6 Too many surprises!

Beasts and Animals had different types and colors. The color usually showed their prowess and abilities. Yellow was defense, these kind of animals would have the strongest shells and furs there were. Red animals would usually use strenght to their advantage, some of them were extremely strong and a single tackle against the walls of Kyus would leave them defenseless. Green animals were usually really amicable, but when provoked their poison was so strong that it melted nearly everything it touched. Blue animals usually lived near water, and they could use it with extreme precision, cutting trees as if they were butter or rocks as if they were made out of foam. For some reason, these creatures could store water and later on release it however they wanted.

All these challenges seemed simple, but some beasts possesed more than one color and some had strange colors never seen by the Kriger like White, Black, Brown, Purple and more.

Most animals were a mixture of colors when they were born, usually covered with a light pink shade over them, showing that they were immature. Kyus City knew the capabilities of some colored animals, but they normally faced pups and that was already hard for them. The posibility of these kids bringing a really strong animal near the gates made the two guards nervous and anxious.

No! You can't bring such a dangerous beast near the city! The losses would be masive if it gets inside! We, we can afford to pay for the traps in that case, we don't mind doing so but don't put the city in danger!

Leroux tried to hold his laughter but exploded after trying to resist it for a while, it was not easy for him to hold his mocking words deep inside, but at the same time, their words were so funny to him that he couldn't speak at all! He was feeling a stomach ache he had never felt before, he knelt on the floor and rolled, laughing at their fear, but Leon was different. He frowned, and when Leroux saw his frown, his face turned pale. He knew that his laughter didn't displease his brother, but there is something wrong with his brother. Why would he frown when he was always smiling despite being kinda angry? Leroux and Lufti knew Leon well. He would not stop smiling unless something really bad is going on. He stood up and tried to think hard about what made his brother frown, but thinking wasn't his forte.

Brother, do you want me to bring a yellow armadillo or do I look for something weaker? Leroux knew that he needed to hurry and run away from his big brother before he starts explaining what is wrong. In case he didn't get away fast, his brain would explode due to overload of information. To this, Leon responded with a nod, and Leroux walked slowly deep into the forst with his arms behind his back as if strolling threw the park, once he was out of sight a small blast could be heard followed by a loud shriek.

Leon turned to the guards and got closer to them, his frown not dissapearing at all...

When was the last attack Kyus suffered? What animal was it? Why is the city so scared of weak animals? When was the last time adventurers brought a good haul? What are your weapons made of? What are these traps made of? Who made them? Are there enough materials inside the city to make good weapons?

All these questions made the guards brains spin and spin, not being able to understand nor answer this barrage of inquiries. To their reaction, Leon simply smiled and with another swing of his rod he broke a few other traps, making it look more "realistic". He turned around and sat down a few meters from the entrance of the gate.

Don't worry, the body of the armadillo will pay for the destruction of those traps and the families will be really happy that they will get good armor for their army and of course, there is no need to worry. I vowed I wouldn't harm the city and I will be true to my word. The armadillo will be brought here dead, not alive as you both think.

Shortly after Leon finished talking, a huge body could be seen flying through the sky, a yellow thing around 9mts long aproached the gate at a high speed only to land near Leon with a huge boom. After the dust dissapeared, the body of a yellow armadillo could be seen, covered in bruises as if it's shell was made of plastic and it received several hammer blows to the body. These surprises only made the guards get shocked one more time and think that they were too old to be surprised so often that it could be the end of their lives at any moment.
