Chapter 10: Manga shop

Middle-aged woman: "my... my son.....my poor baby..... they....all.... are gone....."

When the space station crashed, there was nearly no survivors. The ones that survived were swallowed by despair. She was one of them.

Just a minute ago she was buying groceries with her children. She left her baby with the older son and went to the toilet.

While washing her hands she felt something like an earthquake and immediately ran out.

The buildings were destroyed, the roads were filled with scraps and everything was filled with corpses of people. It's a living hell. But then, while wandering around(trying to find the kids) she noticed a tall figure👤. At first she wanted to run away because he was naked, but then she remembered that this man might have seen her kids.

Before she could do or say anything he walked to her and with the most serious face she had ever seen he said "Do you know where is the closest manga shop?"

Middle-aged woman: "huh?"

The woman was really confused, she didn't understand what was happening. Perhaps, she misheard him. She wanted to ask about her children, but suddenly the figure asked again.

Figure: "I will repeat. Do you know where is the closest manga shop? If not, I will ask someone else"

Middle-aged woman: "Wait! Before that! Did you see a black haired kid around this hight with a baby in his hands?! Please! Those are my children!! Help me find them!!"

A single ray of hope, the single clue that this woman had was crushed by the figures next words.

Figure: "No, I didn't see them. I have seen a lot of bodies on my way here and there were little kids among them, but I do not remember their features. I told you what I know. Now answer my question"

Middle-aged woman: "*Falls on knees* n....no... m...my...kids...*Low crying noises* my babies....*Starts crying loudly* AAHHHHHHHHH"

Figure: "I guess I will not get an answer like this. Let me see what you have inside your head"

The figure shot a light beam at her and after around 7 seconds he found what he needed. The woman fell unconscious.

He 'retrieved' the white beam and started walking in the direction that the woman came from.

Fil was walking along a destroyer road searching for the place that he has seen in the woman's memory, Ichiraku Manga Shop.

While walking he heard a voice calling. It was calling for help. He also heard a baby's cry.

Fil didn't stop and kept walking in the same direction.

Black haired boy: "Hey!!! MR NAKED!!! Please help us!!! I can't hold any longer!!"

Fil didn't turn his, but he still saw the face of the figure that was calling for help. It was a black haired boy, around 16 years of age. He was in a collapsed building, he was surrounded by walls and the ceiling above his head was collapsing. He could probably escape by himself, but there was a small baby right beneath him.

But Fil just walked past them like it was nothing.

Right after Fil walked past the black haired kid, the ceiling fell.

Fil still continued walking. But one could see a thin white light coming out of his back and going right into the rubble.

Fil: "There.The shop is in that direction"

The rubbles started shaking and the black haired boy emerged from the rubble with a baby in his hands.

He looked confused and didn't know what happened or why. All his and the baby's bodies were surrounded by a white light. It saved them. The only question was where it came from. He looked around and saw. no one.

Black haired boy: "Shhhhhhh. It's okay, Samantha. Everything is alright. Let's go look for mommy."

[Inside the destroyed shop]

Fil: "Some of these are damaged. This section is fine. Let's see."

Fil looked at the enormous book in his hands and tried to read the title. From the memories of Kim he could speak and read in both Chinese and Japanese.

Fil: "Naruto?"
