18 Visiting the Boer family

An unusual pair could be seen walking on the road, one was a bald well built man with broad shoulders carrying a bag, besides him a girl whose height only made it to his waist accompanied him. These two were Lufti and Lina. After asking Leon for permission, he decided that after the support and warm words from the Boer family, there wouldn't be any problem if Lina went with Lufti.

Still, knowing how 'corrupted' some people were, Lufti was going to be working on the edge. He will have to teach the Boer family the new techniques, protect Lina, himself and also try to spot the elders and family members with enough weight that were against their arrival. This visit was just a fake cover for intel gathering.

As they walked down the road, Lina told Lufti about what she dreamt last night. She was flying on a winged tiger and could see the whole forest from high up. The dream also had a lot of pink and flowery details, but for Lufti it was an amusing walk as he listened to his sister.

What bothered Lufti was, that since they left the house, someone was following them. It wasn't hard for him to grasp his location but he had to think about Lina and his current objective. While he was doing this in order to help Kyus city, his self-interest was into it as well. He had always loved animals, ever since he was little.

Lufti always had a soft spot for furry things, and when they were in the forest he snuck several little animals inside the hut where they lived. Some where found by his Master, other by his mother and the rest were all Leroux ranting on him. Sometimes he could keep the animal if it was harmless, some other times he was ordered to kill it, but even like that he never did. That's why his Master decided to tell him that they 'escaped' and 'died' in the forest. In order to learn how to take better care of them, he begged his Master so he could learn more about animals and that was what his teacher taught him the most. The knowledge he accumulated had come from keeping his own animals.

He knew what different animals liked, what was nutritious to them and what could help with the enviroment in which they grew up. All of that was in his bag, and he would never part ways with it. He was even jealous of Leon getting 2 furry friends, that is why he was the first one to make a trip to the Boer family. He wanted to play with animals, not only help them raise better cattle.

On their way to the Boer family, several people started to follow him. At first it was only one, but after making all their way to the Boer family gate, several people had joined. These people were not normal, they had the ability to hide themselves and observe him at the same time. For some reason, they had no intention on attacking him, no hostility could be felt from them.

Once Lufti and Lina arrived at the gate in front of the Boer family, they were received with warm smiles by the Boer family head and her granddaughter. The family head lead the way with all the elders behind her. "Lufti Lea, it's our honor to be the first family being visited. I am glad that you trust us so much that you came with your sister, I promise you that you all will be accompanied by my granddaughter and she will personally show you to everything there is in the Boer family".

"It is my honor to be here Boer family head, do not worry, I will help with the best of my abilities. This here is my sister Lina, you probably know her but here I am with a personal request of mine. Can you please give me a few minutes and take care of my sister? I need to do something beforehand. It won't take long" as Lufti finished talking he dissapeared on the spot, only a blur of his huge body could be seen. The Boer family members were stunned, but soon with the bag hitting the floor they woke up from that weird trance they were in.

They had heard before about this kids abilities and their powerful presence but it seems that it was still shocking. They had promised to train people with almost the same as their abilities. If they could have guards with that kind of speed, who could stop them? Boer Burma thought that her choice to support them as the Boer family head was the best. She was old, and she wanted the best for her family. Before the visit, she made sure to warn all the Boer family members that were opposed to the Lea family that she would not forgive them if they screwed up. She went as far as to push this kind of 'diplomatic' work on her granddaughter Birma as to make her bond closer with the Lea family.

That day when they came back from the meeting, for some reason Birma was restless and Burma could feel it. Ever since Birma's parents passed away in an accident, Burma was always by her side. She even delayed family matters in order to spend time with her granddaughter. When she was young, she got married to the new family head of the Boer family, but he passed away soon after she gave birth to her first and only son. With the prospect of her son growing up to be the next family head, she took the temporary role of leading the family. Fate was cruel on her, as she lost her son and daughter in law soon after Birm was born. With the fate of Birma in her hands, she decided to groom her to be better than herself, and to shower her in love, the love she hadn't received from her parents. That is why, when she saw Birma restless, she noticed immediately.

That same night, she called Birma to her room in order to talk, and after talking for a while Birma told her that it was the first time that a man didn't look at her with lustful eyes. While Burma knew this was true, she thought that she was talking about Leon, but instead, Birma told her that Lufti had caught her attention. The first thought in Burma's head was 'My granddaughter likes big men!' and it wasn't wrong. But that wasn't what caught Birma's attention. Even though their meeting was short, Lufti's warm eyes and politeness caught her by surprise. Even when he walked past her to leave their gifts, not once did he look at her body in a nasty way, instead he looked at her in the eye and smiled with a small bow of his head, showing respect. This was completely different to the rest of the young masters of the big families.

This is the reason why in order to satisfy her granddaughters and her own curiosity, she was going to make Birma the guide in this tour. Not long after Lufti left, Lina got close to Burma and looked at her with suspicious eyes. This caused Burma to let out a loud laugh and pat her head, "What are you looking at little lady?".

"Well, my brother Leon told me that you had animals and I hoped to see some cute ones. Do you guys have cute animals? Maybe we can buy it if I like it, Leon promised that if I got stronger I could get a pet!" Lina explained her conversation with Leon the previous day and was really excited to see some animals. Right when she was about to end her story, Lufti appeared next to her and said "Done, there was some unfinished business I had to take care of", he shrugged his shoulders and chuckled. He picked up his bag once more and bowed in front of the welcoming convoy "My name is Lufti Lea, and I have many interesting things. They are all natural things we collected in the forest, and some of them can improve the survivability rate of your newly born, while others can fatten cattle. Some can strenghthen your crops, purify your water and more. May we start with this visit?".
