6 Day X (Prologue VI)
"The end is near!!" that was a few apocalyptic group were chanting...
but to sane mind, their proclamation is a joke..
but even with their sane mind, deep down in their heart , they can feel uneasiness building up inside battling their conscious mind.
with the rising living cost, plague popping up out of nowhere and now, the threat of zombies, people have the right to be afraid.
Fear give birth to Paranoia and Paranoia cultivate Chaos.
almost all the government know this and give reassurance to its citizen to qualm the uneasiness from all out panic ensued.
but rich people and other influenced people utilize this tools to the their own advantage. Some layman rich people use this moment for profit, maximizing essential goods price to the ceiling. While others, use this time to eradicate their potential enemies.
with all the news focusing onto the zombie outbreak, and the increase of news revolving the zombies outbreak. This is nigh time for them to make a move.
one of two unknown death reported by the media were overwhelmed by the zombies news and as such, the news regarding the peculiar death was sweep under the rug and day by days... other issues rather than the zombie issues were opt out by the media.
under the war of humanity with the zombies, the humanity war of shadow is heating up.
the underbelly of human society gear up its arm and teeth for a showdown across the entire world.
Gang quarrel and fighting is day by day becoming a norm and a new source of headache to the local police.
As for the elitist, assassination, asset seizing plot, poisoning and even genocide were been done for power, land and etc.
but the people were more interested in sensation news such as celebrity, politic and now the zombies outbreak.

Ukuraine.
A lovely country with lovely space to live in.
But that is years ago. now it divided into two faction.
The separatist and the government.
The separatist loud for freedom and corruption free and demand the current government to step down. While the government label this group as a left wing group and endangered the democracy of the nation.
and thus come endless cycle of word war... with each side labeling others. Till one incident that escalate to civil war. coup d'etat.
coup d'etat was initiated from one of the general that are pro Rutheria, and with the backing of supplies from Kremlin, they tried to topple the current UC backed government.
The top management of the country already got a whiff of the plan, leaked by the UC intelligence agency.
but due to superficial hold onto the military, the coup d'etat was unable to completely stop.
more than half of the military were under influence of Pro Rutheria General and the general troops were almost all Rutheria fanatic.
due to close proximity of the nation to Rutheria and far away from UC was one of the factor of helplessness in stopping the coup.
and thus Ukuraine was plunged into another proxy wars between giant.
due to media focused on the zombies outbreak, and all the big five countries except Rutheria and Chini are focusing on to the eradication and containment of the zombies. Ukuraine proxy wars was left between the Ukuraine government and the separatist group backed by the Rutheria
UC was now involved with its own problem and have a new interest. Thus they decide to left the Ukuraine to its own fate.
Thus, at one day, the Separatist with instruction from Rutheria bombard and assault Donetsk. Without the assistance of intel from UC, the separatist assault was met with weak defense and counter and as a consequences,Donetsk fall to the Separatist.
From there, the Separatist stop advancing and looting all the equipment and supplies and prepare for the counter offense from the government counterpart.
but after 4 days of waiting, to their surprise the Ukuraine government did not counter attack. Then a directive instruction came from Rutheria to mobilize all the separatist troops to march forward towards the capital Kiev. Capitulating the nation.
In the meantime, Rutheria send its undercover mercenaries to Kiev directly to capture the President and the kill the opposing General.
Without another round of intelligence help from UC, Ukuraine Capital is wide open for the offensive.
The advancement of the Separatist war machine was spotted by the Ukuraine Government. As a response they rallied up at Boryspil as they receive information from their intelligence that a massive mechanized army armed with a few T72B and a few 9k33 Oksa anti air missile from Rassa courtesy
Meanwhile a few mechanized truck unit were spotted split from the main battle group suspected on going to the capital through Obukhiv and thus a few anti infantry division was designated at junction near Obukhiv to counter and ambush the separatist mobile infantry .
To Ukuraine army, the offensive towards the capital was foreseen and the general had prepared his own intelligence network within 75 km of the Capital.
But to much of their helplessness, counter offensive is not a best way to preserve their power inside the country. Thus what they can do was, propaganda play.
they downplay the defeat of at Donetsk as a gesture of government does not want to kill its own citizen and emphasized that the rebel was brainwashed by the Rutheria and once it had capitulate the current government, Rutheria will make Ukurainian a second rate citizen.
With fear and bathing by hypocrisy of Politics, the Ukuranian soon develop a resistance towards the rebellion and more of them willing to become a spy for the current government.
