1 Chapter 1 - Immortal Legacy
Year 2200
Planet Earth
"Father, how strong are you?"
The light of the dawn was starting to shine on the young boy, no older than 10 years old and his father who seemed like he is in his 20s. They were sitting in the garden watching the sun rise from the high altitude they were at.
The boy wore a plain white t-shirt and grey pant. Upon looking at his cloths alone, one can not find anything unusual. But the thing that separated him from the kids his age were his red eyes shinning brightly and the short white hair he had which were fluttering in the gentle wind.
His father on the other hand wore lose clothes, had a lean figure and long yellow hair that moved down all the way to his knees. But despite his appearance, he gave off an aura that, if he wanted, he could lay all and every secrets of any person in front of them. His mere presence was enough for people to bow down subconsciously and declare their obedience.
"Hmm? Why did you suddenly ask that Luan? "
"Because... " Said Luan clearly embarrassed.
Watching his son's demeanor, his father couldn't help but chuckle.
"Hahaha. I see you're watching alot of animes and playing games aren't you? "
"Ye-yeah" Said luan as he continued speaking "Those characters are so strong! And some of them even has something called 'system' with them, which helps them get all too powerful!. "
"Haha I know, I've watched many of those and I couldn't help but be interested in that concept. Well anyway, about your question..." The man said as he looked at the enthusiastic kid.
He rubbed his chin and thought for a few seconds.
"Let's see, If I wanted I could just destroy one tenth of this world without too much serious consequences on me and the whole world if I was in my prime"
"Wow that's so coo-" But before Luan could finish his sentence a sweet voice of a women comes from their right.
"Breakfast is ready come here! "
Both father and son looks to the side to see the graceful beauty who was standing besides the door. Upon seeing the sight, anyone could forget everything around them and could get lost in her gaze. She had white hair, just like Luan and dark blue eyes with the height of 5'7 feet. But the duo was different, they saw her everyday, after all she was Luan's mother.
"Yes~ coming" Said Luan as he hurried towards his mother and his father followed behind.

After seeing the design of the house nothing out of the ordinary could be seen. The walls are ordinary and all the stuff in the house is also normal. But the thing that would get ones eyes is something glowing on the floor all around it. Those were runes, although their colour was faint, it could be seen if looked closely.
The trio sat down on the ground.
"Thank you for the food! " said the three as they started eating the meal in their not so big home.
"Mmm, the food today is especially tastier than everyday" said Luan as he continued eating.
"Is it? That's because I've made it with all my heart today! Haha" The women said with a smile.
"Oh, by the way, is your research complete Feroy?" Said the women looking at the man.
"Yeah Melia, it's almost done. I just need to need to put my Qi and it will start" Answered Feroy as his eyes drifted towards Melia.
After hearing the them, Luan asked, "What are you two talking about again? "
Hearing the oblivious kid, the couple smiled at him and Melia said, "it's your birthday gift! "
Luan was taken a back. He immediately knew that they would give him something unparalleled that he had never seen before. After all, knew that his parents were not normal people. Tho, the word "normal" would differ for him because they lived thens of thousands of feet away from the ground, in the sky, which only the people with supernatural abilities could do.
Melia continues from her previous sentence, "Today you've finally grown into a 10 year old, so we wanted to give you the best present we can!" She said smiling at the child and his father nodding beside her.
''Can I see it now!?" Luan said as he almost jumped from his place.
At this time, everyone had finished eating their food.
As if waiting for him to say that, his father gets up from his seat and walks towards him. He then puts his hand on Luan's forehead and says, "this will be incrediblly painful but bear with me." he continues "What I am about to give you is something that no one should know except...''
"Painful? Why would you hurt me? And who is this person you're talking about?" Luan asked bewildered at his father's action and words.
"Well, you'll know when you're strong enough. Now be ready"
After saying that, Feroy started the process, and with that Luan was welcomed by a huge surge pain.
「Implantation of the system has started」
「The process will take exactly 60 seconds」
「PROGRESSION: 1% 」
Just after he heard that, Luan experienced unbelievable amount of pain. It exploded in his head with a blinding whiteness. If he could describe it, it will be like someone was hitting him with every bit of their strength with a burning steel rod.
"AHHHHHHHHHHHH!!! "
Luan was screaming with all his might.
Luan wanted to faint but he could not, he wanted to move his body but that too was impossible.
「PROGRESSION: 10% 」
"Luan I know this is really painful, but please if you want to survive, this is necessary! please endure this! " Feroy said while holding his emotions. Same could be said about Melia, She was on the blink of crying.
They could not bear to watch their son going through so much pain. Even though they have seen worse in their life.

