23 23. Plan Success

Ruth is curious about the plan, but she doesn't want to sound too obvious, so she is asking questions very carefully. All was too quick, David came to her and in a few minutes his mobile rang and they came to the cafeteria. It's like Dale went and came, just like that. She was observing him, there were no bruises on his body, last time he tried to hide but Ruth saw. So this time she was searching for them again but all seems good.

Dale, "It was a total success. We can relax now."

Ruth, "It looks like that but still we need to be careful, He is alpha blood, he is going to fire back with double force."

Dale in his mind, 'You are reading my mind.'. Dale has thought about it, and he has an advanced plan also.

They walked home as usual, Dale was happy but he was nervous and in tension, Ruth recognized that, she guessed, Dale was doing something dark or illegal to control Cody. She knows Dale is capable, Dale is "the nerd", he has read every book from the library more than once and his father has access to restricted books so he started reading them from an early age. He was not human so he can go to his father's lab any time. His Grandfather is a healer, he studied werewolf secrets as a profession and he wants to pass it to the family, they talk these types of conversation at dinner and breakfast table. So Ruth knows he is more than capable.

Cody went home and directed to the kitchen, he took out a bottle from the fridge and started drinking. He knows the honey bottle place also. He took one more water bottle and went directly to his room and locked his room. Water was not helping with burn so he ate honey. Honey helped a little bit, honey can only help in the mouth, he had breath from his nose basically and his whole respiratory system was burning. He knows the solution, he needs to take steam with certain herbs. These herbs are rare and available for very few people. Pack has it's storage but he is not alpha yet and he can't get them without knowing anyone. Every werewolf knows, these herbs are used to treat wolf-bane, if he asked for those herbs then there would be big controversy. It will be like someone attacked future Alpha with forbidden weapon wolf-bane. And it will be very hard to control.

Cody has to endure this, He leaves from there in seconds so damage is not that bad but wolf-bane takes time to heal. He decided to take water steam. It may help and he asked Luna to cook soup. He ate soup early for dinner, and took two sleeping pills and a cold shower. He needs to sleep, rest is the only remedy he has for now. It was burning throughout, but he hid it well in front of Luna, Alpha not home yet. Surprisingly he slept, all his way worked, it's good.

He wakes up early in the morning, he can feel burning, it was not bad as yesterday but not any good as healed. He is Alpha and his healing power is too good but he is not in the right shape for the moment. He decided to not move from bed until he heard sound from the kitchen.

He came to the kitchen, when he heard Luna���s sound and asked for the soup again. He is not hungry for food but needs energy to heal. He decided to eat soup. The soup has lots of herbs and if you eat it very hot it will work as steam also, so there is a chance of healing fast.

After soup he went back to the room. He decided to not leave the house, his condition was worse now. Fewer, body shivering, dark circles, urges to meet his divine smell all was there and addition these burn. He was barely alive, and walking on his feet, he didn't have any energy to fight or answer questions, so staying at home is best and he needs to heal.

Next day was not any different for Cody, he ate soup for breakfast, lunch and dinner. He was healing but the burn was still there.

People start talking about Cody's disappearance and how transition is hard on him.

Dale started feeling concerned. If Cody went to hospital for treatment then anyone can diagnose the wolf-bane injuries and it will be over. He decided to do something he can take healing herbs from the father's lab, but the problem is, how can he give them to him. He decided to wait until the weekend.