As usual, the rebel denied the accusation and does not go after follow up of the event. They instead proceed marching towards the capital for one goal, capitulation of the government.
Fierce battle happened near Obukhiv as the Separatist were ambushed by unexpected disguise of Government troops as a civilians.
The Separatist were able breakthrough the deadly deadlock but after sustained high casualties they retreat and rallying for another breakthrough.
The Government forces does not let up the attack and push the separatist mechanized forces towards south and away from the capital.
The same thing happened at the Separatist Heavy Task Force.
A group of civilian come affront of the Task Group and plead for supplies when suddenly several rocket bursting out of nowhere from the surrounding and damage the T72 Tank Track. Meanwhile another one was bursting a track at the behind of the convoy.
Screaming were heard here and there.....civilians or not matter here... as both forces shoot at whatever on the other opposite end to inflict as much damage as possible...
The Heavy Task Force are pinned down with rocket flying and bursting its payload to Machinery Separatist.. Metallic component flying everywhere and killing civilians and army personnel alike.
Although Separatist have gotten their weapon upgraded from Rutheria, but most of their army was inexperience with an exception of the merc.
From outside view, the separatist were rapidly loses much of its forces but with the helps of the Experienced Mercenaries, they are able to tilt back the advantages towards them.
At the meantime, at the Airbase, the Ukuranian Airforce are deploying it remaining Aircraft to sortie and aids the counter defensive at the Separatist Heavy Task Force.
2 Heavily Armed Helicopter equipped with Saclos Missile and Rotary MachineGun were immediately sort out.
At the same time, the Army Heavy Machinery were tank up at the capital just in case there was another attack from another split forces.

Heavy shouting was heard on the radio somewhere near Boryspil...
"Requesting Backup!!! we will not last long!!!"
after a moment... a static along with voice chime in
"Hold your ground!!... Aerial Support are coming!!"
Hearing that there will be Aerial Support, he felt relieved but then... he grimace...
"That is a no go!!.... Enemy anti air is not neutralized!!!.....I repeat Enemy anti air is not neutralized"
"WHAT DO YOU MEANT IS NOT NEUTRALIZED YET!!?"
"GO BACK AND POINT YOUR BLOODY ROCKET AT THOSE 9k33 Oksa SAM Vehicle!!!"
"THERE IS NO FUCKING ROCKET LEFT TO USE!!!..."
"REQUESTING RETREAT AND TANK SUPPORT"
"NO WE CANT!!!"
"WE GOTTEN INSIDER INTEL THAT RUTHERIA IS DOING SOMETHING!!"
" So no... we will not take chances deploying our strongest unit..."
"But we will lose our aerial support if continued like this!!"
A moment of silence entail till there is a murmur heard from other side.
"Retreat permitted, come back to Rendezvous point Beta"
relieve by the permission, he summon his aides to order for retreat, but suddenly a sudden buzzed were heard from the other side of the radio....
there was sudden anxiety build up inside the commander, but retreat is at utmost importance.
while he is heading out of the safehouse, and proceed to the rendezvous point, he saw a thick smoke from the Capital and then a loud booom accompanied it,
The shockwaves of the explosion left the commander flying and crash to the wall of the vicinity house.
Once he gotten a hold of himself, he gaze back towards the capital when he saw a mushroom black smoke enveloping the capital sky...
He was speechless, he know what that mushroom cloud was.....
that mushroom cloud was from Nuclear Bomb Attack...
For instances he recalled information from his superior..... "Rutheria is planning on something"
but the degree of something in his mind does not include Nuclear Bomb Attack.... and thus he just stare there absent minded and clueless of what to do next.
His family, friends and parent were at the capital... and now... they are probably lost their life in the blast.... for him to go back right now will be futile... as almost Europian knew how dangerous is a nuclear Fallout with the example from Chernobyl.
For their country being hit by Nuclear Bomb 2nd time is a surprise. And news pop out to the world several hours after the Mushroom Cloud being observed and reported by the IAEA.
The Allies accused Rutheria irresponsibly supply nuclear bomb to the Separatist Forces and demand Rutheria to obey the restraining injunction of people responsible, including the president of Rutheria.
But is it that a fact? No one knows?.
But that was news for another time.
His eyes come back to lives and with his hand clenched.... he look back at the dust filled environment and quickly left the area to unknown places.... determined to topple Rutheria Government to the ground.
