"Shit! What happened? Why are those guys aiming their guns at me!?"

Zhu Mo realized that after waking up from his strange dream he found himself suddenly waking up being greeted by guns aimed at his direction.

"HOLD! Don't move or we'll shoot!"

The soldier suddenly said to him.

When he saw that the soldiers were really intent on shooting him he panicked.

He laid prone to the ground immediately while putting his hands on his back to show the guys that he has no stupid plans on fighting them.

When the soldiers so his actions they were quite puzzled at first. They thought that this guy just turned into one of those freaks but his actions just now told otherwise.

To confirm their suspicions they started to asked him questions.

"Hold your position if we see you do something weird we'll shoot you immediately! Now answer our questions honestly then maybe we can fix this much sooner"

When Zhu Mo heard their statement he relaxed slightly but when he heard the final words spoken by the soldiers he was quite confused on what they meant but maybe due to his current situation he just chucked it at the back of his mind.

"Ok sir i'll do anything you ask just don't kill me please"

"Then who are you?"

"My name is Zhu Mo sir"

"What were you doing here getting involved in this shit?"

"Sir I was just on my way to work when all of this started to happened, at first i thought it was just a simple traffic jam so i went out to check it out, when i started to get close enough i suddenly started to see this cracks..."

Zhu Mo told the soldiers everything that happened to him prior to that and stopped at the moment when he was suddenly chased by a black unknown matter and waking up being pointed with the soldiers guns.

When they heard his story they were a bit surprised because in the whole story that the guy in front of them just mentioned, it seems to them that the guy does not even know what he look like right now so to clarify their doubts they finally asked him.

"Do you know what you look like right now?"

When Zhu Mo heard their questions he was quite puzzled but due to him still being in a prone position he can't really determine what he look like right now, and so he just answered them what he honestly thought.

"Well i'm in my office uniform right now and maybe quite dirty because of the surroundings? me crawling and being exploded and such who wouldn't get dirty. Wait why are you guys asking me this anyway?"

When the soldiers heard his answer they don't know how to tell him that he looks like one of those humanoid freaks right now. Fearful that the guy might turn crazy after seeing his appearance they just shut their mouths to avoid trouble.

"Never mind that, before we can release you we must make you sleep first do you have any objections?"

When Zhu Mo heard those words he was puzzled, so he asked

"Why do you need to make me sleep though?"

"It's one of the military protocols when it comes to handling civilians so don't you worry we'll do something bad to you, just trust us we were sent by the government to protect civilians anyways."

When he heard what the other guy said, h e was still a bit suspicious so he asked them if they can prove that they were really soldiers sent by the government. When he saw their credentials he started to relax and let them inject some sleeping serum into him, after a few minutes he started to get dizzy and finally fell asleep.

What Zhu Mo didn't know that he was lied to by the two soldiers, there was no such things as letting the civilian sleep as part of the protocols, the captain and his aide just made it all up to prevent further disasters and now they reported to the higher-ups on what just happened when they received an order that they could not let the person be harmed and that they must protect him no matter the cost.

Back at the field of battle the monk and the swordsman were in a particularly sticky situation. The monster already destroyed a quarter of the arhat beads that the monk laid which made the formation even weaker.

"Damn it why is this thing still so strong?!"

The swordsman asked

"I already told you it's the worlds energy that's making this thing so strong. Unless something can be done about it then everything will be useless"

The monk replied.

When the swordsman heard the monks reply he was fuming furious. Why the hell did this happen anyways? For him fighting this things was already a part of his life since he started to wield the sword. Some of the monsters he had fought in the past were strong but not like this one where he's always at deaths edge.

When they were starting to fall into despair a voice was suddenly heard behind them.

"It seems that i was not too late after all"

When the monk and the swords man heard someone was behind them, they turned around to look for a moment to identify the newcomer.

When they saw the person behind them they were quite surprised because they knew the person that just talked to them.

The guy was wearing an old inquisitorial uniform that was used by the people in medieval times. He has a silver cross that was dangling in his neck, he also has a bible in his left hand while clutching some unknown material in his right hand.

"What the hell are you doing here"

The swordsman asked in a surprised manner.

Since medieval times inquisitors were quite well known in how they handle certain matters. When a person is suspected of being involved in certain devious activities, it has been the inquisitors job wring out the truth. Though sometimes certain measures were considered inhuman and just plain brutal which led to the deaths of many people.

The inquisition spanned almost all of western Europe at the time until the age of enlightenment arrived when their numbers started to dwindle to extinction.

Little did the people know that they just went into hiding. Secretly protecting Europe in the darkness of society against the abomination that has plagued humanity for so many years.

What odd in this current situation is that even though inquisitors influence spanned quite far they shouldn't have any influence in Asia, if there is then it would be quite small.

Whats happening now though is quite inconceivable to them, an inquisitor in Hua....

"Don't be alarmed i just came here to help..."

The inquisitor told to them when saw their reactions.

"What are you doing here in Hua? I thought your peoples jurisdiction only includes Europe?"

Ask the swordsman.

When the Inquisitor heard his question he replied in a solemn tone...

"The head priest asked me to come here to discuss something with your faction, I was on my way when suddenly a dark energy suddenly passed overhead of me and so i decided to follow it. After following for a few minutes I saw you guys getting destroyed by that thing so i came up with a decision to just help you defeat it and at the same time show my sincerity to you people by doing so"

When the two heard his explanation they can only grumble in acceptance because honestly as of the moment their asses are getting kicked by the monster too badly already.

But before they could even respond the captain of the force suddenly came to them carrying something unknown behind his back....

"Sir we have problem..."

When all of the people at the location heard his words they immediately scrutinized the person he had just carried, and when they saw his current appearance the inquisitor suddenly said to them

"Destroy that thing immediately!"

After saying those words he immediately tried to kill Zhu Mo when suddenly he was blocked by the captain and his aide...

"YOU CAN'T TOUCH HIM!"

The captain immediately shouted after drawing his gun.

"What the hell are you guys doing protecting that abomination!"

The inquisitor asked

"Who are you to ask us?!"

The aide retaliated in anger after seeing the weirdly robed priest trying to kill their package

"Who I am is of no concern to you ignorant people, whats important right now is that time is running out! We must destroy that thing immediately!"

When the Captain heard his words he was suddenly put in a dilemma.

On one hand his superiors orders told them to protect the guys while on the other hand one of the concern for the safety of his man.

What he didn't know that the decision he made today will affect mankind greatly in the future.
