Chapter 8: Landing

'The space station is out of control. The guys are asleep. The systems are offline. I think, this time I got really unlucky' thought a brunette youth with a lifeless face. His hands were clenching into a fist. He started remembering his past.

.....

Kim: "Dad.... do I really need to go in space?"

Kim's dad: "But of course, you are perfectly trained and right know NASA needs more people to participate in their space research. Also don't forget you are from the Tung family. All your cousins and siblings either work at NASA or in SpaceX."

On Kim's dad face there was a bright smile. But Kim himself had a sad face.

Kim: "Dad.... I don't think this is for me. You know .... I still have those panic attacks..... maybe we should tell Mr Brown about this."

Kim's dad face suddenly turned grim. He started yelling.

Kim's dad: "DON'T YOU DARE TO DISGRACE OUR FAMILY! Mr Brown doesn't need to know about your problem, that's it, end of the talk."

Kim: "But dad I...."

Without letting his son to finish Kim's dad interrupted.

Kim's dad: "END OF THE TALK!!"

.....

'I shouldn't have listened to him, now my live is going to FREAKING END!!!!' thought Kim with a scared face. He was having a panic attack. He clenched his face with his hands and turned into a flying hysteric.

On the other hand Ivan was soundly asleep with a creepy smile on his face. He was having a really weird dream, he was in one of his favourite anime, Bleach. He was fighting Ichigo with a bottle of whiskey. But during one of their collisions Ivan's bottle broke. Ivan was so enraged he turned into an asteroid and flew to Ichigo with a battle thirsty expression.

And last but not least John was slowly opening his eyes. His body was still glowing, but it looked like it was unbelievably painful.

He started screaming with tears in his eyes.

John: "AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHH"

The scream awakened Ivan and Kim.

Kim immediately ran towards John to check on him, while Ivan tried to navigate through the room in his half drunk state.

Kim: "HEY JOHN, WHAT IS THIS, WHY ARE YOU GLOWING!?"

John responded with a more devastating scream. Suddenly Ivan and Kim heard an annoyed voice in their heads.

Voice: 'What a fragile vessel😑 I should split some energy between these two.'

Then two streaks of light engulfed both Ivan and Kim, unlike John they stayed conscious.

Kim: "I am officially going nuts!!!"

Ivan: "I think I had a little too much"

John: "ah..ah...ah....finally ... the pain... is gone"

Everyone are stressed and confused, so many things happened in the past 20. They are literally flying towards their doom with no chance for survival. But there is a certain someone who doesn't care about others and has a mission to accomplish.

Voice: "You three, do you know how to destroy a lot of swirly things?😐"

Kim/John/Ivan: "Huh/Fil?"

Fil: "I think you lot also call them 'black holes'"

Fil was really excited at first about his new discovery, humans. He scanned John's brain after he integrated with him and received all of his memories. At first it was really fun, but after a while it got boring. Their life style wasn't to his licking. Work, work, work. Fil is lazy, such lifestyle is not for him.

Ivan: "The hell?! There is a voice in my had again! I thought doctor said there were no problems anymore! Motherf**** lied to me😠"

Kim: "I think my panic attacks are getting worse😨"

John: "Hey Fil, we are a little bit busy with another matter! Maybe you can help us, after which we could help you?"

After a little pause Fil gave a short response.

Fil: "Logical, I accept your offer"

....

It's 6 pm, the Sun's light are beginning to 'descend' from Mount Fuji.

People all over Tokyo were starring towards the sky with their mouths open and some where even kneeling on the ground. A giant construction which was engulfed in whitish red light was descending like God's smite.

People started to panicking and running. They didn't know where to run, but they knew, if they stayed, only death awaited them.

And finally, the giant structure landed and destroyed dozens of buildings probably killing thousands in those split seconds.

After the dust settled down 3 figures emerged.
