I sighed as I walked near the guy who's sitting alone on the sand in front of the beautiful horizon just outside the academy.

I sat beside him and looked at the scenery in front of us. "I know you're still grieving. Who would not if he was the only family you had?"

He didn't respond but I knew he's listening.

It's been a week since we all returned to the academy yet Istill remembered his face when he saw his father's lifeless body.

He knelt beside the body and cried silently. After that, he became emotionless and nonmoving. It's like he's lost and didn't know the way back. We got all worried about him. Neither does he eat nor sleep. Gone the playful Nero that we knew.

And as time went by, I suddenly realized I missed the old Nero. Although I was always mad at him for his flirty acts, still, I wanted him to be that way again.
