Chapter Pov Vailein

A breeder choses one or two Pokemon and attempts to create a herd with a perfect environment for them. They are also the suppliers for almost all 'egg houses' throughout the region. Now the thing is that all 18 types have a different aging scheme. And those are again divided by none evolutions a single evolution and double evolutions.

For example for double evolutions: a Scatterbug (bug type) evolves after about 8 months into Spewpa. As a Spewpa it depends on how energy rich it's diet is but it evolves again in 6 months to a year into a Vivillon. In this case the Scatterbug will be it's child form, Spewpa is it's adolescent form and Vivillon it's adulthood.

An example with single evolution: a Pineco evolves only after 2 years time into a Forretress. In this case Pineco starts smaller then the norm as a child, it slowly grows over two years time, after 1 year and 6 months they reach the average hight and become adolescent. For the next 6 months they grow faster until it evolves it keeps growing till it reaches the average hight again for another year and reaches it's adulthood.

Last example of a none evolution: Shuckle starts about half the size of it's average hight, as a child, slowly grows over 3 years to ¾ of the average hight and reaches adolescent 2 years later it has grown to 1 inch more then average hight and being an adult.

This was just for Bug which have one of the shortest growth cycles around. Dragons have a long childhood and adolescent stage. But specifics are different for each Pokemon by itself. A poison type can have 2 years growth period before becoming an adult, like Grimer, but can also have a 8 year growth period (5 in child 3 in adolescence), like a Oddish After talking about all this we went to our beds and sleep.

After a final night of resting we board our buses again to return. We leave the camp within 5 minutes of boarding. As we slowly draw near to where Yanma and Sunflora tore into our buses on the way over to the camp we notice a flock of Combee. The Combee have our attention on them and the guns are also aiming towards the Combee. A flock of Rattata slowly creeps onto the road forcing our buses to stop. Then out of nowhere Yanma are let through the flock of Combee and they tare our guns off the buses before they can fire a single shot. The adults at this point quickly press on a big red button I guess it is a emergency button for rescue. Sunflora wrap their vines whips around the armor plating of the buses. When 10 Sunflora pull together on a single plating the whole buss slides over towards them. When two groups of Sunflora work together by pulling on both sides at the same time however they need a total of 40 Sunflora to pull of the armor plating. Rattata are the first group of Pokemon to swarm around the buses, but the Combee are the first to attack. They are mindless drones that can be mass produced by a Vespiquen.

The Combee attack us all with Bug bites. Annoying but easily defended against by the adults Pokemon. Seeing the Sunflora slowly getting the know how of how to take our plating away I release my Houndour. Mav seeing my action also releases his Combusken. At first the other kids are telling us to retrieve our Pokemon but within a seconds they shut up when they can hear the chewing sounds on the sides of the bus. The first hole in the bus gets a blob of fire blown at it before a Rattata can even enter. The fire blob hits the Rattata outside of the buss and blows up, scorching another 5 Rattata. The second hole is treated the same but then by Combusken. All the kids are now releasing their Pokemon slowly targeting the holes and fighting Rattata all over the bus. The adults still Focus on the Combee, Combee are not afraid of doing suicide attacks. We slowly are unable to hold the Rattata from entering the bus and the Combee are also overwhelming the adults.

Suddenly a Raticate tries to enter but misjudges the windows size. It hits not the window but the bar in between, this causes the bus to topple over to it's side, allowing us kids a small reprieve from the Rattata. They need to make new holes before being able to enter again. The Combee also have less entrance options on our bus. The Raticate takes a few seconds to overcome it's daze then it tries again to enter through a window. On of the children uses a Electrike to attack the Raticate. The Raticate evades Electrikes attack causing the spark to run over the whole bus. This gives all of us a small shock and one kid to pass out, worse still the engine block short circuits. This causes the engine to go light a spark and set the leaking fuel on fire.

The fire signals a group of rescuing trainers where exactly we are so that they can rush over. They are in time to force the stronger Pokemon to face them. The rescuing trainers are of the Elite level however so they make quick work of the first wave of Pokemon that attack them. This causes the rest of the Pokemon clans to gain a scare and they flee. I jump on the back of my Houndour who then jumps outside of the bus with me on it's back. Luckily I am still small so it fits. Outside the bus I summon a Pidgeotto, who pecks a hole into the front window of the bus, so it easily breaks after a Pokemon smashes it from inside out. Quickly all children are moved through the front window and received by me, Houndour and Pigeotto. As soon as the kids are out the adults follow my example and leave anyway they can as fast as they can. Just when everyone is outside and off the bus the engine block completely blows up creating a large fireball. Tired from the battle that lasted half an hour we pass out. A few hours later we wake up again. The Elite trainers that rescued us will guard us the rest of the way because the buses have been completely scrapped. Because of those trainers, long walk of 3 days is difficult but uneventful. Me and Mav only have a few blisters from the long walk further we are fine.

At home my tournament reward of a free egg voucher and 5000 dollars are waiting. After thinking about it long and hard. Houndour can carry me if need on land, Pidgeotto can do the same for air. I decide to pick a Pokemon that will take a while to grow up from the psychic type. I go towards the site to redeem the voucher and select the Meditite line. After all it is one of the few psychic Pokemon that trains it's body next to it's mind allowing for a greater power in my eyes. The body is a vessel for the power it holds, if it is stronger it can hold more energy. A week later my parents and I go and get the egg. Meditite is a very hard to get egg and currently there are only about 100 of their eggs available each year. Meditite can absorb psychic energy to replace a part of it's nutritional needs. Since I have psychic energy and using it is the fastest way to enhance it, every evening before sleeping I sent my psychic energy towards the egg.

During the day I, Houndour and Pidgeotto decide to up our training, I bought a super large chess set and set it up in the garden. Both Pidgeotto and Houndour have to use their energy to move the chess pieces. Houndour also learned another neat trick, it can now use shadows to hide itself, similar to shadow sneak. Pidgeotto like the ice type Pokemon it met at the camp and I notice it likes cold places more then warm. 2 weeks after getting Meditite's egg it hatches. Experience from Houndour helps me get the egg out of the incubator on time. This Meditite is slightly larger (0.68m) then what is written on the Internet (0.6m). After feeding Meditite for the first time it happily goes to sleep. Quickly I use a Poke-ball on Meditite to capture it so nothing can happen to it by accident.

I have a terrible naming sense so i am not going to use chapter titles. instead i give it the name of the one who is the I in that chapter.

Suggestions for people names are also welcome. I wont be naming Pokemon unless i use something like Houndour->Hound shorting a long name.

Since i write from a I perspective at all times that name rarely falls in a chapter.
