14 Chapter 13

ERIN

We were all silent as to what General Claws- the commander of the soldiers said.

"That stones should be destroyed. Those stones were once whole. But two gods broke it and it became two. That was in the time of four opposite gods."

That was where my attention got caught.

We've never heard of that. All we were told then was that there were two stones made different worlds and kingdoms vying for it because of its power.

"What should we do then?" Panther asked after a while.

"You have to get rid of the stones before those two falls on the wrong hand. But, I’m telling you, no one even survived when they got hold of the stones. The stones were hidden in a place nobody could enter and if ever someone managed to go in, they never come out. No one knows what awaits us there if we could enter it. The only ones who can enter and can only get those stones in that place are the creatures with strange powers. A total opposite. "

We all looked at Storm.

"I'll go there." Storm said with finality in his voice.

No one spoke after he said that.

He’s the only one who had conflicting powers and I believe in him. He can-

"I'll come with you."

I almost broke the vein in my neck when I looked back at Rain because of what she said.

"What?! No, Serena. It's too dangerous! You might not be able to handle it," Reya screamed. I could sense the worry in her for her sister.

Rain looked at her and spoke seriously. Gone the calm and peaceful Rain Seforza I knew.

"You know I can take it, Rey. Creatures like me and Storm are different from you. And you know it really well."

I couldn’t believe what she said.

Serena is also a half-breed ?!

"W-wait, you're also a half-breed just like Storm? And you're also a cursed one when it comes to powers. Well, we are all cursed. But you’re on a different level.” Lu voiced out.

Smiling, Sere nodded. “ Because Rain is the youngest, she inherited two different powers."

If Sere and Reya were already powerful, what about Rain who possessed both of her sisters’ capabilities?

"I'm still me, Erin. You don't have to worry."

I smiled and looked at Rain with a smile.

She could also read minds!

I looked at General Claws as he spoke. "If it's settled then, you two follow me. You have to hurry before the enemies reach this place and attack us."

We did nothing but follow.

He led us to a clearing. And while we're nearing the center, our eyes changed color, revealing our hidden powers. Sere's golden eyes grew brighter. The same goes for Reya. Panther's eyes became as dark as the starless night. Lou's became purple. Diego's turned into green ones. Derene became as white as snow but as clear as crystals. Mine became ocean blue. But what amazed me the most were Storm and Rain's eyes. They were gold and red. But the centers were surrounded by three dot-like black. And what amazed me even more was the change in Reya's appearance and the clothes they both wore.

They looked as if they were in the ancient Greek time, wearing black and white silks with a crown of a half moon on both of their foreheads. Perfect couple.

And I know, right there and then, they're the special creatures. The next chief gods of all the realms.

SEREYA

I looked at my twin nervously.

Damn!

We just met her again for almost thirteen centuries! And now she's going into a place again that we didn't know if she'll return unscathed or what.

"This is where we could go. We couldn't go as far as they could. Or else we will lose our power. Worse we might even die." Said General Claws as he looked at the portal made of black fire and burning ice.

I could feel an immense power coming from the portal. It's as if prohibiting us from entering it. And I couldn't imagine those people who managed to enter in that horrible hole.

I looked at Serenity when I felt her emotions. I could tell she's in dilemma. She's also worried for our youngest.

I know the rest of us felt same.

But I trust my sister. With the training she had, I knew she could do it.

The two began walking closer to the portal that would lead them to the location of the rocks.

'I trust you to take good care of our sister, Gab. Come out alive. '

Gab turned to me and nodded.

That's what I needed right now.

Before finally entering, Rain turned to us.

"I'll be fine, guys. Have faith in me," she said with a smile and finally went inside.

We were left staring at nothing.

At the same time as the two of them entered, the portal disappeared.

"What do we do next?" I asked the old woman who had been quiet next to me.

She sighed before she stared at me. Her eyes were pure white.

"We wait for them. But we also need to prepare. A flock of enemies are coming. Evil will come and try to kill us," she looked at Nero and Erin, "Go and save your dads. They're in grave danger."

The two got worried and in less than a second a dragon appeared in front of us and Erin rode there. Her guardian. That wretch looking dragon could go to different realms in just a span of time.

Nero just flicked his fingers and they both disappeared into thin air.

With the disappearance of the two, the time in Cristales began running again.

And hell broke loose.

We all ran to avoid the bullets of war.

Sere and I and the old woman were together so I could talk to her freely.

"What exactly awaits the two in that portal?"

"That is not just one portal. It has hundreds of portals. And in each of those portals, they have challenges to face and overcome. Once they overcome the greatest challenge they're going to encounter, they'll get to the stone in no time. It's either they're going to let their fears devour them, or let those go and keep moving forward. "

It was there that I finally became very worried.

Those two hold the same nightmares. I just hope they overcome those fears and destroy their stones to eliminate the wickedness of the world.
