Chapter PoV Vailein.

Sergio is the next contestant on our side. On the other side it seems there is someone who is clothed in expensive clothes, but they are practical and not show off style, like the previous guy. Sergio sends his Silvally to battle and the other guy sends out a Staraptor. Silvally gets a solid beating, not without returning some blows but it was definitely overwhelmed. Mav on his turn uses Blaziken and barely manages to eke out a win. Revealing the next Pokemon to be a Haxorus. Now it is basically 2v1 in favor of the opponents. I however refuse to continue the battle without a professional healer present and prepared for emergency treatment. This causes my opponents to laugh at me but Mav suddenly understands. When the nurse finally shows up my team is safely hidden behind a glass wall.

I take my spot as a contender, grab a ball and toss it out, Audino destroy my opponents, is what I say when Audino manifests from the red light. Audino happily acknowledges my request. The opposing team is confused at the angelic appearance of my Pokemon but decides to brutally destroy it.

Audino (mega) vs Haxorus:

Audino wait patiently for Haxorus to attack. Haxorus does not disappoint and breathes out a great wave of dragonfire. Audino just takes the hit and comes out unscratched. After all, Audino now is also a fairy type next to a normal type. Haxorus charges a hyper beam and launches it straight at Audino again. This time Audino creates a small transparent screen on on of it's hands and easily deflects the attack off the stage, destroying a part of the area next to it. Another few shots are given in similar ways and also deflected. The glass panel that my team hides behind is sturdy, you can see a part of it blackened due to damage from deflected attacks. The nurse is already busy taking care of some audience members that did not duck in time, after the energy barrier broke easily. Haxorus is losing patience and charges towards Audino. Haxorus lengthens one of his claws and swipes it at Audino. Audino pushes the attack just enough that it misses, at the same time a single nail is shimmering in energy and it gets a seemingly careless wave. Haxorus suddenly starts bleeding heavily from it's belly. Haxorus gets enraged by this and swipes again with a claw. The result is a heavy bleeding arm that now also hangs limply to its side. A forceful tail attack from Haxorus only teaches him that tails are a weakness as well as a strength, it gets a deep cut. Audino now retreats 5 steps. "Retrieve your Pokemon or have it gain a trauma so it can never battle again your choice." I warn my opponent. We can see his gears spinning and he chooses to retrieve his Pokemon so it can get healing. During the whole battle Audino barely wasted any energy, and neither did she get hurt. As a shocker Haxorus looks horrible.

The last opponent sends out a Magearna which is a mechanical Pokemon that can grow. Once it was created to defend places of value with absolute loyalty to the owner, no Poke-balls where needed. Now however they are rare and very few in ruins, still doing their jobs. If you defeat them and help them repair themselves they will follow you instead. A Pseudo-champion stage Magearna unlocks a part of their data which allows them to build new models. That is what my phone says about this Pokemon.

Audino vs Magearna:

Audino walks slowly towards Magearna, who does the same. Both create a transparent shield and lengthen a part into something resembling a sword. Both Pokemon are extremely quick, so much so that we are almost unable to follow the battle. My Pokemon can though so indirectly I can too. Their shields push away the blades just enough so that it misses. This in turn creates sparks all around and it becomes a physical challenge. The fight slowly escalates into something a bit more aggressive. Magearna switches the shield into a bladed form and rains a storm of blows directly on my Audino. This forces my Audino to create a second shield to defend. Audino seems to no longer be able to attack. After 2 minutes and around 500 blows have been exchanged without harming the other. Audino suddenly swipes it's left feet up and a shimmering blade comes from a single toenail. This scratches Magearna from its dress part to its face. Magearna seems shocked but well it will battle till it can no longer move. Before Magearna can recover from the sudden strike, Audino bashes both it's shields into its shoulder joints, displacing a small machine parts there and thus disabling the arms. Magearna changes its ears and feet into small lethal weapons, as well as its core begins to flash red from its normal blue color. The trainer instantly recalls Magearna with the words it's just a friendly battle not a fight to the death, thank you my dear. Audino walks up to Magearna and asks Magearna if it is allowed to help Magearna recover. Oh my sneaky Audino wants to copy its schematics up to our mindlink so that Porygon can make it into data. The boy doesn't notice Audino's plan and accepts. A single large wave of energy helps Magearna settle all it's internal problems and us to the schematics.

Magearna will be a great standard addition to any team, loyal to the first person it sees and one that has the Fairy/steel types. So yes I plan on manufacturing this one for every orphan when I have my base. Tournament related we just broke into the top 9. The rest of the day is free and after healing our Pokemon we again cruise through the city seeking for places of interest. Today we do find one, a building where a lot of people enter but not the same people leave that place. With the help of Ditto my face changes and we enter the building too. Turns out it is an entrance to the black market, everything here can be hired or bought including people.

I first scout out the whole black market for items that I want. After walking around the black market for a few hours, I have found several things I want to buy with an indication what the items cost. First and foremost are two young kids of about the same age as Lynn. The kids, who are orphans, get sold because they seem to be possessed. A purple hue sometimes surrounds them. Medicham however easily spots the Gastly that attached themselves to the kids. When I try to haggle with the seller to buy the kids. The seller wants twice the amount that a usual kid is worth in this market. So I turn around and distract the seller. While I do that Medicham touches both kids behind the seller's back. I am also interested in several Pokemon but they are also priced higher then that they are worth and in a pretty bad condition. The last thing I found of interest is a small chip. The chip is circular and has a small logo of a round Porygon on it. I buy that at 60 million Poké.

Sadly I cannot find what I went into the black market for in the first place. A group of people who steal anything for the right price. I do need a hell of a lot of information about human energy training. I am aware that Aura can strengthen my body but it should be able to do a lot more, for example creating jewels. Another example are the aura guardians that can craft Aura into orbs that can house a lot of Pokemon. We did manage to find some information shops but all they sold is how to get that information. We cannot be off the grid long enough to actually do the stealing. We also don't have the needed skill set of stealth, breaking in and entering and all other things related. So I have no choice but to return relatively empty handed.

Returning that night me and the 3 girls assigned to me have some fake 'fun' recorded into their communicators, we however never touch each other. If someone else receives that file it will also open a port and alert Porygon. This way Porygon can literally steal all the data that person has access to. Since we are now in the top 9 we get a similarly strong opponent as the last one to battle. Since we offended the previous number 1 by getting them eliminated from the tournament before it even began we have a very low probability to get the bye. So we prepare accordingly with Audino again at the end.
