12 Careless Kissing and Crying

"Zane, there's somebody at the door for you!"

Zane ran down the stairs, hoping that it would be Hunter (though deep down he knew it wasn't). He really wanted to be on better terms with the boy.

"Hey, Zane," Sammy said once he saw him coming. Zane smiled and ushered him to follow him upstairs.

"Hey, man. What's up?" Zane asked. He noticed that the boy wasn't smiling and seemed pretty bummed out.

"I know what happened between you guys," Sammy said, not looking at Zane.

Sammy walked through Zane's room, looking on the things on the wall and the shelves. He had a good amount of stuff unpacked for just moving here.

Zane thought he should say something, but decided not to.

Sammy turned back to him before speaking again. "He didn't tell me. But I'm pretty sure I know. He didn't have to tell me, for me to know."

"So, what are your thoughts about it?" Zane asked standing by the side of his bed. He didn't want to sit yet because that seemed slightly rude towards the other boy.

Sammy came and stood next to him before nervously asking, "what was it like?"

Sammy had some experience, don't get him wrong, but he hadn't had anything recent (sans the quick kiss with his best friend).

"You could experience it for yourself if you wanted," Zane said. Sammy hesitantly nodded his head.

Zane was quick to push Sammy to the bed and quick to connect their lips.

Sammy's lips weren't as soft as Hunter's (not that Zane was thinking of Hunter and comparing the two boys).

Zane smirked as he pulled away from the kiss, letting the feeling of it linger. Zane decided then that he could get used to kissing.

"And how was it?" Zane commented. Sammy covered his face (resting it on Zane's chest) and groaned.

"Please don't tell him about this," Sammy murmured. Zane then noticed that Sammy had tears in his eyes.

Zane frowned and pulled the boy closer.

"Hey, it's going to be okay," Zane tried to reassure the boy who he was cradling in his arms.

Zane sighed and looked towards the ceiling. How had life become so complicated in such a short amount of time?
