Chapter 1Gluttony

'Where did it all go wrong?' I thought, lying on the ground. Around me, the stone floor of the vast ravine was indented, with cracks creating a weblike formation on the ground. 'My right arm is broken, it's completely done for. My ribs are shattered, and my legs are bent in backward.'

"That motherfucker, Cedric. I'm fine with getting bullied since this was our last year, but this fucking piece of shit has the balls to push me into a ravine? I don't know whether to be fucking impressed or scared for the rest of the world, he's got balls of steel."

I coughed, and suddenly I spit out a mouthful of blood. 'Shit.' I used some mana and spread it throughout my body. A piece of the many broken ribs in my body was cut into my lungs, and my talking wasn't helping. I pushed myself up with my left arm and tried my best to look around.

"What the hell is this place?"

I was in the ravine that I was standing over before but on the other side of the waterfall that poured into it. I pushed myself away from the waterfall, farther into the hidden ravine, when suddenly the entire place lit up. "Human life detected, activating laboratory system. Welcome to Lab-548.", said a mechanical voice.

I shielded my eyes while adapting to the sudden brightness. When my eyes had gotten used to the light, I looked around and saw 7 containment units, each wider than a normal human and a good few feet taller. Something was weird though, 6 of them were completely empty. The glass on the far left was burnt through, and the one on the far left was punched through, with a bit of the containment liquid still in it. The second-to-last on the left was opened manually, and there weren't any traces of struggle, while the second-to-last one on the right was just empty, with a glowing, translucent, white liquid, full to the brim. Finally, the last empty one was completely destroyed; the ravine wall behind it was completely splattered in blood, and there were large chunks of glass embedded in various places on the wall.

I slowly crawled over to the only remaining containment unit, which was right in the middle. It had a black orb within it, which was just floating there. While looking at the nameplate of the unit, I subconsciously murmured, "Gluttony." Suddenly, the black orb started freaking out. I could hear some sound coming from it, and the entire thing was spasming. I could feel the vibrations without even touching it. "Come" was the final word I heard before my arm started moving by itself. The last thing I remembered before passing out was my arm touching the glass wall, while all the liquid drained from the unit and the glass walls fell.

'wake up... Wake up... WAKE UP!!'

My eyes snapped open, and I sprang up, looking around for the voice that woke me up. I released a small amount of mana to detect the space around me, but I didn't sense anything. Suddenly, everything that happened before I passed out rushed back to me. I turned around and looked at the now-empty 7th containment unit.

'I'm not there. Humans always look at the wrong places, looking around them but never inside. It's always interesting to witness a human's thought process.'

'Inside me?', I thought. I circulated my mana, only to find my body completely repaired, my mana veins much denser, and the mysterious black orb to be within my mana heart. I quickly looked at the containment unit again and read the name plaque.

"Gluttony..." I muttered. I looked at the other name plaques. There were Pride, Envy, Lust, Greed, Wrath, and Sloth written on the other 6 containment units. Suddenly, I remembered an article I had read a few months ago. It was written by an anonymous user, talking about how there were many hidden laboratories around the world, controlled by 3 separate organizations; the Continental Government, the Rebellion, and the Irregulars.

"What are you?" I asked. A black mass started coming out from my back and wrapped around to look at me, giving me deja vu from watching Venom a few weeks ago.

'I am the Primal Sin of Gluttony, ranked in the Top 7 among those in Hell. I was summoned out of Hell sometime ago along with the other Sins, and for the past few years, I've been alone in this lab.'

"How long is a few years for you? Like, 3-4 or.." I questioned.

'For entities such as myself, we don't think about time in such a short view. We think in centuries, even millennia. I've been in that containment unit for the past two centuries, and by myself for the past 9 decades. Today would have marked a century being alone in this laboratory,' Glutonny sighed. 'The other 6 found hosts that suited them a long time ago, which means that we should get going. Luckily for me, I found a host. The unlucky part is that since today is a new decade, our location as well as host status gets revealed. Right now, there are two in the Government, one close to the Mountain of Light, one each in the Irregulars and Rebellion, and the last two are in the Capital.'

"You don't mean the Capital where I live right? Right???" I asked. "I don't have any combat experience, I'm weak as fuck, and I have no sponsors. And from what I get, your warning me means that there is some sort of danger with you having a host currently as well as our location being so close to them. Bro, I'm gonna die. I haven't even had my first girlfriend yet, pleaseeeeee-"

'Shut the fuck up,' Gluttony groaned. 'I don't plan on letting you die when I'm just getting back to living again. And I definitely don't want to go back to that hot hellhole that I call home. Lucifer's gonna give me all of the shit that the other 6 haven't done ever since getting to the human world, FUCK! Alright, here's the plan. All you have to do is give me complete control over your body, and I can protect the two of us. Super simple. All you have to do is say yes.'

"No," I responded.

'Alright, cool- Huh?'

"I said no. I've read enough webnovels and manhwa to know that whenever some parasite fucking trash comes into the MC's body, you never give them full control. We're in this together, if I die, you go back to Hell. So, teach me. Make me stronger. Surely the title of Primal Sin isn't completely wasted on you, right? Teach me how to use your powers, and how I can kill the other 6.", I responded.

