When Cyrus was born into one of the strongest magic clans, it was accompanied with supernatural phenomena of the highest levels. The Skyhelm clan celebrated for days on end, believing that they had just ushered in the birth of a precious clan member who would lead their clan to unprecedented heights in the future. But despite the incredible latent potential within him, Cyrus grew up to be a disappointment who had no interest in pursuing the path of magic. After all, learning magic was extremely time consuming. Why would he ever want to spend all that time on reading books, especially when he hardly even have enough time to finish eating all the different delicacies waiting for him out there in the various corners of this world? However, after Cyrus ended up being imprisoned in the clan library, he started to realise the one truth of the world of magic... Advancing in the magical path would greatly increase his lifespan, which meant that he would have that much more time to spend on looking for delicacies. At that point, he would not only be able to enjoy the delicacies of his era, but even those in the eras to come!
