5 Living in Meteor city part 2

[NERO'S POV]

Another year passed and I was five years old. At that time all I could think about was [Just one more year till I start cultivating]. The only important thing that happened that year that I can think of was I met my first friend [Okay she was more of a stalker than a friend but semantics]. Her name was Genkai Maori.

She was a year younger than me and like myself she was also a trash baby found by Mr. Mie and brought to live here in the monastery about a year ago. I remember here because when he brought here she was dripping with blood from fresh wounds on her back. If not for the help of the nun she wouldn't have made it out alive. He found here in the midst of a bunch of dead bodies.

She had brown eyes and pink red hair. She was the silent type, she never bothered to talk to any one if she didn't have to and barley showed interest in anything or anyone. Her eyes were hallow with no light in them. A look fitting for someone who lost everything.

Which is why I was surprised at first when I found out she was stalking me. It did not bother me much at first since she never told on me or what I was doing. But now that I think about it was more like she never knew what I was doing. The postures I was taking while conducting my breathing technique were weird at best and derange/crazy at worst. Whenever I tried to talk to her she would just run away.

When I finally got ski of this game of cat and mouse I cornered her and caught her. When I finally asked her why she was following me all around? She said "I wanted to know why you are so strong even though you are just like me chilled"

(Cine 3rd POV)

[Nero] "Why do you want to know that? Don't the monastery train everyone the same?"

[Genkai] "I may be a chilled but I am not naïve what they teach us there is nothing but basics surviving and that is not what I want what I want is to be strong like you"

[Nero] "But there are alts of people older than me here who are strong why don't you ask them instead of me"

[Genkai] "I don't want to cause they will al way ask something in return and I feel like you won't"

[Nero] "So you are basically saying you chose me because you think I am easy?"

[Genkai] "YES!!"

[Nero] {(-__-)}

Nero let go of her ad started waking way.

[Genkai] "NOOOOOOOOOOO!! Please wait don't go you are the only chance I have" she said grabbing on to his hand.

[Nero] {Sigh}

[Nero] "Just why do you want to be strong anyway?"

When Nero asked her that question her entire demeanor changed. Nero felt a menacing aura coming from her and he instinctively jumped a few feet away from her

[Nero] {What the hell was that? How can that much killing intent come from a small child?}

It was only for a moment but Nero felt like there where thousands of needles piercing his skin at the same time.

[Genkai] "I need to get stronger nonmatter what so please help me" she said

Nero sow the immense determination look in her eyes while she pleaded him. He couldn't help to think back to what his master once told him back in his normal world.

(Flashback style activate)

[Nero's Master] "Nero what do you think most excellent drive for someone to get stronger is?"

[Nero] "A strong will I guess"

[Nero's Master] "Oho ho ho ho. I thought you would say that"

[Nero] "Then what is it then?"

[Nero's Master] "Though a strong will is needed to seek strength, it is not the most excellent drive"

[Nero's Master] "In all my life I found none belter than this two extreme {love and hate}"

[Nero] "Love and Hate?? Why this two in particular"

[Nero's Master] "Think about it Nero when we can take you and I for example. Your love for martial art so much that it does not matter to you whether you win or lose as long as you learn something new you are driven by extreme love for martial arts. As for me I am driven by one thing {I hate to lose the moment I lose a fight is the moment I die}."

[Nero] "Ow master never thought you will go philosophical on me now"

[Nero's master] "Stop being cheeky boy and listen to me. If you ever find someone like that know that no sacrifice is too big or small for them to attain their extrema {love or hate}, it is also the reason I accepted you as my only direct disciple out of all my students, and because of it you adapt, learn fast and continue to get stronger"

[Nero] "Why do you want to be strong so badly?" he asked her

[Genkai] "Because I F***N HATE BEING WEAK!!!!" she said grinding her teeth.

Nero was contemplating on what to do next should he help her or not. But ether why one thing was clear she was not going to stop following him any time soon.

