New Years Day

The sky was almost pitch black but when the fireworks went off, it was littered with beautiful colors dancing on the wind without a care in the world, the once dim and depressing void of the night sky, now bright and brimming with energy, after which a faint purple hue began to surface on the face of the sky, beautiful and surreal.
