After a period of time messing around with the interface, Scott can deduct a few things. First is that due to his head injury he was lucky enough to gain the World Fragment System. But based on what the system specified that's not the main reason. The main reason he got the ability is that he was just lucky to be able to pick up the system frequency wave when he was comatose. The chance of that happening is 0.000001%. If he was able to gain it from just by hitting his head then there would be more use of the system.

The second thing he learns is that there is 9 other user besides him that awaken to this system. But it is unknown how many of them are still alive today as the system doesn't give any information on them. The third based on the system information the thing that gives him these 2 new abilities of his is the natural law of the world as his reward. He then asks the system to give a brief description of the skill abilities

-Have a 25% success rate with a time period of 1 day to complete the process. During that time Target must be 10m in the radius of the user

-To use ability requires the user to have physical contact with the target

-Obtain skill is at the same Rank of Parasitic Assimilator current skill rank

-Obtain skill and memories are places into the Assimilator Slot. If the slot is full then it will require the user to overwrite the skill

-Since skill is a bloodline type skill it can enhance its rank

Base on the system brief description, Scott was able to get the gist of his skills. Even so, it took him a while to finally calm down and realizing that he now has these 2 new abilities and that can be enhanced and grow. But there's still more surprise waiting for him. The fourth thing he discovers is that the system will provide him with quest and a shop system. Based on his understanding and many lost hours playing RPG games when he was little he kind have some speculation of it. At the moment both functions are still in progress on initiating making him only guess its function.

Then he notices something strange on his palm. There seems to be a strange wing crest engrave at his palm. He stares at it for a while and asks the system why is his left palm like that. The system reply with

Suddenly then Scott hears a voice beside him" You know you could tell me to give you some privacy right? There's no need for me to watch you as you do some 'action' with your lefty over there"

"W-W-What are you talking about I'm just thinking about the dream I had last night that why I got distracted looking at my hand. There's nothing weird about it" said Scott in a flustered and he regret every word of it.

"I gotcha. That must be some dream you had there. I will go and take a shower you do what you need to do. I will make sure to open the water outlet more open that way the water current can cancel out the noise while you do your thing" Qamir said with a wink.

Afterward, Qamir gets himself ready for class since Scott is not fully recovered Qamir goes to class by himself while Scott tinker around the system to gain a more understanding of it. Once class finish Qamir goes back to his room and ask Scott whether is he alright to go on today expedition."I'm fine now Qamir thanks for asking. So how did it go did find someone to sell the Salamander Blood Drop?"

"Well I did find one but the individual we talking about is kinda notorious. She's a second year her name is Amber, Amberly Delarosa also known as the Scorching Flames. I already spoke to her and she says she willing to give us 2 drops of the blood essence in exchange for something of the same value in return and it has to be an alchemy material"Qamir reply

"Why alchemy material?" asked Scott

Qamir replied with"You don't know? Well, figure as much since most of your time before you blackout at 1st week you were busy studying. Amberly Delarosa as you might have guessed it she's from the Delarosa family which mostly involve in the alchemy industry. About 25% of the medical product of the Dusk Empire is made from the Delarosa family. Due to her family fortune, she started cultivating when she was the age of 7 and now reach the highest stage of the foundation realm. She is also a rank 2 alchemist making her one of the youngest alchemists on the empire. From what I hear she likes to collect exotic and rare plants and herb. She said even if she has a copy of a rare plant she willing to trade with it"

"So in short if we can find an earthen rank plant we can take 2 of its leaf and barter the rest of it for the 2 drops of salamander blood essence right?" said Scott

"Yup but we better make sure we the one that found it first since she said she only has a limited amount of blood essence at her right now"replied Qamir.

After the two boys pack and gear up they go to the meeting point. It was at the at the south area of the academy near its exit gate. Once they arrive they saw some of their classmates have already arrived there. Since Scott was absent for a whole week and was not paying attention to his classmate during the entrance exam period he felt like the outcast. Luckily for him, Qamir got his back so Scott just follows his lead walking over to Qamir group of friends.

"Oh Qamir you here. This must be Scott right. We didn't get the chance to introduce ourselves. My name is Hilda, Hilda Crossmark. it's nice to meet you" said the ponytail hair with a slightly attractive face girl while stretchering out her hand towards Scott.

Scott replied with a smile"My name is Scott, Scott Miana but I'm guessing you know that right" while shaking Hilda's hand. At that moment the system gives a notification that caught him by surprise.