'Fucking humans. Your kind always makes our lives so much more difficult. Alright, then. What's your name, human?'

"Alex Cyatri. And you?", I responded.

'Call me Fabrion,' he responded. 'Alex Cyatri, I, Fabrion, the Primal Sin of Gluttony will sign a contract with you. The following terms will be in place till death; Alex Cyatri will be protected by the Primal Sin of Gluttony, Alex Cyatri will have his physique restructured, Alex Cyatri will grow under Fabrion's instruction, and if Alex Cyatri dies, Fabrion is given permission to inhabit his body and live in the human world. In return, Fabrion and Alex Cyatri are allowed by the Omnipotent, Omniscient, and Omnipresent to inhabit the same body in the human world. Do you agree?'

The answer I gave was something I had never been more sure of in my life. I had the opportunity to become the strongest, get my revenge, and achieve goals that I wouldn't have been able to think of without this encounter.

"I agree."

I Can Copy And Evolve Talents

Across the vast convolution of worlds, divine beings rule as absolute sovereigns—each god assigned dominion over a singular realm. Skirmishes are inevitable, whether for power, amusement, or sheer pettiness. One such battle, between Nexus, the God of Trickery, and an aging, senile deity, resulted in an anomaly… A soul misplaced. Elliot, an ordinary man, was never meant for Ul’Tra-el. But fate, or perhaps a cosmic prank, had other plans. Unlike other worlds, Ul’Tra-el is an aberration—one that developed a voice. A voice that diverged from the natural order. A voice that changed everything. Its foundation cracked, leaking dimensions into one another. Rifts tore open like festering wounds, vomiting forth unspeakable horrors—monsters not meant to exist. But the world did not sit idly by. In response—perhaps an act of self-preservation—the world gifted its inhabitants power. Talents awakened, granting people extraordinary abilities. And for every rift sealed, the Voice of Ul rewarded them generously. Survival was simple: fight, grow stronger, and close the rifts… or die trying. In this ruthless, blood-soaked reality, Northern—a white-haired boy burdened by his past life—was reincarnated. But unlike the chosen heroes, he awakened as a talentless nobody. No power. No strength. No future. And when death loomed over him—when despair clawed at his soul and the cold grip of the failure threatened to take him— A Voice responded: [System Notice] [Your Soul cannot take a form.] [Searching for a Unique Pattern Ability…] [Searching…] [Search Found.] [A Unique System Ability has been detected.] [You Can Copy And Evolve Talents] ... Follow Northern through his journey as he becomes the pinnacle of this world. This a story about a white-haired boy’s rise from rubbles!! Note: This is an overpower genre but MC does not just start off like that. Even though MC can copy talents he doesn't just jump around copying talents because there's a limitation. However, his rise to strength is depicted and is an experience to enjoy. The first few hundreds would be frustrating to follow because MC is weak but that makes the experience all the more interesting when MC finally gets freaking strong and starts wiping the floor with everyones asses.

Young Master's PoV: Woke Up As A Villain In A Game One Day

"Now you see?" she shouted in a mix of annoyance and disappointment. "You can't outsmart Scrients! They're the most intelligent beings across the two realms." "You're right," I muttered, averting my gaze with a heavy sigh. "I made a mistake. I was too arrogant to think that a mere human like me could fool them." —BOOM!! "Heik! Wh-What was that?" "Hmm? I'm not sure. Maybe you should go and ask the most intelligent beings across the two realms. Oh wait, you can't. I killed them all.” ______ My name is Samael Kaizer Theosbane. On the last day of high school, I got into a fight with a kid I used to bully. It was a stupid, pointless scuffle, and in the middle of it, I tripped and hit my head on a rock. That’s when the memories came flooding in - the memories of another life, of a different world. Suddenly, everything made a twisted kind of sense. I realized two things. First, I was in a game I used to play in my past life. Second, I was a villain. A villain! Not the cool and mysterious kind, either. No, my destiny was to be manipulated and die a dog's death! I was the worst type of cliché: an ungrateful, privileged, insufferable young master. The sort you'd find in those poorly written fantasy stories. The kind everyone hates — a snobby brat from a powerful noble family who thinks he owns the world just because he was born with a silver spoon lodged in his mouth. You know the type. The one the hero beats to a pulp to prove his worth. Yeah, I was that guy. And the hero? The hero was the kid I’d been bullying all this time. The same one I got into a fight with. He was the supposed savior of this damned world. A world teetering on the edge of destruction, beset by wars, calamities, and a grim future that only I knew. And at the end of it all, the final antagonist of the game, the undefeatable boss… the Spirit King, was waiting. But could I even make it to the end? Could I conquer a game where defeat was the only certainty? A game that was now my reality! “Ah, fuck it.” I had no idea if I could, but I sure as hell was going to try. Extorting extras, manipulating main characters, twisting the story to my advantage, stealing the hero’s cheat items, killing villains before they could become threats - nothing was beneath me. Would the main characters be affected? Who cares! Would the story change? Even better! All I cared about was me—my survival, my life, my choices. “I will live this life with no regrets.” …But as I soon discovered, fate was not easily changed. And the price of altering one's destiny was steep.
