2 Chapter 2

Scarlett sat in her father's office reading from a magazine about the future princess. "Dad, listen to this. Apparently, Mecca Island was invaded in WWII. The royal family fled to the US to avoid persecution because they were known for harboring the Jewish people on their land. The prince stayed here and married a commoner. The king and queen went back with their only daughter. That was Queen Hara. The daughter's husband, the current King, was the only heir left to carry on the name. They didn't have any children. That's why they had to find Bella."

"Um-hum," her father pretended to be listening.

"The prince who stayed here became a US citizen and renounced his title. He didn't tell his children so they would live normal lives. That's why Bella didn't know she was a princess. That was her grandfather. The current king is now really old and his wife has passed on. Bella's dad died of cancer when she was 18. Her mother died when she was born. Poor girl. That's so sad. She's the only one who can save the country to stay in the family line. If not, it goes to this creepy looking Duke. Dad! Are you listening? Look!" Scarlett showed him the magazine, shoving it in his face.

"Scarlett, I don't have time for this." Owner or XFW, Mason Archer, pushed her hand away to work on the next house show bookings.

"Daddy, we should do a show there and invite Bella. She's a fan. Picture the ratings. The fans would love it." Scarlett knew just how to work him.

"Fans, you say? I'm not sure if the monarch will allow the future princess to attend, sweetheart. But, it's not a bad idea. Maybe we could offer a skybox to her and her guest. A show there would be good for publicity. Especially when trying to get into the international markets." Mason seemed to be taking what Scarlett was saying to heart. He looked up at her. "I'll see what I can do."

"Yes! Thank you, Daddy!" She hugged him and ran out.

In the hall, she ran into Jett jumping up and down. Grabbing Jett by his leather jacket, she yanked him back and forth. Jett looked at her like she was crazy trying to pull her hands free.

"Stop. What's wrong with you?"

"Jett! Guess what! We might get to do a show at Mecca Island. I could meet the princess." Scarlett stopped pulling at him realizing that was true. Grabbing her chest over her heart she looked starry-eyed. "Oh, my gosh! We could be friends. I could meet a real princess. I have to go shopping." Scarlett ran away down the hall, leaving Jett standing confused. He was thinking Scarlett had finally lost her mind. She was always a little scatterbrained.

Going into Mason's office, Jett flopped down in a chair across from his boss and threw his boots up on the desk. "Sup boss man? So, what is queen nutcase going on about?"

Mason shoved Jett's feet down and went back to work. "Oh, nothing. She wants to do a show in Mecca Island. She's taking this royal thing a little too seriously. But, I admit, a show there would be good publicity. I can't argue with her there. Maybe we can get the future princess on the show too. We could have a royal romance storyline." Mason smirked not looking directly at Jett. He loved annoying the younger man.

"Oh, no! No way. Why am I the first one you think of for this crap? Besides, I'm with Scarlett on the show." Jett rolled his eyes brooding over the idea.

"A chance for a good love triangle. The Mecca Island princess versus Queen Xtream at Wrestle Clash. Ratings gold," Mason joked knowing he was getting Jett hot under the collar.

"You're just as crazy as she is." Jett got up to head out of the room before this conversation turned into Mason trying to make that idea happen. "I'm going to go find someone to talk to that hasn't lost their minds over this royal madness. See you later."

Mason taunted as he left. "Think about it. It could make you an international star."

"Not a chance," Jett grumbled.

Bella finished her princess classes for the day and snuck into the kitchen to hang out with the cook and maids. Dressed in her "Rebels of Destruction" logo t-shirt and sweatpants she was stuffing her face with junk food. "Chokeslam! Told you Victor Titan had that match in the bag." Bella grabbed some popcorn cramming it in her mouth.

The cook laughed. "If Duchess Cora catches you in here, she is going to put you in the dungeon."

"You mean the storage room? What do we need a dungeon for, anyway? Are we planning to ride out on our horses and slay an evil queen with her army of dragons?" Bella giggled.

"Never know. We might." The cook threw popcorn, taunting her.

"Oooh look! Rebels of Destruction! They are my favorite. Jett is a cocky jerk, but he is so freaking sexy. He could give me a piledriver anytime."

Bella watched the show, rubbing her hands together excitedly, as Rebels of Destruction did their stage promo. She continued on to eating grabbing some cookies and chomped down another bite. Junk food was her weakness.

"Is that the way a future royal to talk?" The duchess step behind her with hands crossed in front of her, looking down her nose at the royal protege.

Bella had her mouth full of cookies and slowly turned around knowing she was in trouble. She tried to smile impishly with her cheeks full of food.

The lady put out her hand. "Spit it out. You are on a diet." Bella opened her mouth with a guilty look, opening her mouth letting the cookie fall out. "All of it." She let the rest fall from her mouth, as the duchess let out of annoyed huff. "Time for bed, Arabella. You have a trip to the orphanage in the morning. Off you go. And, no more of this wrestling business. A princess needs to be careful about how she is perceived." Bella mocked her silently as she walked out. The duchess tried to contain her smirk knowing what she was doing. "I saw that."

"Sorry. Fine. Bedtime."

Bella remembered watching wrestling with her grandfather and father when she was very little. Even though she didn't know they were royalty, she didn't see any problem with watching it, if her prince grandfather liked it.

This royal business was starting to get to be a bit much for the simple Ohio girl.
