2 Chapter 2

Sheena entered her private dressing room. The estate was large and they were both rich enough to afford such things. Her gaze slid over the numerous clothes, the shoes, the bags, the jewellery and the cosmetics. Everything was neatly sorted, stacked folded or in protective boxes or garment bags. She closed the door behind her and moved the inside of the lock with her magic and locked the door. Then she began to place several suitcases and her clothes and shoes began to pack themselves into the numerous suitcases controlled by her telekinesis. She would leave nothing here for him to give to any wenches. Sheena clenched her teeth so tightly that they gritted, and pain passed lightly through her jaw.

A soft ping let her know she had received a message and she hastily dug her smartphone out of her clutch and checked. Her heartbeat quickened as her eyes flew over the words she had received in a reply and her lips twisted into a shaky smile. Her grandfather was anything but thrilled and informed her that she could come home immediately if she no longer wanted to see this poor sausage of a human being. Relief filled her and she leaned back against the door as she closed her eyes and pressed the phone to her lips. She felt the burning in her eyes and took shaky breaths in and out, trying to calm herself. She could cry as soon as she was in the protective arms of her family. People who definitely loved her and would care for her. She forced herself to stop thinking about how shitty it felt to be betrayed and lied to by the man you loved and straightened her shoulders. She was so much better than that. She was part of the Levyn family. A slight smile spread across her lips and she walked past the flying dresses that continued to pack and then stepped in front of a large mirror and examined herself with scrutiny. The white blonde waves reached her thighs and still sat perfectly. The reddish tips shimmered in the electric light of the ceiling spotlights. She cocked her head slightly to one side, examining herself more closely, more scrutinising. She had a slightly golden glow to her skin, was not as pale as a corpse as her soon-to-be ex. Her skin was flawless, well-groomed. Thick lashes framed shimmering golden eyes that lay above high cheekbones. The black sheath dress clung to her slender, petite figure and hugged her curves perfectly. She may not have been such a boob wonder as this maid, but she still had an awesome body and had absolutely no need to hide visually from anyone.

"Leister is such an idiot," she grumbled and sighed, then turned back to her dressing room. Her remaining magic in the air had ensured that the spell continued, which meant she didn't have to concentrate on it much. Completely unlike for most telekinetic mages below B-rank. In fact, however, her magic scores regarding telekinesis and pyrokinesis were at UR rank, while her telepathy was at S rank, making her the kind of mage who could be called a force of nature, and therefore this simple spell did not really strain her. Examining the neatly folded clothes, the neatly sorted shoes, she nodded. The spell had not gone wrong and her magic had played Tetris with her clothes and shoes. She gave her magic a push and the suitcase lids clicked shut. Then she unlocked the door of her dressing room again and left the empty room without giving it another glance, levitating the 10 suitcases into the entrance hall where she spun a web of energy around them. She really didn't fancy anyone messing with her things. She walked with long strides down the hall towards the large study, while she was already letting her family know that they should pick her up. But she still wanted to take all the documents with her that might become important and maybe she could find some dirty things to trip Leister up with. He would learn what it meant to cheat on her. With grim determination, she marched into the large office.

The walls were covered with heavy cherry wood and white marble slabs were laid on the floor. In the middle of the wall to her left, just opposite the two large windows, there was a picture 2 metres high. It was heavy, old and if she remembered correctly, the stern-looking man in military uniform had to be Anthony II. Leister Jamesson, Leister's great-great-great-grandfather. She averted her eyes. She always felt very watched when she was in this room, but pushed that feeling aside. Heavy carpets lay beneath heavy but expensive wooden furniture and she let the room sink in for a moment. Sunlight streamed in through the high arched windows and fine dust particles danced in the sunlight.

'Okay I guess I'll look through all the files when I get home, now would be too much work and too time consuming,' she thought and nodded slightly, then strode across the floor taking care to only step onto the thick carpets to muffle her footsteps. Two large bags flew through the door and she let them land on the table as she emptied each drawer. A couple of those very drawers were locked, but she wasn't remotely interested. She broke them open with her telekinesis and emptied their contents indiscriminately into the two pockets. When she had emptied the desk, she turned to the two large file cabinets. They were certainly 200 years old, but that interested her very little right now, so she broke the locks, pushed open the doors and then let all the files in the cabinets fly into her pockets. She didn't even bother to be particularly tidy. When she had packed everything, she turned to the large painting on the wall. She let it swing carefully to one side and her eyes fell on a save.

'Oh yes,' she thought and a soft giggle escaped her lips before she walked towards the heavy wall save. She didn't even need the password. She would just take it apart, that would be enough. Her magic wrapped around the metal of the save and she pulled on it until it creaked protestingly and seemed to screech softly. Then she simply cracked open the front door. A voice familiar to her cleared its throat then and for a moment she seemed frozen.

"What do you think you're doing?"
