want to rush, he decided to let future alpha play the first and after Cody's done, He will enter the ring. It will be hard, because he needs to fight against strong opponents but better than sharing a ring with future alpha.

Cody had different plans, he stood there steadily, he was not in the hurry now to enter in the ring so Dale decided to enter the ring. And when he was tenth to enter the ring so Cody can't come now. But Cody repeated his task, he asked one of the members to let him be replaced. This round also went like the last one Cody defended him and Dale both and they won again. Dale knows there is no point thinking anything, he knows Cody has a plan and it's working for him now so he decided to play along.

Ruth's first combat ended, she came near Dale and whispered, "How is going ?" And reached for a water bottle beside Dale.

Dale replied, "Nothing, all okay, He just may want an early escape from ground, that's why he is here nothing else."

Dale knows Cody has some plans but if Ruth gets suspicious then she will not leave him alone. Dale also has his plans so he doesn't want Ruth around when he encounters Future Alpha.

Third match also went the same. Cody and Dale have won the Three combats so now they can leave ground. Ruth was still in the second of her combat. She was part of the fighters ring so their combats are more serious and intense.

Dale was all done so he decided to freshen up and be the audience in Ruth ring. As he was walking toward the water tab he heard a whisper follow me.

Dale knew what was happening, He didn��t want to fight he was feeling guilty so he decided to speak. There was no crowd near the tab, Cody was walking away but Dale spoke in a little loud voice, "Can we talk?" Cody heard a voice take a few steps back and replied. "Follow me and we will talk "

Dale took a deep breath but didn't reply. He had all his belongings in his hand. He started to follow Cody, while walking he took out lotion and spread all over his exposing body like hands, neck face. His body was all sweaty, he had preferred washing first before applying lotion but he doesn't have that luxury now.

His plan was dangerous and risky. But decide to go through it. After applying lotion he takes out a little box out of his box. Cody wanted to punch dale but the burn was too serious, he collected vibes and started to clean but the burn was getting stronger by time. He run towards his room and decided to take a bath.
