41 Day 2 He Rises

He walked over to the mirror and looked at himself and started to clean up the blood on his mouth and neck. After about 5 mins he looked pretty good and seemed like he was more like himself finally. He touched the mirror and it cracked as he put too much strength into it but other then that he seemed in control of himself.

"You were close to death and was just turned into a vampire. It is normal for you not to remember your past life as a mortal. You are now immortal but not invincible. You can be killed but you will never age anymore or die of old age. You have your life ahead of you and I did my best to keep you as whole as I could while saving hour life. You will have a hard road ahead of you adjusting into your new life but I will be here for you from this day on and forever. Now you asked about family, I do not know much about who you were family wise before I met you and saved your life. I do know you have a brother who is a werewolf and is standing outside the room." I explained. "Remember you are to stay by my side and only follow my orders. Do NOT act on your own unless its to save your life."

When I said werewolf I watched Micheal cringe and show his teeth. Vampires are the natural enemies of werewolves and I saw then that it was instinct to the hate them. We both walked to the bathroom door. Slowly I opened up the door.

"So did you manage to do it?" Lucien said. "Your black Magic has corrupted my brother's soul no matter what your result is in there. You deserve to be dead."

Micheal tensed and started to step forward. I put my hand up and he froze.

"Well he is alive and ready to come out but you need to not instigate him. His instincts are how he is going right now. It will take him time to manage his instincts so he can control them better. Right now I am the one who saved his life and am helping him hold on to his sanity. I need to get him back and get him fed soon so the hunger relaxes and he will be more of himself. His memory is fuzzy but it will come back in time and with help."

Micheal stepped up and looked at Lucien. "Hello, Lucien. Be careful or you might find yourself dead in the alley in the next week or so. The beta brought down by the Alpha for defying his orders would be a bad thing to die over. Yes I did have a vision of that happening so you need to think about what you plan to do and the consequences for those actions."

Lucien flinched and then his eye's grew large and he looked at me. "You managed to actually do it. You allowed him to keep his abilities. That is terrifying. You have someone beyond powerful to support you and your black magic. This..."

He trailed off as the door to Damien's room opened up. I took Micheal by the hand and led him into the hallway and down to Damien's room. As we entered the room I could hear Lucien following behind us. He was like an upset rhino stomping down the hall.

"I see it was a success. I am glad I didn't cause his death." Damien spoke up as soon as he saw Micheal.

At those words Micheal tried to launch himself at Damien. He got far enough to almost reach him when I grabbed him and pulled him back into line. As soon as I touched him he instantly calmed down.

"Sorry he is still new and his instincts are still controlling him. He heard you almost killed him and his first reaction is to attack you for it. Please be careful what you say around him right now. Also he is still adjusting and does not have his memories back yet. That will take time."

"It's OK, I understand where he is coming from. Even new wolves have instincts that take time to get under control. Anyways does he still have his abilities or did you break them so you wouldn't have to fight with him anymore? Also what can I do to help you out?" Damien asked.

"He has his full abilities as no breaking was done at all. As for helping me out I just need to get him back to the rest and get this seethe reigned in so we can move on to our first true mission. I am very interested in actually playing the game rather then just having this stuff in the way. I am sure you know what I am saying and meaning."

"Yes, I do understand and will help you get to the Inn. Lucien stand down and leave them alone so they can get to where they need to go. You need to give him some space until he comes back to himself. He is still your brother even if he is changed." Damien said.

"Yes, Alpha I will wait for him to come to me. As for letting them go, I would be more then happy to show them the way out and away from the den. We have more important things to do then to keep an eye on them. Tomorrow is the full moon and next week is the dark week that we have every quarter." Lucien replied. "Having them out of here and on there way would be wise. Also that will get the black magic to leave the city and move on her way which would be just about as good as killing her."

I could not help it but that made me laugh. Saving his brother's life was still not good enough to get a pass on the while blood magic stuff. He still wanted me dead. At least this time he would accept being gone from this city as an acceptable trade off for my death.
