E.Ast Highschool

Walking down the hallway, was a guy with black and white hair, he wore the school's uniform of a white shirt, black tie, red blazer and black trousers with sneakers, he hung his bag across his shoulder, he looked simple and frail. But as this guy walked the students on the way seem to path ways for him. This guy is Raven Regina E.Ast Highschool's rumored freak. 

Raven paused in his steps as he stares ahead, a group of boys surrounded another boy who seem to be shaking in fear, the opposing boy had a broad build and was huge. Raven sighed when he saw this, "Danny, let's go home" 

Danny, the boy who was shaking seemed to have gained strength in his legs as he rushed out of the encirclement and stood behind Raven who put his hands in his pocket as he stared at the huge guy who had a scowl on bis face. 

"Raven", the huge guy growled the name as the boys with him looked at Raven with disdain. 

"Focker" Raven just said, the students were already gathering around as they waited to watch a good show, as they murmured amongst themselves.

"Ain't you being too cocky, just because you're strong, you know there's strength in numbers" Focker said implying on the word number, his lackeys surrounded Raven and Danny. Focker was the thug of the school and nobody has ever gone against as much as Raven did, and he has been hearing rumors about Raven's strength. 'looking at this scrawny body of his, I'm sure it's all made so he wouldn't be bullied, I'll teach him a lesson today then' 

"Do you know something, Focker, the weak believe in strength in numbers?" Raven said as he looked at the end of the hallway, at the corner a man stood there as he stared at the doorpost and as if he felt Raven's gaze he looked and their eyes met, and the man gave Raven a wide grin to which the latter frowned.

Focker grinned, "we just have to see, hmm?... others might fear you, but I, Focker , do not, boys let's thrash this guy up" 

Focker and his lackeys pounced towards Raven who sighed, "as you can see, trouble always comes to find me" , it seem like Raven was just speaking but he was saying it for the man at the end of the hallway to hear.

Raven and Danny were walking home with Danny speaking heartily as he used his hands to describe whatever he was saying. He turned to Raven and asks, "Raven, how are you so strong?" 

"Haven't I told you before, I was born like this" Raven shook his head as he stared at the setting sun behind a skyscraper, and his heart thumped. '

"Hmm, then you might be the descendant of a superhuman?" Danny put his right hand under his chin as he caressed it and started blurting out legendary names making Raven mouth to twitch. 

"Skybucks is open today, let's go have some snacks before we go home, what do you think?" Raven asks and Danny readily agreed. 

At night, Raven laid on his bed as he used his left hand to support his head, he held up a pendant and stared at it, there was nothing special about it, except for it being round, a pierced fist was engraved upon it with a capital letter N behind it, this pendant was what was left by his parents when he was a kid, so it's a symbol that he at least had parents. He ran his thumb across the engraving when it pricked him and he jolted as he dropped the pendant, why he dropped the pendant was because he seemed to have seen a blur vision of someone standing on a mountain edge, the person gave off the aura of being one above the world. "what was that?" 

Raven picked up the pendant, and he wore it, he didn't notice when the blood on the pendant got absorbed into it, he jumped out of bed took his hoodie and went out, towards the woods. On getting to the woods, Raven took his regular route to a small wooden house beside the stream. 

This was Raven's favorite hangout, he always came here at night whenever he could not sleep, he took off his clothes leaving him only in his underwear and he jumped into the stream, as he enjoyed the cool water on his body. He hissed in pain when the finger that was pricked by his pendant stung. 

Then there was a quake followed by complete darkness and after some minutes everything came back to view, this happened throughout the whole world. Then an hologram appeared to every human on earth:

[World Path System Assimilation complete] 

Immediately, chaos ensued around the whole world, Raven who was in the woods stared at the holographic screen in shock before he was pulled out by the roars and growls of beasts in the woods.

Raven who saw this shook his head as he closed the screen, he immediately got out of the water and wore his clothes, as he picked the hoodie, he felt a presence before him, he looked up to see a squirrel on a tree, but this could no longer be referred to as a squirrel, it was as big as a cat, and it had two fangs protruding from it's mouth which had some blood on it. The squirrel's body was pitch black as it's eyes were red as it stared at Raven with a predatory glare. 

Raven's heart thumped, as the holographic screen came up again, this time with a quest.