[Nero's POV]

Genkai Maori even for a child of this city her gaze was just too intense for me. You could fell the bottomless desirer for strength that was oozing from her. After thinking over it for a while I said to her "I don't know if you can get as strong as me but if you want me to train you know this you will wish you haven't asked me" as I said that I could not help but to think back to my Master

[Nero] {Is this what master felt when he found me?}

In both my life's I did not see someone with this much determination to get strong, so much that she even made my heart beat fast. For me getting stronger was nothing more than a byproduct of my love for the martial arts and its extensive history in all of its forms. Wining a matches or losing them did not mean much for me as long as ended up learned something new every day. But for her it was the opposite she desired unrivaled strength. Martial art was just the mince to get there.

[Nero] {My firs disciple and I am only five years}

From that day onward Genkai became my disciple. With the help of [Alfa] I devised a training regimen for her that was not as intense as mine but was still hell for a chilled of her age. And little by little I increased the intensity whenever she showed signs of improvement. She would continue till she would pass out from exhaustion. Her determination and perseverance shocked me at times. To tell at first I was only intrigued by her but eventually her indomitable will won me over. Even my one will was lacking when compared to hers. But this kind of determination can only come from two things insanity or vengeance.

[Nero] {If you want unrivaled strength you have to pay its price}

As for her potential and talent, it was monstrous. If not for my gifts I doubt I couldn't hold a candela to her. Her instincts where as sharp as a beast and within just year of training, her martial skill art improved so much, that she could take down any adult person with ease, the only thing she was lacking at the moment was core and upper body strength.

After another year of hard work and training and mentoring Genkai. It was finally the day I turned six years old. I have waited for this day so eagerly and patiently. The day I could finally start training the first volume of the heavenly tempering cultivation technique.

Siting in a lotus position I closed my eyes and communicated with [Alfa].

Right now I could only practice the first volume the cultivation technique. It called the mortal volume it has three manuals called (the body, the aura, and the soul) refinement manual. The first part also had three part, the refinement of flesh and muscles, the refinement of internal organs, and lastly the refinement of bones and energy channels (meridians).

The proses was consisted of complex berthing styles and stances. The whole process lasted for a four year of constantly braking and rebuilding my whole body. The pained was unbearable at sometimes. Especially the second and last part of body manual the bone and energy path way formation {meridians}, it was gruesome and painful. Proses but the result was noting to scoff at. After four year my overall strength was enhanced by at least ten time, I could feel a raging flow of energy throughout may body.

The technique said after finishing the first part of the mortal volume. The user gains 100% of their physical capability instead of the usual 20% without any reparations or fear of damage or over exhaustion. Increases the information processing capability of the brained by ten times. Makes them immune to all most all poisons and diseases by increasing the immunity system of the body. And gives your natural healing ten times faster than normal.

Since Genkai was a year younger and she as ben only doing the regiment for a year I had her go through the regiment one more year before I gave her the manual for the body refining. Hear progress was just a little bit slower than Maine, right now she is she just starting the second part of it [internal organs refinement] yesterday. As for me, I was starting the second part of the mortal volume and that was aura awaking.

In this world, NEN is or essentially the life force of every living being. The power system that the expert uses here. It is driven from their life force. But in my case, things were a little different. The aura that you awaking using the cultivation technique is a bit different from the aura that the riddance of this world can awaken.

The aura garneted by the cultivation technique is a combination of your one life force and natural energy that exists within the world or in other words the spiral energy of the world itself {just like sage chakra for the Naruto world}.

This part also divided into three stages. The first part is the awaking of your aura. The second part is the gathering and merging of your aura and the spiritual energy of the world to form what is called true qi. And the last part is called condensation/core formation. The first part is the easiest since it is just awakening NEN, and achieving mastery of its basic principles is good enough to start the second part.

Closing my eyes I sat in the lotus position I started to regulate my birthing as per the manual to sense my aura. It took some time but gradually I started to feel it, a steady stream of energy was constantly leaking out of my body. Little by little the feeling became clearer and clearer. And it wasn't long after that I completely grasped the flow of my aura. The only thing left for me to do now is achieving TEN and I would move on.
