1 chapter 1: Savage
It was a hot afternoon, I was at Jordan's place and she suggested we go to the Cottage a new bar that just opened up and that pink was invited to perform so we went.
We were having fun till a group of weird looking people came in throwing knifes and I just froze all I could see were people running and some dyeing and Jordan fighting then she screamed "run!!!" But I couldn't I tried to but I just couldn't, Till they stabbed her and she fell looking at me I quickly unfroze and ran to her lifeless body I just lost my best friend.
They killed those who fought them and captured the rest as slaves, someone walked up to me and pulled me by the hair but I couldn't feel anything I was like a lifeless copes just moving. He pulled me all the way to Jordan's house, they had killed all Jordan's family and he pushed me to the ground bowing down and he said "my prince we found this one".
When I looked up I saw a young man standing in front of me he grabbed my right hand and pulled me then he picked up a compass, that's when everything came back to me and I realized what was going on.
"Where are you taking me to?" I asked with a weak but serious voice and he's reply was "Slaves don't talk till they are asked to".
I stopped walking and said "I rather die than be a slave."
He smirked and said "I like your spirit but you are my slave" and continued pulling me.
He took me to a room where a pretty girl was sited and ordered I take off my clothes.
"Why ?" I asked with an angry voice and he replied but with a more serious voice "do it now!!!", a bold and simple No was my answer that made him so angry he pointed the compass at my neck and I laughed and said "I'm scared oh so scary, dude I am not scared of death and knifes don't scare me and besides I can't take off my clothes even if I wanted to" putting on a sad face that wasn't from my heart.
"Why can't you?" He asked with the same scary look, "it's a girls thing I can't tell you" was my simple reply with my head bent then he pointed at the pretty girl.
"She's a girl tell her" he ordered so I went over to her whispered into her ear and she did the same to him, he then looked at me and went out of the room.
The pretty girl looked at me and asked "what is your name?".
" umm its Skylar and you?" She smiled then said "Nice name and I am Nika".
" Did they take you too?"
"No he didn't take me I am betrothed to him" she replied.
"WHAT!!!" I shouted with amusement.
"Shhhh don't let them hear you" she said.
"Okay, okay but I never knew people still do that and why did he want me to take of my clothes" I asked with a low voice, she smiled again but this time it was a sad one.
"So he could um... So he could get intimate with you" she replied.
"Holy mother of sandals he wanted to have sex with me!!!!!".
"Shhhhh and yes he did."
"Now that is just wrong where the hell is hell is he I'm gonna give him a price of my mind" I said.
"Don't he's only don't what his father instructed" she replied.
"What kind of father tells his son to force himself on an innocent girl urhh?" I asked.
"Shhhhhh keep your voice down and look in our village we believe that a girl must bear a child for the man she's betrothed to before she can get married to him and the child must be a boy. Cjant and I have tried everything all the herb in the village but nothing worked, Cjant is the heir to the throne and he needs a son to take over from he's father but I can't give him a child so his father sent him out to look for a girl who could give him a child".
"Okay did you say village and what!!!!! I can't have sex with a man who kidnapped me not to talk of bearing a child for him no way" I said.
"Skylar you have to or get killed, Cjant refused for me to be killed by my people they say I am a bad omen who needs to die but Cjant doesn't believe that and the only way I can live is if the woman he brings bears him a son and she gets killed then I raise her son as mine" she answered.
"So what you are saying is that either way u still died right" I asked.
"There are three options one I get killed and he marries you, two you get killed and I raise your child and three you run away before you are killed the woman is given four days to rest after the birth of the baby before she is killed so you have to run away but the village is booby trapped in case of intruders, you have to be really careful" she said.
"Wait why are you telling me all this Nika?".
" Because our journey is really dangerous and we may not all get home and Skylar if I don't make it you just know everything I have told you okay" she said then got up and left the room.