Hearing his parents, Luan's motivation to live increased and thus he was trying to ignore the pain, but that's all he could do, 'try'. And it didn't make a single drop of difference.
「PROGRESSION: 97% 」
After just one minute, which seemed like eternity to Luan, the pain finally calmed down and he went to sleep immediately.

That day, Luan had a dream.
He was not at his home but a different house. He looked at The walls, they were off white colour and the floor was made out of tatami mats. He looked out of the window. It was an average 2 floor house. He didn't know why but he immediately knew this wasn't Earth but a different world.
Luan had most of his consciousness and he could think almost clearly. The next thing he noticed was the sweet fragrance of the room. It was something he had never smelled before.
As for his surrounding, the place was unfamiliar to Luan, but yet, it was really familiar
'Like it is supposed to be my home'

After 6 hours, Luan wakes up
"Huh? What happened...Oh I remember" Luan said as he touched his head which was now covered in bandages.
"You're finally awake" said someone with a calming voice, it was of course luan's mother.
"How do you feel? " asked his father as he looked at Luan.
"I think this is the best I've every felt."
"That's good, you were bleeding alot before"
"I...See, what did you do to me? " Asked Luan as he looked down.
"We implanted a 'system' into you, that would help you get strong incredibly quickly. "
Upon hearing this, Luan was dumbfounded because all of this was happening way too quickly.
"No, no I am not getting this" Luan said with a puzzled face.
"I know you have a lot to talk about. Now Luan let me tell you who we are" said Luan's father as he looked at Luan with serious face.
"I was the ruler of a Wuxia world called Spirit world. I was the greatest researcher and cultivator there. Your mother, Melia, was the greatest Rune Master " Feroy continued "Roughly 200 years ago we made a treasure that could fast time in an isolated space and thus many other immortal cultivators wanted it for themselves. we faught day and night just to stay alive. Even though we were the strongest people on the planet, we couldn't hold on against such a number of people. I sustained many injuries, and in the end, we ran away. This is the whole short story of your parents." Feroy said while giving a weak smile.
"Then how did you manage to get to this other world? " Luan asked
"Although it would have been impossible for other people to survive in the star universe, I was closer to reaching the realm where one could. I used every bit of my qi to keep our body strong enough to survive there, and ended up here"
"what about the system?" luan asked he was getting impatient and confused.
Melia answered, "When we got here Feroy reached next realm and could survive the star universe if he wanted...but our hope was quickly vanished as we noticed that this world called 'Earth' did not have any qi in it and we would have to rely on the star universe to get a little bit of it."
As Melia was explaining things to Luan, he had mixed emotions about things. He was not from this planet, he was the son of the two strongest immortals in history of this so called 'spirit world' and people are still looking for them.
"Then why was I born? " Luan asked in a bitter voice.
"I Discovered my ability to forsee into the future and I saw that someone was retaliating against the immortals. That was you, Son"
"From that day on we used all of our knowledge of the previous world and this world to make this so called system. We didn't wanted our legacy to be left behind after we die in a few days. "
"... What? "
"You are gonna die in a few days? " Said Luan as he looked at his parents with his eyes widen.
"Yes" said his parents weakly smiling
"Wha-I mean why would you die! " Luan was confused, at this point, he didn't even know what to think and feel about this situation. After all he was just a 10 year old kid who just had an abnormal intelligence. And intelligence does not mean a strong mentality.
"It's not like we want to die, but out circumstances are difficult" said his mother looking away.
"The immortals who are after us will come here any day and we can't get away" said his father
"Anyway, you should have the basic knowledge of how to use the system. I want to give something else to you that is just as valuable as the system."
With that, he moved his hand in front of him as if to get something out of space. The next thing that happened shocked Luan. As his father moved his hand forward, a dark wave of 'wind' circled around his hand as if getting something out of the space around him. The next thing he knew, there was a Scythe in his father's hand.
"This is the treasure I wanted to give you"
As soon as he saw the scythe, Luan knew it was...
"The treasure that you talked about?"
