He then proceeds to unbuckle and open a book with the title 'karmic points and how to spend them.
This is a quick version of what it contains:
Karmic points: what are they
These are the foundations of souls' reincarnation and no matter what you will get them. However, while you are younger it is easy to obtain them, as an adult of your species it becomes much more difficult, as you are pushed down by everything and anything, also you become more aware, so these karmic points you would have gotten aren't gained due to your mentality.
Karmic points (kp) are valued at:

Karmic points: how to spend them
Due to most beings that both wrote this book and use karmic points daily being deities, or some form of immortal species, prices for certain things you might find useful are lower than you would expect however something such as the ability to have a ever filling water bottle would be priced at 10000 karmic points (kp), however the possibilities are endless.
Moving onto the list you can decide where to go based on this list, which is connected to your world, as a likely reincarnating soul you do not need to worry about how this might work.

ok how bout bleach… wait what… there are two systems here, weird, one is A.I. like the rest… the other is not, but it's at only 500 karmic points… oh it's because it uses kp to upgrade it, with each upgrade being for different races and such, each at 500 and I can choose'

He then spent what was likely around 5 days reading through every section none stop, the results were:

The spirit began chuckling and grinning, I assume anyway, then went again to the office containing the shadowy figure.
"Hello again, have you come to bargain"
"I get that reference!"
"Good one, now what are your choices"
"Classical statement there mister shadowy being, anyway here they are,

"Interesting, I will need to make a statement to my heads about this system, but you can keep it, anyway nice choice, now BEGONE" the Figure stated, ending with a booming shout and a magic circle appearing.
"I will never forget, you, My fellow being of culture, thanks for ending this with a magic circl-"
