8 six years time skip and steele fang wolves

3rd POV

In an uncharted forest on a far coastal island called {the dead woods}, filed with strange magical creatures and monsters of all kind. A young man wearing a blindfold was facing off against a pack fifteen steel fang dyer wolves. He had long crimson red hair that reached all the way to his back. His hair was braided in a ponytail. He was a tall, lean and muscular man reaching 1.92m in height. He was wearing {black KEN PO GI with no sleeves with red flame markings}.

This young man was none other than our protagonist Nero Giovanni. Nero spent the last six years of his life after leaving meteor city traveling to all kinds uncharted pleases to trine. It took him three years to master the aura manual to its perfection. He also mastered all the basics and advanced application of NEN, and after going through water divination. His NEN category turned out to be conjuration. But thanks to his gift [unrivaled blessing of the supreme god king] he could still access all categories at full capacity. In that time he developed four NEN ability's. But unless he was facing off agents a hard opponent he only used this two

Crimson wings:

It was conjuration and enhancement base ability that lets him fly just like a bird. This ability giving him a pair of wings on his back just like an angle. He can make them appear and disappear at will. On the limitation that he must learn how to fly just like baby birds do. This ability of his made traveling easy. With it he didn't have to deal with border controls. Since he did not have the necessary peppers to travel to anywhere.

And the other one was called

Clothe synthesis:

It was also a conjuration based NEN ability that helps him recreate clothing. On the condition that he had worn them before and remembers how they looked. Which is where the GI he was wearing came from. It was the same GI his master made for him bake in his past world. So it had a lot of sentimental value to him.

He spent the next two year after mastering the last part of the mortal volume called the soul manual. Unlike the proviso ones this one only has two parts instead of three. These parts are called the Soule awaking, and the Soule strengthening.

By finishing the first part of the manual [sole strengthening]:

His life force and will power were immensely enhanced {up to 500~600 years}.

Makes him immune to all most all illusions and mind control {so no manipulation ability can work on him}.

And by mastering the Soule awakening part:

He can sever the thread that connects his body to his soul without dying making him able to leave his body in Soule form. His astrophysical form I s invisible to the normal visual spectrum and no physical attacks can harm him in Soule form. While in Soul form his body will react to any stimuli based on instincts {essentially his body is in auto mode}.

But there was a range to the distance his soul can go outside of his body which was [500m] to be exact. If his soul goes any farther than that he will forcibly be back in his body. And lastly can use mild telekinesis, being able to manipulate small object around him.

His travels eventually ended him up in this forest called {the deadwood}. In this forest, there were a lots of strange magical creatures and even some undocumented ones. He has been in this forest for the last year with a blindfold trying to improve and see the limits of his observation haki. His adventure eventually leads him to encounter the binges known as ghosts of the deadwood forests {the steel fang wolves}.

Right now he was intruding on their lair where they keep their pups so the whole pack was confronting him. Though he was facing agents a literal pack of wolves that were notorious for their ferocity, he looked so relaxed. It was the wolves that seemed to be on edge of him, instead.

These big wolves did not pose any threat to him though. He was only using them to train his haki better. For at least a month now he has been tracking and taunting them to attack him. And whenever they do that, he would just focus on dodging them until they tire themselves out.

There were two reasons why he was doing this. One of these wolves were the fastest thing you could find in this forest. Though their big size did not suggest it they were extremely nimble creatures. The second reason was he was trying to see if he can awaken future sight haki like. And just to achieve that he spent the last two year of his life with a blindfold completely shutting off his sense of sight.

But the poor animals just did not know how to deal with this bothersome human. Their speed and nimbleness that they were so proud of and earned them the nickname [ghosts of the deadwood] by the hunters who come to survey the forest occasionally, had no value at all. Nero's reaction time was just leagues above the norm. Nonmatter how much they tried could they could even scratch him much less touch him.

The neve faced of an opponent as him before. Though they did encounter some humans before but none of them was as frustrating as this one. They could tell that he was just messing with them and if he so desired he could end them all. But just abandon their young ones in the face of this monster. No to preserve their future all of the adults were ready to lay down their lives to take this monster down if it cost demanded it so.

[Nero POV]

It has now been two months since I have been playing with these pups, and it would seams this is as far as they could push me. I no longer even feel any sense of urgency from facing them. The first time I met one of these guys, one of them almost bit my head clean. The tricky little beast somehow managed to slip past my observation haki field. If I didn't react at the last moment duo to its blood lust I would have been a goner.

Their bite force of this best was noting to scoff at, if not for my quick reflexes that thing would have crashed my head like a watermelon. With my carnet body, normal blunt force weapons were useless agents me. I could tank an RPG point-blank without getting injured. Yet when I blocked its attack with my left arm. The force of his bite crushed the bones in my forearm like a grinder.

Granted I did not use armament haki at that time. If I didn't react fast and dislocate its jaw with a quick chop to the side of its head, it would have ripped my arm clean of. This things could literally shred and rip metal like it was made of pepper with their fangs'. I guess their name was not just a cool title the people dubbed them after all.

When I was coming here I was warned by a hunter to be warry of them, but I only thought he was exaggerating noting more. Guess I was wrong and my broken arm could attest to that fact. My arm healed within a weak with no scars so I was not worried about it. But ever since then I have been following and tracing them by their sent. Their ability to console themselves was superb and it proved hard to find them.

Whenever I was on their tail they would run away or hide and reposition themselves for a sneak attack. Unless I corner them almost all the time they would never choose a head-on fight. Frankly speaking my bouts of hiding and seek battles with them have been the high light of my time in this forest. It took me some time to study them and their habits.

There was only one pack of these wolves in the whole forest. They only hunt or fight in a united pack only when there is an intruder in their layer where they keep their pups. The rest of the time they hunt in a single or a pair of two for bigger targets.

Usually, there are only two adult male wolfs protecting the mother and the pups at all times near their lair. And if they ever feel even the slightest presences of an intruder. They will howl signaling for the rest of the pack to return. Their pack was made of fifteen adults wolfs and six pups.

This was my last to myself in this forest, this was the first time I was facing the whole pack together as one. If I can't awaken future sight haki even after this, it only means this is as far as I can go in this forest.

[Nero] "Well then guys what are you wanting for let the dance commence"
