Worlds merger: pokemon/earth

this book is discontinued due to critical mistakes. I gave to much to the MC such as a perfectly balanced team, everything he need, money, and none of the conveniences. that in and of itself is already a mistake. this is not mentioning that I kept forgetting the Pokemon I gave to the MC and needed a list to keep track of that. then again I had no 'opponents' planned, not a complete plotline. therefore I am currently rewriting this at Leisure and also with a lot more detail.

Chapter Pov Teachers

Each teacher in this school is only responsible for 1 maybe 2 subjects. My subject is related to our knowledge about pocket dimensions. The first time someone enters a pocket dimension they feel displaced. The more someone does enter pocket dimensions the easier it gets. I have been teaching this class for about 17 years. During the first year I had to work very hard to earn the trust of several pocket dimension overlords. Only one of those dimensions still exists today. I assume it is due to a special part where everyone gets killed. It is also the pocket dimension that took the most time to negotiate with.

A new year, new reckless students to monitor and hopefully prevent them from dying. At the first excursion everyone always gets hyped over the possible score that could be gained. Most don't know but the way the Pokemon clans react to us should show them that there is a treaty. I also expressly forbid anyone from killing any Pokemon in this dimension. See I am correct those stupid brats always react the same running around like a headless chicken. One even directly ran towards the closest clan.

When the kid that ran towards the clan of Pokemon came close, all his Pokemon dispersed and went to play with members of the clan that have the same strength. He himself respectfully asked permission to talk with the clan elders to learn from them. At this point my jaw is almost on the ground. A brat that age who is teaching his Pokemon like that and is still respectful towards Pokemon is rare. The brat, I should look up his name, takes about 2 hours to talk with a few of the more trusting clans. If he is refused he respectfully goes away and tries a different clan. In those two hours he got a solid basic knowledge of the inner workings of clan hierarchy of a dimension.

Seeing that all available clans either refused him or already talked to him he gets on his Pidgeot and starts finding the edges of the dimension, dammit he really learns fast. He only spends a short time investigating the boundary. Then he just starts looking around. Each of his Pokemon is doing their own thing. His Meditite is playing with a few Phantump and Froslass. His Houndoom is playing with the Turtonators. His Nidorino with Venonat, Helioptile and Phanpy lines. And his Pidgeot is playing with a few Fletching. A few of the kids in class mistake his Pokemon for a random one that entered and tried to capture them. But since they already have an owner, Poke-balls won't even activate on his Pokemon. His Pokemon converge on his location very quickly though when he goes and talk to a Mareep that has a purple color in its fur. But why does he have to do it on the edge of the death zone territory? I hope he won't get killed!

Finally this class is over, except for that one exceptional kid, the class is pretty normal. Back inside I look through the class name list. Apparently the kid, who is named Vailein, is from an average family and made it this far by using his brain and buying nutrition supplements. I guess most of his meals existed solely out of meat hunted by his Pokemon. Vaileins works hard and already has dozens of exit slips in his hands. It appears he uses them every 2 days as part of his training. He doesn't want to be sheltered. He has 3 friends who are in the same dorm as he is? A single male and 2 females. So young and yet a player! Now I am just jealous.

I see the brat Vailein in the morning. 1 day practical inside the dimension, 4 days theoretical inside a safe location: a classroom, 2 days without the brats. In the theoretical class we explain what we know about pocket dimensions and also the decay rate of the dimension itself. Why am I thinking in plural? Hmm well I obviously do the explaining myself. I explain that a dimension is a broken fragment from their old world, though we don't exactly know what went wrong in their world. Their world is slowly merging into our world. In accordance with the first video taken of a few Pokemon, small fragments merge faster than large fragments. There should still be parts that are as big as a midsized country on the other side. Our planet's orbit around the sun are also constantly changing because of this.

Last thing we know is that Pokemon who spend time close to dimensional energy have a high chance to mutate. Sometimes it's just the color schemes of a Pokemon but sometimes much more. One Pokemon who has 'changed' and is currently known is a Gallade. It has several changes to its body such as a cape and more realistic blade shaped arms. How this happened we don't know but that is the current best known example.

A week passes quickly and I take the same class into the same pocket dimension. This time that crazy kid… no Vailein actually directly enters the fucking death zone? Better get ready to rescue him. Me and my Pokemon brace ourselves for a quick rescue but nothing happens. Why does nothing happen, normally everyone gets killed when they go there. His Mareep that he took last time vanishes just out of sight. Vaileins has a doting smile on his face but also a surprised look. It seems he sees a Pokemon that is highly valuable! I should tell the city overlord…. Huh, what should I tell that guy? Did I forget something? Again? Arg my head hurts a bit. Now where has that kid gone?

Looking around the dimension I spot him again after half an hour with a bright smile on his face having his Pokemon battle several Turtonators. Guess he didn't enter the death zone today either, or was lucky not to be killed in the death zone. But I feel like I should know more about that zone, arg my headache just got worse. Maybe I should visit the nurse after class.
