61 Chapter POV Vailein

When the survival training end our small group of 4 still look decent, many of the kids are bruised, in various states of undress, because their clothing has been torn apart. Many of the girls in the class look bashful around hoping that none of the males takes advantage off this period. But they are relieved to find that the males are in a similar conundrum. When they spot Kira and Janfa their eyes flash with jealousy and greed. The teachers are kind enough to set up a few tents so that the kids can change into a set of fresh clothes. Once done everyone's progress, in points, is displayed on a large screen. Everyone earned 6000 points minimum, the maximum isn't an individual from our group of 4 but a kid called Sergio he gained 925 million points. Each of us got away with 400 million points on average.

Inside the school we take classes on how to establish a base and run it. We focus first on how to build it, then management which none of us seem to enjoy. Kira and Janfa seem to like the challenges that transport offers them. Mavs likes the building aspect of the base the most. Which leaves me with the aspects of human Management, technological development and Pokemon distribution. The purpose of the base is to take care of orphans. I think I will call it The Orphanage Islands. For now it will be named project TOI. My biggest Challenge currently is meat. I cannot ask a clan to follow me just to butcher them. They are too intelligent for such treatment. So I need to collect animals for husbandry, protect them and so on and so forth. Bah enough off this project for now.

After 4 month of studying it is finally time for summer break. Happily we, the students, exit the school and regroup with our parents, butlers and siblings. Now that we are 13 and 14 we are slowly given more and more responsibilities. Many of the children have already started to flirt and date. Though most of those don't even last for more than a week. We are just exploring our hormonal changes and our biological needs. This summer many boys and girls will get to meet their future husbands and wives. But for Mav, Janfa, Kira and me we already are engaged a year ago.

My parents surprise us at home because there are 4 bikes with completely different designs waiting for us. My dad explains what happened after we dropped off the stuff from the ruins that we ransacked. We also get to see the new basement and are awed by the data servers. We release the Porygon we took and they go and sort through the data. At first they bring forth data for a micro computer that has the same processing power as a top of the line desktop. Seeing what those devices cost to build we know that it will only be for our own use, if we manage to make them. One of the items inside is never melting ice fragments, it is used as a cooling device and is expensive. The second thing they bring forth is the bike schematics that dad used to design his bikes. As far as I can see my dad did a good job of mixing and maxing. Mav however suggests a few changes. So far the government only has batteries that can last a few days of continuous use. So to suddenly bring a battery, inside a bike nonetheless, that can last 10 weeks of continuous use, to the market is an upgrade that will get us killed.

Therefore the batteries need to be replaced by a lesser version if we plan on selling them. And my dad is. Second thing we are critic about is how he plans to sell them. He plans on just having them in front of the shop and selling them as expensive hand made bikes. Like we don't already have enough people breathing down our necks ready to take our heads off. We are simply not strong enough to actually sell those bikes. In order to do that we need to hire 20 pseudo elite trainers as bodyguards, meaning that unless we sell 200 bikes a month it will be in the red.

Instead of doing it solo we can do 4 things. First of all wait till we are stronger, this will take several years. Second, sell it under a mysterious alias, if found out we are dead. Third, selling them as if we are traveling merchants to different cities every year. This is slower but pretty secure thanks to Ditto. Lastly, work together with a stronger group than us and lose 45% of the company rights. This will provide us with a large revenue stream but at the same time the other party pretty much owns us from that point on. For the first few we need to hide the bike production from the eyes of the public, lucky we have a new undetectable basement. Dad in the end chooses option number 3 he can craft a few of those bikes with the help of the software group kids and with the alternative bike he can go to a city in a few days to sell the capsuled bikes.

My parents both now have 10 Pokemon each. My dad now owns Cradily (grass rock), Masquerain (bugg fly), Chandelure (ghost fire), Persian (normal), Seadra (water), Togedemaru (electric steel), Spritzee (fairy) Espion (Psy), Weavile (dark ice) and Croagunk (fight poison). Mom owns Magcargo (fire rock), Farfetch'd (fly normal), Gothitelle (Psy), Roselina (grass poison), Aranquanid (bug water), Sandygast (ground ghost), Togedemaru (electric steel), Spritzee (fairy), Umbreon (dark) and Crabominable (fight ice).

Both are lacking a dragon type, just like me. Though dad also lacks a ground type, and technically Seadra will evolve into a Kingdra, a water dragon type. I don't know how strong each of their Pokemon are however.
