'Huh, a quest?' Kosuke thought.

'Alfred, explain the quest further.'

[Affirmative, Host. Host has initiated his first quest in which the mission requirements is that you protect Sena Hoshimiya from harm.]

'What about the rewards? Is there a rarity range?'

[There is no rarity range for the items in the System Shop Host, but it is organized through its price range. Since this is your first quest since you got here, The quality of the items in the mysterious pack will be equal to or between 2,000,000-5,000,000 SP granted by yours truly.]

'Eh, really?! Thank you, System!'

[I am here to aid, Host.]

As they were talking in his mind, Kosuke and Sena went down the hospital elevator. Sena on the side looked at Kosuke, looking at the front absentmindedly in the elevator. Seeing this, she asked, "Kosuke-nii, are you okay?" while cutely title her head to the side.

Kosuke flinched as he heard Sena call him out, waking him up from his "absentmindedness", to which he embarrassly woke up from his stupor as he said, "I'm here, I'm here," as he scratched his head while chuckling a bit.

Sena giggled at her not related by blood brother's antics. Seeing this, Kosuke smiled. But that didn't last for long as the elevator has already stopped to its last destination: the ground floor lobby wherein Sena was supposed to wait for Eiji in the hospital.

As the elevator opened, what greeted the two were not what they expected: a number of men, presumably soldiers judging from their green fatigue, and the redeeming factor that is their guns pointing at them inside the elevator.

They heard a voice calling them out saying, "Get out of the elevator."

Hearing this, Sena got nervous as she looked at Kosuke, to which he reassured her, saying, "It's going to be okay, I'm going to protect you." Hearing her brother's words, Sena nodded as the both of them left the elevator doors.

The two of them went out of the elevator, with Sena getting curious in knowing what is happening with a hint of nervousness and fear in her eyes, and she saw a girl standing in front of them, one whom Kosuke knew very well as it is the new transfer student and classmate, Kurenai Rin, holding a sword?

But since Kosuke already knew that she was going to be there, he started to act.

"K-Kurenai Rin?"

"Oh? If it isn't.... Um... Oh! Kosuke-kun isn't it?"

She slowly tilted her head cutely to the side, trying to recall who the boy was until she recognized his name, saying it with a smile.

"What are you doing here?"

"None of that matters, but I would say the same to you. Why are you here?" She said, but continued slowly, her expression seemingly manic to Kosuke's eyes, "If you weren't here, together with Sena Hoshimiya, then you wouldn't be a leverage for me to use."

Rin called out to two of the soldiers, saying, "Hold him." The soldiers then proceeded to walk to Kosuke. Kosuke could've used Star Platinum and incapacitate the two but stopped since it's not yet the right time to be showing his powers, thus, he still acted out.

The soldiers each got his arms and separated him from Sena.

"Let me go!"

"Kosuke-nii!"

Sena called out frantically but before she got to say anything more, Rin unsheathed her sword and put it near Sena.

"What?! What are you going to do to Sena?!" Seeing that happen, He almost lost his cool and almost sent out Star Platinum, once again, not to incapacitate, but to decapitate these sons of b**ches for even trying to lay a hand on Sena.

"Oh, Kosuke-kun, I'm not going to do anything on Sena Hoshimiya." Rin replied but continued, "Not yet anyway," showing a smile that is not a smile.

After the conversation, they heard sounds of footsteps coming from behind, and hearing it, Rin, along with the others looked at the source of the sound to see Reiji approaching them, clutching his left arm.

Reiji was surprised, seeing Rin, even moreso as he saw Sena near her and Kosuke being held by soldiers at the back.

"Let's set aside the question about why I'm still alive, since the real issue here is your unidentified 'power'." (A/N: got this from the manga)

"Let them go!" (Eiji)

"Oh sure, I'll let your sister go, on the roof, that is however..." (Rin) (A/N: yep, got this one too)

As she said it, she raised her sword, with the tip of the blade facing Sena's back.

"She's going to die if you don't hurry and get her the medical treatment that she needs!" (Rin) (A/N: oh this one as well)

She let her sword downwards, aiming to strike at Sena.

Eiji called out to Sena, but before the tip of the blade touched Sena's back, the blade stopped in its place, as if "something" was preventing it from going further to Sena.

Eiji and the soldiers were shocked at the scene and Rin had her eyebrows furrowed as she tried to put more strength to her arm, gradually putting her all into it only to fail.

She got surprised at her failed attempt and her face changed into shock.

'What? I still can't move down my arm even when I'm using my full strength?!'

As she thought to herself, she, along with everyone else, heard a sound.

"...Oi. Teme (You)."

They looked over at the sound to see Kosuke the one saying it.

He was still being held by the soldiers on both his arms. With his head facing downwards, and with the bangs covering his eyes, he said, "If you ever harm Sena..." he then raised his head and Rin saw a glaring light in his eyes. "...I'll beat you up."

"Star Platinum!"

"Oraaa!"

Out of nowhere, an invisible force shot at Rin, hitting her at the side. The contact made a depression between that force and her body, then she was flung away in a destructive manner, sending her flying through the countless rooms in the same floor.

All the onlookers were shocked at the spectacle, Eiji and Sena as well. Who wouldn't? Seeing someone get flung far away in such a destructive manner and not see anything that can be the cause of what happened.

The two soldiers who were holding Kosuke down had their eyes as if they fell out of their sockets and their mouths opened wide, then they were also sent flying to the sides, hitting the wall, losing consciousness in an instant.

Being free from the restraint, Kosuke tidied himself up. Looking to the people around him, he cracked his head, shoulders, and knuckles as he said,

"...So, who's next?"
