8 X Place X Day (Prologue VIII)
at a certain distance from the sky , a sturdy city can be seen at the base of a black pointy mountain. Circumventing the city was a black wall in which it's tall was almost a quarter of the mountains.
the view that can be seen from the ground through the wall was a speck of white column with pointy end.
meanwhile surrounding the city wall was thick tree and grooves that height was almost three quarters of the black wall.
This is the last city of human races, In which was almost extinct if not due to the action of 10 persona call "The Elders".
A catastrophic event had happened almost 100 years ago, In which the human races was prosperous and advanced.
But due to greed and envy, War broke over the world , and the world was plunged into the state of oblivion, dark and grey world almost devoid of any green luster it was been.
As if the world retaliate against humanity, an unknown phenomenon had happened and beings from other worlds march into the earth.
the creature were human-like but was hideous and undead-like. If a modern person would describe it. They were some sort zombies entity with some sort variation possibly from evolution of some sort
the period of entry and encounter of the creature with human was brief but the effect was devastating as the contagious disease they carried turn millions of people each day at contact.
plus the creature was quite tough, resilient, cunning and in formation. The army immediately were overwhelmed by the creature on one side and the infected human on the other side.
luckily for the human, with the entrance of the creature a new type of world law were permeated from the rift and into the world.
one word would be able to describe that law. Magic.
The realization of magic existence was when there were appearance of persons call paranormal .
they wield strange and powerful ability that were used for good and bad .
Some use the power to rob people of their natural necessity such as food, fuel and etc. While some others used it to rallied his/her cronies to form a small clan that take part in raiding military base.
As for one part of paranormal group, they band up with the rest of good forces fighting and fought back against the creature.
they fought tirelessly year by year... but in human nature, greed were boundless.
with endless time of raiding by the evil paranormal, the humanity side were soon tipped back as they were before the appearance of the paranormal. Pushed toward extinction.
with each passing year the resources become much more scarce with the evil paranormal raiding.The humanity future were grim.
and thus 11 strongest good paranormal took the helm of humanity and decided to eradicate the lawless paranormal and establishing a rule to all paranormal to ensure the survival of humanity.
and thus there was a period of time in which human kill other human for the sake of their respective group life continuity's.
the good paranormal prevail but not without a pyrrhic Victory. With each fight humanity lose even more paranormal being and with the continuous attack from the creature, it turns to almost despair for the normal human.
but surprisingly, just before the final battle against the evil paranormal base. The creature stop attacking human settlements. This cease fire give a relieve for all human base. But raises a number of concerns on the reason behind this cessation.
nevertheless the final battle continued and the good side wins. The top evil paranormal were kill and the rest are either captured or executed.
Once the war is over, humanity celebrate the winning with 3 days festival. A lots of food and drinks were brought out , and people eat all they can of what was remaining.
some minority raise questions on the food issues. But were sidestep by the 11 top paranormal.
All went well for 2 days of the festival... and there is no such thing as perfect. With all the booze involved... the security turn lax and sometimes quarrel happened.
By the last day.... the 11th paranormal sense something awry on the horizon... that was a big flying lizard flying towards the city.
He immediately sound the alarm and the entire city awoken... but still under influence of booze the response were to slow and the 11 paranormal had to go by themselves to deal the flying lizard.
but the lizard was a trap.... behind the rising sun and his unique ability to expand his body several fold... it make like he's approaching the city but rather he is flying about the same places...
under him was a mountain and near the mountain inclination was an army of evolved undead.
under extreme confidence the 11 elder swiftly rush towards the flying lizard and kill it almost immediately.
but by the time lizard died... all other undead rush in and encircle the 11 elders and kill them in process.... that process cause thousands of high level evolved undead and even cause vice liutenant of Blood Empress to died.
